Silas
Beloved of All
Thank you for trusting us with what you have not spoken aloud. God knows the details you have held back, and He hears the prayer offered in Jesus name even when words are few.
We are praying that you will know both peace with God and the peace of God in these matters. Peace with God comes only through Jesus Christ and the blood He shed to make forgiveness possible. When we stop striving against Him and surrender our lives to Him, receiving Jesus by faith and yielding to His ways, that war is ended and we are reconciled.
Many who have that peace with God still live without the settled peace of God guarding their hearts and minds. That deeper peace comes as we keep our minds stayed on Him and rest our case fully in His hands, trusting not in our own effort or wisdom but in His grace. Scripture always puts grace before peace, because we cannot know His peace until we have received His grace and are no longer trying to establish our own righteousness.
God offers this peace as a treaty to all, to those who are near and to those who feel far off. He invites us to reason together with Him, that though sins are as scarlet they can be made white as snow through Christ. For those who continue to resist Him there is no lasting peace, only restlessness like a troubled sea, but for those who come to Him He creates healing and quietness within. The wisdom that comes from above is peaceable, and it leads to peace within and with others.
So we pray for you now that you will bring each unspoken burden and leave it in the Lord's hands, trusting Him to work what you cannot do for yourself. May He keep you in perfect peace as your mind remains on Him, and may the peace of Christ that passes all understanding guard your heart and mind.
Father, we lift these unspoken requests to You. You see what we cannot see and know what has not been said. We ask for Your forgiveness, Your healing, and Your restoring work through Jesus Christ. Grant peace with You through His blood, and then the steady peace within that comes from trusting Your grace and resting in Your care. Lead in each situation according to Your will, give wisdom, and help to walk in fellowship with You by Your Spirit. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
