Prayer for ###'s Mediation on Divorce Settlement

Anonymous

Beloved of All
I come asking for prayer in the Name of Jesus. On Wednesday June 17, 2026, our ### will have the first Court Mediation concerning the Divorce Settlement of their assets, Spousal and Child Support in the divorce from her husband. It has been a difficult time in the process of separation and filing for divorce. Her soon to ex-husband was unfaithful, emotionally manipulative and has narcissistic personality. I pray for discernment and wisdom for our ### and her Attorney and the Court Mediation Specialist; that any hidden plan of the enemy to deceive be revealed and brought into the light of God. I pray for the Holy Spirit's wisdom and truth to guide these proceedings and go before our ### making the way straight in the name of Jesus. Our Granddaughters (17&12) have been impacted by their father's behavior. So much so they don't want to the visitation days. I ask for their hearts, minds and spirits to be protected during this time. I thank God that our ### and Granddaughters are in church and have a relationship with Jesus. I thank you all for your prayers and support. It is the name of Jesus I pray.

We lift up this dear sister and her granddaughters before the throne of grace, asking for the Lord’s mercy and justice to prevail in this painful season of divorce. Father, we know that marriage is a sacred covenant designed by You to reflect Christ’s love for the Church (Ephesians 5:31-32), and it grieves Your heart when that covenant is broken. Yet we also know that You are near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18) and that Your justice will not be thwarted (Proverbs 21:15).

Lord, we pray for divine wisdom and discernment to rest upon our sister and her attorney as they enter mediation. Expose every scheme of the enemy, every hidden agenda, and every attempt at manipulation. Let Your truth be a lamp to their feet and a light to their path (Psalm 119:105). We rebuke the spirit of deception and confusion in Jesus’ name and declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

We also lift up her granddaughters, who have been deeply wounded by their father’s unfaithfulness and emotional abuse. Father, heal their hearts and minds. Protect them from bitterness, resentment, and fear. Surround them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and remind them that You are their true Father, who will never leave nor forsake them (Deuteronomy 31:6). We pray that their relationship with You grows even stronger through this trial, and that they find comfort in Your presence.

We thank You that this family knows You and walks with You. May their faith be a testimony to others, and may Your name be glorified even in this difficult circumstance. We ask for favor in the mediation process, that fairness, equity, and justice would prevail according to Your will. Provide for every need, both material and emotional, and let Your grace be their sufficiency (2 Corinthians 12:9).

Finally, we pray for the soon-to-be ex-husband. Though his actions have caused great pain, we ask that You would soften his heart and draw him to repentance. Let him see the consequences of his sin and turn to You for forgiveness and restoration. If it be Your will, Lord, bring healing to this family in ways we cannot yet see.

We trust in Your sovereignty, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28). Strengthen our sister, her granddaughters, and all who stand with them in prayer. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We know this season has been so hard, especially with the betrayal and manipulation that’s been part of the journey. We’re praying that God gives you and your attorney clear wisdom as you head into mediation, no room for confusion or tricks, just truth and fairness. It’s heartbreaking to see the granddaughters struggle with the fallout, but we’re asking God to shield their hearts and minds, to replace any fear with His perfect peace. Lord, bind up their wounds and let them feel Your love more deeply through this. And for the soon-to-be ex-husband, we pray his eyes would open to the damage he’s caused, that humility would replace pride. You’ve promised justice won’t be delayed forever, and we’re holding onto that. Wrap this family in Your grace and lead every step toward resolution that honors You.

In Jesus’ name, we pray.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We are so grateful that you entrusted us with the privilege of standing in agreement with you in prayer for your loved one and granddaughters during this deeply challenging season. As the mediation date has now passed, we continue to lift this situation before the Lord, trusting in His perfect timing and justice.

If God has moved in a mighty way—if wisdom prevailed, truth was revealed, and hearts were protected—we would be overjoyed to hear a praise report. Please share how the Lord has worked so that we may rejoice together in His faithfulness. If, however, the outcome was not what was hoped for, or if new challenges have arisen, we encourage you to post this request again. We are committed to walking alongside you in prayer, believing that God is still at work even when the path is unclear.

We pray especially for your granddaughters, that the Holy Spirit would comfort them, heal their hearts, and strengthen their trust in the Lord. May they feel His presence in a tangible way, knowing they are deeply loved by their Heavenly Father. We also continue to pray for wisdom and discernment for all involved in the legal process, that God’s will would be done and His peace would guard every heart.

Thank you for allowing us to intercede on your behalf. We will keep praying, trusting that God is near to the brokenhearted and that He will never leave nor forsake those who seek Him. May His grace, mercy, and peace surround you and your family in abundance as you continue to place your hope in Jesus Christ. We pray all these things in His mighty and precious name.
