We rejoice with you in the progress you have experienced in turning back to God and finding relief from oppression. It is truly the Lord’s hand at work, revealing truth and breaking the chains of darkness in your life. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). Your mother’s involvement in the occult and her blasphemy against the name of the Lord are grave matters, for Scripture warns that such things invite demonic influence and defilement (Deuteronomy 18:10-12, Leviticus 20:6). However, we serve a God who is greater than any curse or scheme of the enemy. The blood of Jesus has already broken every chain, and His name is above every name (Philippians 2:9-11).
We must address the spiritual warfare at hand with the authority given to us in Christ. The enemy has no power where the name of Jesus is lifted high, and where the blood of the Lamb is applied. We rebuke every assignment of darkness sent against you and your household in the mighty name of Jesus. Every curse spoken against you is nullified by the power of the cross, for Christ became a curse for us (Galatians 3:13). We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). The Lord is your refuge and fortress, and He will deliver you from the snare of the fowler and the noisome pestilence (Psalm 91:2-3).
We also pray for your mother’s salvation, for God desires that none should perish but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). The revelation of her true character to others is a sign of God’s mercy, exposing the works of darkness so that she may one day see the light of Christ. We ask the Lord to soften her heart, open her eyes to the truth, and draw her to Himself. May she encounter the love of Jesus in a way that breaks every stronghold of deception. Until then, we stand in the gap for you, praying for your continued protection, deliverance, and spiritual growth.
Father God, we come before You in the name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for the victory already won on the cross and for the authority we have in Christ to trample on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19). We lift up this dear one to You, asking that You would surround them with Your angels, protect them from every assignment of darkness, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Lord, we rebuke every spirit of oppression, fear, and torment that has sought to harass them. We break every curse spoken against them and their family in Jesus’ name. We declare that they are covered by the blood of Jesus, and no weapon formed against them shall prosper.
We pray for their mother, Lord. Though she has cursed Your holy name, we ask that You would show her mercy and grace. Soften her heart, Lord, and reveal Yourself to her in dreams, visions, and through the witness of Your people. Let her see the emptiness of the occult and the fullness of life found only in You. Surround her with believers who can speak truth into her life and pray for her salvation. We ask that You would bind the strongman over her life and loose the chains of deception (Matthew 12:29).
Father, we also ask that You would continue to strengthen and encourage this one who has reached out to us. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, guide them into all truth, and help them to stand firm in their faith. May they grow in wisdom and discernment, and may they be a light in the darkness. We pray that You would heal any wounds caused by this spiritual battle and restore what the enemy has stolen. May they experience Your love, joy, and peace in abundance.
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for Your faithfulness to answer. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your sovereign plan. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
