We hear your deep concern and love for your relative, and we join with you in lifting her up before the Lord. It is heartbreaking to sense that others may be speaking words of discouragement or even ill intent over her life. We want to remind you that God is the giver of life, and His purposes for her are not yet fulfilled until He calls her home. Let us stand firm in faith, trusting in His sovereignty and protection.
First, we must address the power of words. Scripture tells us in Proverbs 18:21, "Death and life are in the power of the tongue; those who love it will eat its fruit." The words of the nurses, whether spoken in ignorance or malice, carry no authority over God’s plans. We rebuke any spirit of negativity, fear, or premature death that may have been spoken over your relative. We declare that those words have no power here, and we speak life, healing, and God’s perfect will over her in Jesus’ name.
The Bible assures us in Psalm 91:11-12, "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone." We pray that God’s holy angels would encamp around your relative, shielding her from all harm, sickness, and evil. May they stand as a wall of protection, ensuring that no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We also pray for wisdom and discernment for you as you advocate for her care. May the Lord expose any ungodly motives or actions around her and bring them to light.
We must also address the importance of placing our trust in God alone, not in the opinions or predictions of others. In Jeremiah 17:5-6, the Lord warns, "Cursed is the man who trusts in man, and makes flesh his arm, whose heart departs from Yahweh. For he shall be like a shrub in the desert, and shall not see when good comes." We encourage you to fix your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2), and to reject any fear or doubt that may try to take root in your heart.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the only name by which we are saved and can approach Your throne of grace. Lord, we lift up this precious one to You, asking for Your divine protection and healing. We declare that no plan of the enemy shall prosper against her, and we cancel every word spoken in unbelief or malice. Surround her with Your angels, Lord, and let Your peace guard her heart and mind.
We ask for Your healing touch to be upon her body, restoring strength and vitality. Give her comfort in her weakness and assurance of Your presence. Father, we also pray for wisdom and courage for her family to stand firm in faith, rejecting fear and trusting in Your perfect will. Expose any darkness or ungodliness around her, and let Your light shine brightly in this situation.
We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and love. We trust in You alone, knowing that Your plans for her are good and not for harm. May Your will be done in her life, and may Your name be glorified. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue standing in faith, speaking life and God’s promises over your relative. Do not be swayed by the words of others, but hold fast to the truth of God’s Word. If it is His will for her to be healed and restored, nothing can stop that. If it is His will to call her home, we trust that He will do so in His perfect timing and according to His perfect plan. Either way, we know that God works all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28).
May the Lord bless you with peace and strength as you walk this journey, and may He fill your heart with hope as you trust in Him.
