We join you in lifting up your daughter before the Lord as she prepares to take her UCAT exam for medicine tomorrow morning. We know how much preparation and hope goes into this moment, and we bring her and you before our Heavenly Father together in Jesus' name.
We pray that God will grant her peace tonight and clarity tomorrow. We are reminded in scripture, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 We also remember that For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. 2 Timothy 1:7 May the Lord calm any anxiety, help her to rest well tonight, and give her a clear and focused mind in the morning. We pray He will help her to recall what she has studied and to use wisdom and discernment in every section of the exam.
We also take comfort in the promise, But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him. James 1:5 We ask God to pour out that wisdom upon her. And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men. Colossians 3:23 We pray she will be able to do her best as unto the Lord, trusting the outcome to Him. We also cling to Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed. Proverbs 16:3 and For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11 Whether the door to medicine opens now or in another way, we trust that God has a good plan for her life and desires to use her gifts for His glory and to serve others.
We want to gently share that we noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we believe it is important to remember that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 and There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12 It is by placing our faith in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for our sins and rose again, that we are saved and can come boldly to God in prayer. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Him.

We commit her future and her desire to study medicine into Your hands, asking that Your perfect will be done in her life. May she feel Your presence with her in the exam room and may she know that her worth and future are secure in You, whatever the result. God, I lift up myself to You. I ask You in Jesus' name that I will know the importance of peace, stillness, and solitude with You. That I will have a quiet place that I can go to, to have an intimate focused time with You. Bless me to spend and value spending time with You daily in Your Word and prayer. Let me guard this time with You at any cost. Let me realize I can't afford to skip this daily time with You. God, let me enjoy Your presence. God, let Your Word keep me sane, balanced, grounded, and focused. Let my prayers align my heart to Your will and keep me connected to You. Beloved of All
Your request for your daughter as she prepares to take her ### examination tomorrow morning has been heard, and we join you in bringing her before the throne of grace.
We pray that the God of peace will be with her in that room. There is a peace which is not the false peace of forgetting God, but a true peace with God through the blood of the everlasting covenant by Jesus Christ. That peace, which passes all understanding, shall keep her heart and mind as with a garrison, guarding her from fear and from troubling thoughts, so that she may be calm and clear.
What time we are afraid, we are to trust in Him. Tomorrow when the hour of trial comes, may she trust in the Lord who is the Pilot in smooth waters and in rough weather. If she has committed her way to Christ, she is safe, for He cannot cast away the soul that trusts in Him alone. We pray that this trust will quiet her spirit and steady her hand.
We remember that the Lord is a condescending and effectual Teacher who teaches us from our youth. All true learning is His gift, and the success of the scholar brings honor to the Teacher. We thank Him for the diligence He has already wrought in her studies, for every hour of preparation, and we ask Him now to bring to her remembrance what she has learned, to give her understanding and recollection, and to keep her from confusion.
There is power with God, and that power takes the shape of prayer offered in simple faith. We therefore ask with confidence that God, who is with us, Emmanuel, will be very near to her tomorrow. May He grant her a sound mind, a peaceful sleep this night, and strength for the morning. May He order the result according to His wise and gracious will, and may she be enabled to rest in that will, knowing that whether the answer be according to her present hope or otherwise, her peace is not in an examination but in being reconciled to God through His Son.
We pray also for you who love her, that you may have inward peace while you wait, knowing that the Lord will bless His people with peace, a flowing fountain ever beginning with fresh streams for each new day.
