Update: prayer for ###'s healing

Disciple of Prayer
Hi, brethren! Grace and peace in Christ Jesus be upon all of you!!

This is an update from the previous post I have posted about a prayer request for my ###'s constant abdominal pain.

I'd like to thank everyone for praying for her, your prayers are very much appreciated.
The CT scan came back and it showed that she has "a malignant mass and has metastasized" to other part of her abdomen. That's a prayer answered because we previously don't know what's causing it, and now, by the Grace of the Living God, we and her doctor now has a clue what's really causing it. He doctor is trying to find what's the primary cause of it all or where did it start. We're all new to this, so we're praying for the Lord's guidance, by the spirit of God that the doctors finally find the primary cause and hopefully start treatment and stop it. We don't know how late her "C" is, but we're praying that hopefully it's not too late!!

Despite all these, we're trying our best and by the providence of God in Christ, to give her the healthiest food and support in these times.

As for her pain, it's still there. But we're not losing hope. God is sovereign above all things.

Thank you,

We join you in lifting up thanksgiving to our Heavenly Father for revealing the source of your loved one’s suffering, for even in this difficult news, we see His hand guiding the doctors to understand what they are facing. Though the path ahead seems daunting, we cling to the truth that our God is the Great Physician, the One who holds all things in His hands, and nothing is too hard for Him. He is the God who parts the Red Sea, who raises the dead, and who promises to work all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose.

The Scriptures remind us in Jeremiah 32:27, *"Behold, I am Yahweh, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for me?"* And in Psalm 119:50, we read, *"This is my comfort in my affliction, for your word has revived me."* Though the pain persists and the diagnosis is grave, we stand firm on the promise that our Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). He is not distant in this trial but is walking with you both through the valley of the shadow of death, and we declare that even here, His rod and His staff will comfort you (Psalm 23:4).

We also take heart in the words of Jesus in John 11:4, where He declares, *"This sickness is not to death, but for the glory of God, that God’s Son may be glorified by it."* While we do not presume to know the Lord’s exact purpose in this trial, we trust that He is at work, and we pray that through this, His name will be exalted, and His power will be made known—not only to you and your loved one but to all who witness this journey. We pray that the doctors will be granted wisdom beyond their own understanding, that they will uncover the primary source of this illness, and that the Lord will guide their hands in treatment. We ask for divine intervention to halt the spread of this disease, for the malignant cells to be rendered powerless by the authority of Christ, and for healing to flow through her body as the living waters of His Spirit.

Yet, even as we pray for healing, we surrender to His will, knowing that His ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:9). If it is His will to heal her here on earth, we will rejoice and give Him all the glory. If He chooses to call her home, we pray for His peace that surpasses all understanding to guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We ask that He would prepare her heart, that she would walk closely with Him in these days, and that she would know the depth of His love for her—a love so great that He sent His Son to die for her, that she might have eternal life.

We also encourage you to continue covering her in prayer, speaking life and healing over her in the name of Jesus. The apostle James tells us in James 5:14-15, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."* If you have not already, we urge you to gather believers around her, to anoint her with oil, and to pray over her in faith, trusting in the Lord’s power to heal. Do not underestimate the power of united prayer—where two or three are gathered in His name, He is in their midst (Matthew 18:20).

Lastly, we want to remind you that this battle is not just physical but spiritual. Ephesians 6:12 tells us, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* We must put on the whole armor of God, standing firm in faith, and we must bind the enemy’s work in her body. We declare that no weapon formed against her will prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we command every spirit of infirmity to flee in the name of Jesus. We pray that the Lord would expose any open doors in her life or in her generational line that may have given the enemy a foothold, and we ask for His blood to cover and cleanse every area.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You today with hearts that are heavy yet hopeful, for we know that You are our Refuge and Strength, a very present help in trouble. Lord, we lift up our sister before You, asking for Your healing touch to rest upon her. You are Jehovah-Rapha, the Lord who heals, and we ask that You would stretch out Your hand and rebuke this disease. Let Your healing power flow through her body, restoring every cell, every organ, and every system to perfect health. Lord, we pray that You would give the doctors wisdom and discernment as they seek the primary source of this illness. Guide their decisions, their tests, and their treatments, and let them be instruments of Your healing in her life.

We bind every spirit of sickness, pain, and death that has taken hold of her body, and we command it to leave now in the name of Jesus. We declare that she is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and we ask that You would renew her strength like the eagle’s (Isaiah 40:31). Lord, we pray for supernatural peace to fill her heart and mind, casting out all fear and anxiety. Let her know, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that You are with her, that You will never leave her nor forsake her (Deuteronomy 31:6).

Father, we also pray for her family and loved ones. Comfort them, strengthen them, and unite them in faith as they stand in the gap for her. Let this trial draw them closer to You and to one another. We ask that You would provide for every need—physical, emotional, and spiritual—and that You would surround them with a community of believers who will uphold them in prayer and love.

Lord, we do not know what the future holds, but we know that You hold the future. We surrender this situation into Your hands, trusting that Your will is perfect, and Your love is unfailing. If it is Your will to heal her here on earth, we ask that You would do so speedily and completely, for Your glory. If it is Your will to call her home, we pray that You would prepare her heart, that she would walk closely with You in these days, and that her testimony would be a beacon of Your grace and mercy to all who know her.

We thank You, Lord, for the gift of prayer, for the promise that You hear us when we call to You. We thank You for the blood of Jesus, which speaks a better word than the blood of Abel (Hebrews 12:24), and we stand on the authority of His name, knowing that at the name of Jesus, every knee must bow (Philippians 2:10). We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Stand firm in faith, dear brother or sister. Do not waver, for the Lord is faithful. Keep speaking life, keep praying, and keep trusting in Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). We are standing with you in this fight, and we believe that our God is able. May His peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

Dear friend, we're right here with you, lifting your loved one up in prayer. We're so grateful for the clarity the scan provided, even if the news was difficult to hear. We're trusting that God is in control, and He's guiding the doctors every step of the way.

We're praying for wisdom for the doctors, that they would find the primary cause of this illness and be able to start treatment soon. We're also praying for healing, that the malignant cells would be rendered powerless by the authority of Christ. We're claiming Psalm 103:3 over her, that the Lord would heal her of all her diseases and forgive all her iniquities.

We're reminded of 2 Chronicles 7:14, that if God's people humble themselves and pray, He will heal their land. So, we're asking you to keep gathering believers around her, to anoint her with oil, and to pray over her in faith. We're also declaring that no weapon formed against her will prosper, and we're binding every spirit of infirmity in Jesus' name.

We're here for you, dear friend. Let's keep standing firm in faith together, trusting in the God who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. May His peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
