We hear the deep anguish in your cry and we are standing with you in prayer together in Jesus name. You have shared that your prayers feel unanswered and that the pain is so unbearable that you can hardly breathe, that you feel like giving up and even asking the Father to call you home soon. We want you to know you are not alone and you are dearly loved by God even in this dark valley where it feels like no answer is coming.

We want to gently and lovingly speak truth to the desire to leave this world. Your life is precious to God and He has created you with purpose. It is not His will for you to hasten the day He calls you home, for our times are in His hands alone. The very fact that you say you just want to live even for a single moment shows the God given desire for life that He has placed within you, and we pray with you for that life, for breath, for hope, and for relief from this crushing pain. The Lord is near to those who are brokenhearted. Psalm 34:18 says Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Psalm 61:2 says When my heart is overwhelmed, lead me to the rock that is higher than I. 1 Peter 5:7 says casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you.

Unanswered prayer does not mean unheard prayer. Sometimes God answers with wait, and His timing and His ways are higher than ours. Lamentations 3:22-23 says It is because of Yahweh's loving kindnesses that we are not consumed, because his compassion doesn't fail. They are new every morning. Great is your faithfulness. Isaiah 55:8-9 reminds us that His thoughts and His ways are higher than ours. Romans 8:28 says We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose. Jeremiah 29:11 says For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. Even when we cannot see the answer, He is working for our good and His glory, and He calls us to wait on Him. Psalm 27:14 says Wait for Yahweh. Be strong, and let your heart take courage. Yes, wait for Yahweh.

We also notice you spoke of Father Lord but did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to lovingly share that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and that we are saved. There is no other name by which we can come to God or be saved. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Romans 10:9 says that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust fully in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, to confess your sins and believe on Him, for He alone is our hope and our intercessor.

We pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this precious soul who is broken and weary and feels unable to take another breath. Lord You see the tears and hear the cries that feel unanswered. We ask You to reveal Your presence in a powerful way, to wrap Your arms of love around this heart and give peace that surpasses understanding. Take away the spirit of despair and hopelessness and replace it with Your hope and strength. Lord we rebuke the lie that leaving this world is the answer, for You have given life and You have purpose for every day You grant. We pray for life, not death, for healing of the broken heart, for breath and strength for each moment. Isaiah 41:10 says Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Let that promise be real today. Give courage to wait on You, to keep praying and not give up, and to reach out for help. Lead this dear one to a trusted pastor, a godly counselor, a mature believer, or a family member who can walk closely in this valley and provide support and care each day. Help them to keep their eyes on Jesus, who endured suffering and who understands our pain. We ask for Your will to be done, for answers in Your perfect time, and for a renewed desire to live for Your glory. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray, amen.

We encourage you to keep pouring out your heart to God honestly as the psalmists did, to stay in His Word daily even when it feels hard, and to not walk through this alone. Please reach out right away to a pastor, a Christian counselor, or a trusted believer near you, and if the thoughts to leave this world grow stronger please reach out immediately to someone you trust or to a crisis help line in your area. God wants you to live and He is with you in this pain. We will continue to pray fervently for you that God will lift this heavy burden, answer according to His perfect mercy, and give you strength to live not just for a single moment but for all the days He has ordained for you. Psalm 42:11 says Why are you in despair, my soul? Why are you disturbed within me? Hope in God! For I shall still praise him, the saving help of my countenance, and my God.

Your sorrowful words have been read with much prayer and heaviness of heart, and they have not been set aside. The pain you describe, that every breath feels hard and every second brings breaking, is heard before the Lord and before those who now bear you up in prayer.

Do not think that because an answer has not yet come, your prayer has not been heard. Unanswered petitions are not unheard. God keeps a file for our prayers. They are not blown away by the wind, they are treasured in the King's archives, and there is a registry in the court of Heaven where every sigh and tear is recorded. Brethren must not take delays in prayer for denial. God's long dated bills will be punctually honored. Sincere prayer may often be very feeble to us, but it is always acceptable to God.

There are seasons when the Lord keeps us waiting, not to cast us away, but to strengthen us. He is strengthening your muscles and sinews by the arduous exercise of waiting, that you may be made more useful and more rooted in Him in the time to come. At other times He would have us search our hearts, not to condemn but to be cleansed, for sometimes there is sin harbored that needs confessing, and sometimes our very prayers need washing in the blood of Christ. Bring all of this honestly to Him, for He hears the confession of the humble.

Yet hear this also with all the tenderness that can be spoken. To say there is no hope and to desire to leave this world is an unwarrantable word. It goes beyond the truth of God, for God Himself is the sinner's hope and He is not lost. While we have God we have hope, and while we have hope we have life. As one has said, while I hope I breathe, and while I breathe I hope. Despair is not a sickness only of the understanding but a sin of the soul that would rob God of His power to deliver, and no man has a just pretense to perish in despair. Your life lies in hope, and your hope lies in Christ.

Therefore hope on, poor soul, and hope on forever. As long as there is a place of prayer and a promise of an answer, no believer ought to give way to despair. Hope you in God, for you shall yet praise Him who is the strength of your life and your portion forever. The dawn succeeds the darkest hour of the night, and He often brings us to that dark hour where every hope born of human confidence is covered, that He may appear in His brightness.

We will not pray as you asked that the Father may call you soon, for that would be to ask what God forbids, and we are bidden to choose life and to hope in Him. Instead we will pray fervently for you as you desired, but to this end, that the Lord would quicken you in His way, sustain your breath, lift the crushing weight, forgive your sin through the blood of Jesus Christ alone, and give you a good hope of eternal life through believing in Him. Intercessory prayer is the sweetest prayer God ever hears and it is exceedingly prevalent, and we will plead for you that He would keep you from evil, turn your mourning into dancing, and bring you up again rejoicing.

Keep praying, and pray with all fervency, spreading your case before Him and pressing your suit with the arguments of His own promises in Christ. Go at once and tell your burden to a faithful pastor, to a mature believer near you, to family or a trusted friend, and seek help from those who can walk with you day by day. If you feel you may act upon these thoughts, please go without delay to someone with you now, or to medical help, and if you are in immediate danger call emergency services or a trusted helpline in your country. Do not remain alone with these thoughts.

You asked for a single moment of life. Christ came that you might have life, and have it more abundantly, not for a moment only but forever. Look to Him now, as you are, weary and broken, for He has blotted out sin like a cloud for all who trust Him, and He hears the feeblest cry. Stay before Him. Let others stay with you. We are praying that you will live, and that you will yet praise Him.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your words have been heard, and the depth of pain in them is not overlooked. To feel that every breath is hard, to feel broken apart and without answer, is a heavy burden to carry, and we grieve with you in it. Thank you for letting this be known so that others can pray for you and stand with you.

We will not pray that God would call you away soon, because your life is precious to Him and to those around you. Instead we will pray fervently that He will draw near to you now, sustain you in this hour, give you strength to take the next breath, and bring you comfort and hope through Jesus Christ, in whom alone we have salvation and life.

When prayer seems unanswered, it does not mean it is unheard. Scripture teaches us to pray at all seasons and without ceasing, to watch and persevere. We are reminded of the widow who by her persistence prevailed, of the friend who at midnight kept knocking until the door was opened, and of the Syrophoenician woman who by constancy in asking received mercy. Even when we feel unworthy, perseverance in coming to God is honored, and He often grants what persistence seeks. God hears and He answers according to His wisdom and love, even when His timing feels long to us.

Despair is a dangerous burden, more harmful even than the wounds that caused it. One who has fallen can rise again through repentance and hope, but despair tells us there is no rising. The enemy never despairs of our destruction, and it would be a great sorrow if we were to despair of our own salvation when God has not despaired of us. Do not give up hope. Though you feel you have no strength, God is able to minister strength, to renew and to keep you.

You do not need to carry this alone. The prayers of others can do great things. When Peter was in prison the church prayed earnestly for him. In the same way we are praying for you now, and we urge you to let others near you pray for you and walk with you as well. Please reach out today to someone you trust, a pastor, a family member, a friend, or a counselor, and do not remain alone with these thoughts. If you feel you may act on the desire to leave this world, please seek help right away from a trusted person near you or a local crisis helpline in your area, or go to your nearest emergency department. If you can, tell someone where you are and how you feel right now.

We are praying that God will lift the weight you feel, ease the heartbreak that makes breathing so hard, and give you even a moment of real life and peace, and then another, and another. We pray that He will show you His presence, surround you with people who will support you, and lead you to hope that does not disappoint. We pray that He will help you to endure, to keep praying, and to receive His mercy and comfort day by day.

You are not forgotten. Please stay, please keep reaching out, and please allow others to help you bear this. We will continue to pray for you with perseverance.
