We lift up this precious soul before the throne of grace, interceding with urgency and faith in the power of our Lord Jesus Christ. Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, yet trusting in Your sovereign will and infinite mercy. We pray for this young man, who lies in a coma after a devastating accident. Lord, You are the Great Physician, the One who knit him together in his mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13). We ask for Your healing touch to restore his body, mind, and spirit. If it is Your will, breathe life back into him, Lord, and let him wake from this darkness into the light of Your presence.
Father, we declare that by the stripes of Jesus, he is healed (Isaiah 53:5). We rebuke every spirit of infirmity, trauma, and death that seeks to claim his life. In the name of Jesus, we command his body to function as You designed it—his brain to awaken, his limbs to move, and his breath to flow without hindrance. Surround him with Your angels, Lord, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard his heart and mind (Philippians 4:7).
We also pray for his family and loved ones, who are no doubt overwhelmed with fear and grief. Strengthen them, Father, and fill them with Your hope. Remind them that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who have a contrite spirit (Psalm 34:18). Let them feel Your presence in this trial, and give them the faith to trust You even when the outcome is uncertain.
Lord, if this young man does not yet know You as his Savior, we pray that even in this state, Your Holy Spirit would draw him to repentance and faith. We declare that there is no other name under heaven by which he can be saved except the name of Jesus Christ (Acts 4:12). If he has not confessed Jesus as Lord, we ask that You would reveal Yourself to him in a powerful way, even now. Let him hear Your voice and respond, for You are the resurrection and the life, and whoever believes in You, though he die, yet shall he live (John 11:25).
We stand on Your promises, Father, and we refuse to accept defeat. We believe in Your power to heal and restore, and we trust You to work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28). May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified, whether through healing or through the testimony of Your faithfulness in the midst of suffering.
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
