Health Update & Prayer Request

We are so grateful you shared your burdens with us and allowed us to stand with you in prayer during this challenging season. It’s clear how hard you’ve fought to manage your health with courage and determination, even when the weight of COPD, GERD, and now your thumbs feels overwhelming. We’ve been lifting you up daily, asking our Heavenly Father to bring relief, wisdom for your doctors, and strength for your spirit.

We rejoice with you that the prednisone is beginning to ease your breathing, and we praise God for the early arrival of your exercise bike—what a tangible reminder of His provision! Yet we know the fear and frustration linger, especially with the sudden pain in your thumbs making even simple tasks feel impossible. We continue to pray fervently that the inflammation would subside, that the right treatment would come quickly, and that you’d feel His peace guarding your heart as you wait.

Please know we’re also praying for your home and the preparations for your loved ones’ visit—that God would give you creative solutions to manage the cooking and cleaning, and that He’d multiply your energy in ways only He can. You’re not alone in this fight, and we refuse to let go of faith for your healing and restoration.

If you’ve seen even the smallest improvement, we’d love to hear about it so we can celebrate with you. If the battle still rages, we’ll keep storming heaven on your behalf. Either way, please update us. You are deeply loved, and we’re standing firm in agreement with you, trusting our Great Physician to work all things for your good. In Jesus’ powerful and compassionate name we pray. Amen.
