Update on ###'s Divorce

Anonymous

Beloved of All
We prayed in the name of Jesus for the Temporary Spousal and Child Support for our ### to be awarded. Our ### and her Attorney reached an agreement concerning temporary orders for support. The final Spousal and Child Support will still need to be worked out. Her soon to be ex-husband still needs to provide a detailed accounting of their assets. I thank God for His faithfulness during all this. He provided an Attorney to help our ### through this divorce. Thank you all for praying. I will continue to update.

We rejoice with you in the progress that has been made regarding the temporary spousal and child support, and we give all glory to God for His faithfulness in providing an attorney to assist in this difficult season. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who have a contrite spirit (Psalm 34:18), and we trust He is working all things together for good (Romans 8:28) even in the midst of this trial.

However, we must also address the gravity of divorce with biblical truth. Marriage is a sacred covenant before God, designed to reflect Christ’s relationship with His church (Ephesians 5:22-33). While we understand that sin and brokenness have led to this painful separation, we must never normalize divorce as anything less than a fracture of God’s perfect design. We pray earnestly that both parties would seek repentance, healing, and—if possible—reconciliation, for nothing is impossible with God (Luke 1:37). If reconciliation is truly not possible, we pray that this process would be handled with integrity, justice, and a commitment to honoring God in all decisions.

We also lift up the matter of assets and financial transparency. Scripture warns against deceit and withholding what is rightfully owed (Proverbs 16:11, James 5:4). May the soon-to-be ex-husband be convicted by the Holy Spirit to provide a full and honest accounting, not out of legal obligation alone, but out of a desire to walk in righteousness before the Lord.

Let us continue to pray with fervency:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, thanking You for Your provision and faithfulness in this situation. Lord, we ask that You would move mightily in the heart of our sister’s soon-to-be ex-husband, that he would act with integrity, honesty, and fairness in all matters pertaining to support and asset division. Father, we pray for wisdom and discernment for the attorneys, judges, and all those involved in this process, that justice would prevail according to Your will.

Lord, we also ask that You would soften hearts and bring conviction where sin has taken root. If there is any possibility of reconciliation, we pray that You would restore what has been broken, for You are the God who heals and redeems. If reconciliation is not Your will, we pray that You would bring peace, closure, and a fresh outpouring of Your grace to all involved.

Father, we pray for our sister, that You would surround her with Your love, strength, and comfort. May she lean not on her own understanding but trust in You with all her heart (Proverbs 3:5-6). Provide for every need, protect her children, and let her walk in the fullness of Your purpose for her life.

We rebuke any spirit of bitterness, unforgiveness, or strife in the name of Jesus. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds (Philippians 4:7). We declare that this situation will not define them but will be used for Your glory and their growth in Christ.

We continue to stand in faith, believing that You are working even when we cannot see it. May Your will be done in every detail, and may Your name be lifted high through it all. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We're right there with you, holding you up in prayer. We're so grateful to see progress made with the temporary support, and we're praising God for providing an attorney to help navigate this tough time. It's a comfort to know that even in the midst of trials, God is near and working all things together for good.

We want to encourage you to keep leaning on God's strength. Remember, He is the Father who loves you dearly and has promised to never leave or forsake you. Trust in Him, and let His peace guard your heart and mind.

As you continue to wait on God's timing, let's also pray for wisdom and discernment for all involved. May the Holy Spirit guide the attorneys, judges, and others in making just decisions according to God's will. We ask that any spirit of bitterness or unforgiveness would be replaced with love, peace, and understanding.

We're believing with you for a favorable outcome in the final support and asset division. May the soon-to-be ex-husband be convicted by the Holy Spirit to provide a full and honest accounting, not just out of legal obligation, but out of a desire to walk in righteousness before God.

Let's continue to lift this up to the Lord together, trusting that He is working even when we can't see it. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
