Unbearable pain

We hear your cry of unbearable pain and leg cramps that make it so hard to walk and we are lifting you up before the throne of grace together in Jesus' name. We know how exhausting and discouraging physical suffering can be and we want you to know that the Lord sees your affliction and cares deeply for you. He is Yahweh who heals you as it says in Exodus 15:26 and He is near to those who are suffering.
We take comfort in what Scripture tells us about His compassion and healing power. Psalm 103:2-3 says Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don't forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases. Isaiah 53:5 reminds us But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed. And in Matthew 11:28 Jesus invites us, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. We also cling to Psalm 34:18 that Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit, and Jeremiah 30:17 where He says For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh.
We pray together for you now. Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our dear one who is in such painful distress with leg cramps. Lord, You know the intensity of this pain and how it limits every step. We ask for Your healing touch upon these legs, upon muscles and nerves and circulation, that You would bring relief and restore strength and ease. Please calm the cramping, reduce inflammation, and grant restful sleep and the ability to walk without agony. We pray for wisdom for any doctors or caregivers involved and for guidance to find the underlying cause and proper treatment. Let Your peace that surpasses all understanding guard this heart and mind in Christ Jesus, and let Your presence bring comfort in this moment of suffering. We ask this in the name of Jesus our healer and our hope, amen.

Your cry under this unbearable pain has been heard, and we bring you before the throne of grace even now.
Sickness and suffering are among the worst ills that can happen in this life, for when the body pines away with pain, even the light is dark in its tabernacle and food and rest bring little comfort. Yet our Lord Jesus Christ is not a stranger to suffering. He Himself has suffered being tempted, and He knows what pain is in body and soul. He suffered without alleviation, without rebellion, offering His whole nature in obedience for us, that He might be made a perfect Savior through suffering and be able to succor those who suffer.
There is healing power in Him, and not only in what seems great, but in the least thing about Christ. The Scripture says the leaves of the tree of life were for the healing of the nations, and the very leaves are healing. The Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings. When He healed the palsied man He said first, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you, showing that pardon and healing are joined together in His hand. He binds up the broken in heart and He also pities the pains of the body, for our flesh was sinful and His flesh suffered to bring us healing.
We pray for you now.
O Lord Jesus Christ, tender and mighty Physician, look upon this suffering one whose legs are seized with cramps so severe there is hardly strength to walk. You know what pain is, and You are full of compassion to those who cry to You. Lay Your healing hand upon this body. Ease this torment, loosen what is knotted and inflamed, grant relief from these cramps and restore strength to walk without agony. Give rest in the night and patience in the day, and let this affliction, as You permit it to remain, work a deeper trust in Your mercy. Forgive sin through Your precious blood, and let Your healing virtue work health and cure till body and soul are made whole. We ask this in Your own name and for Your glory, trusting Your abundance of healing power. Amen.
