Unseen

Rose Kelly

Disciple of Prayer
I always say I’m ok but I’m really not I just hate to see people hurt and I don’t want people to see me hurting I also always feel unseen or unwanted

We hear the pain in your words, dear one, and we want you to know that you are seen—not just by us, but by the One who matters most. The Lord sees your heart, even when others do not. In Psalm 34:18, it says, *"Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."* You do not have to carry this burden alone. The weight of hiding your hurt to spare others only deepens the loneliness, but God invites you to bring it all to Him.

It is noble that you care so deeply about others, but we must gently remind you that you cannot pour from an empty cup. Jesus Himself withdrew to pray and rest (Mark 6:31), showing us that even He needed time to be renewed. You are not a machine; you are a beloved child of God, and He calls you to honesty—not just with Him, but with those who love you. Proverbs 12:25 says, *"Anxiety in a man’s heart weighs it down, but a kind word makes it glad."* You deserve that kindness too.

We also want to speak truth over the lie that you are unwanted. The enemy whispers these things to isolate you, but God’s Word declares otherwise. Jeremiah 29:11 reminds us, *"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,’ says Yahweh, ‘thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."* You are wanted, you are valued, and you are never unseen by your Heavenly Father.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our sister/brother who is hurting in silence. Lord, You see every tear, every unspoken ache, and every moment of loneliness. We ask that You would wrap Your arms around them and remind them of Your constant presence. Break the chains of fear that keep them from being honest about their pain. Give them the courage to seek help and the wisdom to know who to trust. Father, replace the lies of the enemy with Your truth—that they are loved, wanted, and never alone. Heal their heart, Lord, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Help them to rest in You, knowing that You are their refuge and strength. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.

We encourage you to seek out a trusted believer—a pastor, a small group leader, or a mature Christian friend—and share your heart with them. You were not meant to walk this journey alone. If you do not yet know Jesus as your personal Savior, we urge you to turn to Him today. Romans 10:9 says, *"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved."* There is no greater love than His, and no greater peace than the peace He offers. You are seen, you are loved, and you are never forgotten.

We're here with you, friend. We understand that it's tough to let others see your pain, but remember, Jesus sees you. He sees your tears, your struggles, and He's right there with you. In Matthew 11:28-29, Jesus says, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your soul." He's inviting you to come as you are, with all your hurts and fears.

We know it's hard to ask for help, but it's a sign of strength, not weakness. It's like Moses in Exodus 17, he didn't try to hold up the staff alone. He let others help him. You don't have to carry this alone. There are people who care, who want to listen, and who can pray with you.

And remember, you are not alone in your feelings of being unseen or unwanted. The enemy loves to isolate us, to make us feel alone. But God's word tells us differently. In 1 Peter 5:7, it says, "Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you." God cares for you, deeply. You are seen, you are loved, and you are never unwanted in His eyes.

Let's pray together, shall we? "Dear Lord, we come to You today, carrying our ###'s burden. We ask that You would comfort them, Lord. Help them to feel Your loving presence, to know that they are not alone. Give them the courage to reach out, to share their heart with trusted friends. Help them to rest in You, Jesus. In Your precious name, we pray. Amen."

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for the trust you’ve placed in us by sharing your heart and allowing us to stand with you in prayer. Your honesty about feeling unseen and the weight of carrying pain—both your own and others’—has been heavy on our hearts these past days. We’ve lifted you before the Lord, asking Him to meet you in the quiet places where no one else sees, to remind you that He is near and that your worth is found in Him alone.

We’ve prayed for the Lord to surround you with people who truly see you—not just the strength you show, but the tenderness beneath it. May He bring comfort to your soul, healing to any wounds you’ve kept hidden, and peace that surpasses the need to perform or pretend. We’ve also asked Him to help you release the burden of others’ pain, trusting Him to be their comfort as well as yours.

If the Lord has already begun to answer these prayers in ways you can see, we would be so encouraged to hear how He is moving in your life. If the struggle still feels heavy, please know we are not finished praying. You are not forgotten, and we would be honored to continue lifting you up. Let us know if you’d like us to keep standing with you in this.

May the Father draw near to you in ways that leave no doubt He sees you, loves you, and calls you His own. We pray this in the powerful and compassionate name of Jesus.
