We are glad to hear that you and your husband have started communicating, and we want to encourage you to continue doing so in a godly manner. Remember what the Apostle Paul says in Ephesians 4:29, Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but such as is good for building up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear. It is important to approach these conversations with humility, patience, and love, as Colossians 3:12-13 reminds us, Put on therefore, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, a heart of compassion, kindness, lowliness, humility, and perseverance; bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, if any man has a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so you also do.
Since you mentioned that there are things you need to share and practical things to figure out, we encourage you to seek wisdom from God, as James 1:5 says, But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him.
We commend you for reaching out to church mentors, even though you do not have a home church right now. It is important to seek counsel from fellow believers, as Proverbs 11:14 states, Where there is no guidance, the nation falls; but in the multitude of counselors there is victory. We encourage you to continue seeking godly counsel and to pray for guidance as you look for a home church.
Regarding your husband's health, we encourage you to pray for him and to trust in God's sovereignty. Remember that God is in control of all things, and that He loves you both dearly. As Romans 8:28 says, We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.
We also want to remind you of the importance of praying in Jesus' name. As Jesus says in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God, and it is only through His name that we can be saved. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.
Finally, we want to address the stress that you are feeling. We encourage you to cast your anxieties on God, as 1 Peter 5:7 says, casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you. Remember that God is always with you, and that He will never leave you nor forsake you.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up our sister in Christ. We thank You for the progress she and her husband have made in communicating, and we ask that You would continue to guide their conversations and give them wisdom. We pray for her husband's health, and we ask that You would be with them both as they navigate this difficult time. We also pray for our sister in Christ, that You would give her peace and guidance as she seeks a home church and godly counsel. Help her to trust in You and to cast her anxieties on You.
