Dear Lord Jesus, I’m not trying to sound arrogant and mean, but it would mean a lot to me to just have a small TV spot or even a big one this year before my next birthday by the end of the year. It makes me really happy, especially after all that I’ve went through losing my job being discriminated in this not so great work environment that bugs, my autism And Stuck living with my parents and getting haircuts I know I have good things in life too like Eagle Scout and a bachelor of science college but I’m getting bored and lonely and stuck as a bachelor so please help me Lord. It would mean a lot to me and then the following years to move my way up. Please do this for me. Let it be your well that it can be done. I have standards of where I want and what I don’t want because I know you’re a big superstar there’s trade-offs of the bad people following you with cameras everywhere doing bad things they’re sinful and secular science and forced to go with the wrong crowd. See, I wanna make a biblical puppet show to be able to show on national TV recruit many other people so they can have their breaks too, so I can have a small form not a large form. It may be a somewhat good amount, but nothing like a big superstar and be iconic Unless you say so and you say I can do it and I should if you say so only if you say I should, that’s what I mean but keeping it more to the hidden I feel is better and compensate and I feel that a lot of people in the future could I can help revolutionize the job industry along with other people doing it though, I may never receive credit. Please let this work do this for me to make me happy. And I’m trying to be frugal and save my money OK no fancy vacations or sports cars or yet so I would like to move back to my nice apartment for just a little while over the summer. Maybe not next summer but the following then move out and get married or date and then get married. I am very lonely. The way I can see what I want on TV. It’s like a person who lives in a shack or a small sort of rustic house. I would like a better somewhat bigger just enough space and comfy and cozy. Maybe no roof leak leaking or pest but doesn’t ask for a mansion or estate I’m out in the sun cleaning up after animals and it’s been like that several places I’ve worked at Sue whenever I wanted to try to do presentations and shade your areas I got yelled at and harassed and nearly killed Hilton in the sun. I’m already being bit by bugs attacked by the sun and I don’t wanna continue just doing Zoo work, but if I could hybridize and have this podcasting voiceover puppetry And let other people join me who suffer with disabilities this world would be a happier place, but I’d like to land the TV spot before my next birthday would be a great birthday present for me and help other people. Here is a real world reflection. OK when I was stuck cleaning up after animals and doing presentations in the sun, my colleagues who were slackers wouldn’t talk about conservation. They had to do presentations and they got to go on off sites and being shaded while I was nearly dying, despite being said to be the only person who talk conservation which was key Yeah, I’m just stuck being a zookeeper. I won’t be able to spread the gospel and share and do things to help other people and other people will not be able to make it to their goals either and be just they just want a little bit of shine, that’s all we ask Think of it like a Looney Tunes episode when speedy wanted just a drop of water for him and his fellow mice but Daffy refused and that’s what I asked to go on one offsite and I was declined threatened now I’m just asking to get a little bit of a star shine And I’m not getting anything. Please help me get there. In Jesus Name Amen

We hear your heart, and we understand the deep longing for purpose, recognition, and joy in your life. You’ve faced hardships, discrimination, loneliness, and the frustration of feeling stuck in circumstances that don’t align with your gifts or calling. We want to lift you up in prayer and speak truth over your situation, trusting that God sees your struggles and has a plan for your good.

First, we must address the foundation of your request. You’ve called on the name of Jesus, and that is the right starting point, for there is no other name by which we can approach God (Acts 4:12). Salvation comes through faith in Christ alone, and it’s through Him that we find true fulfillment, not in worldly success or recognition. We encourage you to keep your eyes fixed on Him, for He promises to supply all your needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). The desire for a TV spot or career breakthrough is understandable, but we must surrender those desires to God’s will, trusting that He knows what is best for you. As Jesus taught, "Seek first God’s Kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you" (Matthew 6:33).

We also want to gently address the loneliness you’ve expressed. While it’s natural to long for companionship, we must emphasize that God’s design for marriage is between one man and one woman, and it is a sacred covenant meant to reflect Christ’s love for the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). If you’re seeking a spouse, we encourage you to pursue godly relationships with believers who share your faith and values, with marriage as the ultimate goal. Courtship should be honorable and pure, avoiding any form of sexual immorality (1 Thessalonians 4:3-5). We pray that God would bring the right person into your life at the right time, someone who will walk alongside you in faith and purpose.

Now, let’s pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother who is feeling stuck, lonely, and longing for purpose. Lord, You see his heart, his desire to use his gifts for Your glory, to create something meaningful, and to find joy in his work. We ask that You would open doors of opportunity for him, not for his own fame, but for Your kingdom’s sake. Give him wisdom and discernment as he seeks to honor You in his career and relationships.

Father, we rebuke the spirit of discouragement and loneliness that has weighed on him. Remind him that he is never alone, for You are with him always (Matthew 28:20). Heal the wounds of past rejection and discrimination, and replace them with Your peace. Help him to trust in Your timing, knowing that You have a plan for his life, one that is good and filled with hope (Jeremiah 29:11).

Lord, we pray for his desire to create a biblical puppet show. If this is Your will, provide the platform, resources, and collaborators he needs to bring it to life. Let it be a tool for sharing Your truth and bringing joy to others, especially those who feel overlooked or marginalized. If this is not the path You have for him, reveal the next step clearly, and give him the courage to walk in it.

Father, we also pray for his living situation. Provide a home that is safe, comfortable, and free from the burdens he’s known, whether pests, leaks, or the weight of feeling trapped. Give him favor with those who can help him transition into a better season, whether that’s returning to his apartment or finding a new place that suits his needs.

Lastly, Lord, we ask that You would fill the void of loneliness in his heart. Whether through friendship, mentorship, or a future spouse, surround him with believers who will encourage him in his faith and walk with him in community. Let him experience the joy of Your presence, which is the true source of fulfillment.

We trust You, Father, to work all things together for his good (Romans 8:28). May he find his worth and identity in You alone, and may his life bring glory to Your name. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to keep seeking God’s will above all else. The world often measures success by fame, wealth, or comfort, but God measures it by faithfulness and obedience. You have a unique calling, and we believe God wants to use your creativity, passion for conservation, and heart for others in ways you may not yet see. Keep serving Him where you are, and trust that He will lead you into the next season of your life. As you wait, focus on stewarding the gifts He’s given you, whether that’s through volunteering, creating content, or simply being a light to those around you. God sees your efforts, and He will not forget them (Hebrews 6:10).

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, remember the words of Psalm 37:4-5: "Also delight yourself in Yahweh, and He will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in Him, and He will do this." Delight in Him first, and He will align your desires with His perfect will. You are not forgotten, and your story is not over. Keep pressing into Him.

We hear you, that deep ache of wanting something good to happen, a little “star shine” after seasons of feeling stuck and overlooked. Your desire to create a biblical puppet show, to give others with disabilities a chance to share their gifts, and to spread the gospel in a joyful way … that’s a beautiful, God‑honoring dream. You’ve worked hard, earned your Eagle Scout and your degree, and you long to use those strengths for something more than just getting by. That desire isn’t trivial to God.

It’s painful when your efforts feel invisible, when you were left in the sun while others got the shade, metaphorically and literally. And the loneliness, of being single, of living at home, of not yet seeing the path forward, is heavy. We don’t want to brush past that. Even Elijah, a bold prophet, once found himself alone in a cave, exhausted and ready to give up. God didn’t scold him; He fed him, let him rest, and gently renewed his purpose. He sees you, too, in this waiting room.

What we can say is that God often begins big things in hidden, small‑seeming steps. Maybe right now that looks like recording a short puppet video for your church or a local disability ministry, or starting a simple podcast. Not the TV spot yet, but a faithful planting of seeds. Those small acts can ease the boredom, build connections, and even bring a little of that joy you’re longing for right now. Your Eagle Scout persistence isn’t wasted; it’s exactly what will carry this dream, step by step.

We’re praying with you:

Lord Jesus, You know the loneliness and the longing in this man’s heart. Thank You for his creativity, his compassion for others who struggle, and his desire to honor You. Please comfort him with Your nearness today, right in the middle of the boring days and the hard memories. Guide his next small steps. Open doors for him to use his gifts, in Your timing, and bring trusted friends alongside him who share his vision. And if it’s Your kind will, we ask boldly for a door to open toward that TV spot, all for Your glory. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.

My dear friend, I have read your outpouring of heart before the throne of grace, and I do not count it arrogance that you bring your desires to the Lord, for He bids us cast all our care upon Him. Yet I must speak plainly with you as a shepherd of souls, for your request carries with it much that needs to be weighed in the balances of the sanctuary.

You speak of loneliness, of being misunderstood and set upon by the heat of the day while others seemed to find shade. Remember that your Master trod the winepress alone, and of the people there were none with Him. His own disciples forsook Him and fled, and in His hour of deepest anguish no sympathetic cry attended His prayer. Shall the servant be above his Lord? I do not say this to bruise your already wounded spirit, but to pour in the oil of holy consolation. When you feel that even those who should have defended you turned aside, know that Christ has gone before you in that lonely path, and His sympathy is no distant thing but the nearness of a tried Friend.

You have set your hope upon a television spot and a puppet show for the gospel. Such a desire, if the Lord truly plants it and brings it to pass in His own way, may be used for His glory. But examine carefully whether this has become an idol in the heart, a thing you grip so tightly that if it were taken away you would charge God foolishly. Our text in Job teaches us that when the Lord turned his captivity, it was not when Job clamoured for his own vindication, but when he prayed for his friends. Intercessory prayer was the bow in the cloud, the dove of peace. I would gently ask: in all your planning for this television work, have you first set yourself to pray for those who have wronged you? For those slacking colleagues and harsh overseers? Have you wept for them as Job wept for those in trouble? The secret spot of the true child of God is not found in outward successes, nor in the glitter of a public work, but in a heart that loves its enemies and intercedes even for the miserable comforters.

You speak rightly of wanting to help other sufferers, to let those with disabilities join you. That is a tender and noble impulse, and I see in it the marks of genuine sympathy. Job could say, "Did not I weep for him that was in trouble? was not my soul grieved for the poor?" Yet mark well that the chief end of man is not to shine a little in this world, but to glorify God and enjoy Him forever. If your happiness depends upon a birthday gift of public recognition, I fear you shall find the thing as hollow as all earthly glories are. Do you not know that the glory of man is as the flower of the field? The worm of disappointment feeds at the root of every worldly ambition. The path of the true servant is often through the dust and the din, with no trumpet before him. To go through life without calumny is not to be expected; to go through life without sinning under trial, that is the aim. Adversity, however it masquerades as our foe, is often our truest friend.

You have endured much: the loss of a job, the sting of discrimination, the weariness of your condition. In all this you have not cursed God, and I honour that. Yet I hear in your words a note of bargaining, as if to say, "Lord, I have suffered, now give me this." But what if the Lord sees fit to withhold it? What if He slays your hope entirely? Will you then trust Him still? That is the ultimate question. The hypocrite and the worldling give up when God smites, but the true-born child of God clings to Him with all the energy of his soul and says, "Though He slay me, yet will I trust in Him." Have you that faith? If the television spot never comes, if you are called to continue cleaning after animals for years yet, if you remain a bachelor and dwell in a humble place, will Christ be enough for you? That is the secret spot of the elect: they want Christ and nothing else if He sees fit to give nothing else.

Do not misunderstand me. I am not saying your desire is sinful in itself. A biblical puppet show may well be a fine instrument for teaching truth to little ones. But the way you speak of it as the thing that will make you happy, as the compensation for your trials, as the cure for your loneliness, this gives me pause. No created thing can bear the weight of your soul's needs. Only Jesus can satisfy. And often He strips us of other comforts that we may learn to say, "Whom have I in heaven but thee? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee."

I counsel you, dear friend, to seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness. Let your prayer be less about a spot on television and more about a spot in the true church, a place of humble, hidden service where souls are truly won. Go on with your puppet work if the door opens, but hold it loosely. Give yourself to prayer for your enemies, to sympathy for the poor in spirit, to the cultivation of a meek and quiet heart which is in the sight of God of great price. If a suitable wife is to be found, seek her not for mere relief from loneliness, but that you two together might serve the Lord with one heart and mouth. But if you remain unmarried, know that your Lord can satisfy the solitary and set you in families of His own appointing.

As for the injustice you suffered in the workplace, I do not minimize it. It is hard to toil in the sun while others lounge in shade, to see the slackers preferred while the faithful servant is overlooked. Yet consider Him who endured such contradiction of sinners against Himself, lest you be wearied and faint in your minds. And beware lest bitterness take root. Speak of your former colleagues not with lingering resentment but with a pity borrowed from your Master's heart. Pray for them.

Now I must touch briefly on something that stirred my concern. You spoke of standards and of keeping away from 'bad people,' those whom you called sinful and secular. Guard your own purity, indeed. Flee youthful lusts. But remember that the Lord Jesus was known as a friend of publicans and sinners. The whole need not the physician. Your puppet show, if it ever comes to be, must not become a fortress of self-righteousness but a hospital for the sin-sick. And if the Lord in His providence keeps you in humble, outdoor toil among people who are rough and ungodly, that may be your true pulpit, and the fragrance of a patient, gracious life your most powerful sermon.

I leave you with this: do not fret over tomorrow's death or tomorrow's life. Job made a mistake about the date of his own death, but he did not mistake the fact. You are mortal; your birthday may come or it may not, but these things are with God. It is no aim of a brave believer either to court death or to dread it, but to run his race well until the tape is broken. Let your expectation be from the Lord, not from television executives. Keep your heart with all diligence. Let frugality and purity mark your life. But above all, seek to know the love of Christ which passeth knowledge, and you shall be filled with all the fulness of God, with or without the public eye upon you.

I do not dismiss your prayer; I only place it upon the altar and bid you wait. God may grant it exactly as asked; He may deny it in kindness; He may transform it into something better. In any case, be satisfied with His will. Your true birthday gift is the enduring promise that when He has tried you, you shall come forth as gold.

Go now, and in your secret place pour out your heart afresh, but with this resolution: "Nevertheless, not as I will, but as thou wilt." And when you have done that, go and do some humble good to another, for active service often lifts the clouds better than solitary brooding.

The Lord bless thee and keep thee. The Lord make His face shine upon thee and be gracious unto thee. The Lord lift up His countenance upon thee and give thee peace.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You come asking for a little star-shine, a small TV spot to ease your loneliness and make you happy after much suffering. You have endured injustice, heat, and biting insects, while others slacked and denied you even the shade. Your cry is like Speedy Gonzales begging a drop of water. But hear this carefully: the water you thirst for may be the very thing that leaves you parched. For our Lord did not bless those who seek a spotlight, even a modest one. He blessed the poor in spirit, the ones utterly broken and trembling at His words. Many kinds of humility there are, and He calls us to that which is contrite, lowly beyond all measure. He means them who are awestruck, who count themselves nothing. This is the sacrifice God will not despise.

I see in your letter a soul that has been wronged and worn down, and I do not mock your pain. Yet woven through your request is a thread of self-will: you speak of your standards, what you want and do not want, your plans to recruit others, to revolutionize everything, to land the spot before your birthday. You picture a cozy house without pests, and a path to marriage. But the blessed Paul, a prisoner in the Lord, called himself the very least, and taught us to walk with all lowliness and meekness, not only in deeds but in bearing and voice. He aimed not at esteem but at the salvation of those he served. A teacher is no tyrant seeking a stage; he is a servant. If God grants you this puppetry, will you accept it if your name is never known, if you remain hidden, if you receive no thanks? That is the lowliness of which I speak.

You feel stuck as a bachelor, bored and lonely. Yet where is the faith that goes beyond human reasonings? The Israelites believed and passed through the sea, but they also feared punishment. Faith does not demand a preview of the deliverance. It trusts that even the sun beating down, even the slights of colleagues, even the years of waiting, are the Red Sea through which God leads you. Do not despise the zoo work, the animal refuse, the sun-scorched skin, these may be the very tools that grind your spirit into that contrite heart which God accepts.

Do you wish to help those with disabilities? Then begin without the cameras. Be lowly among them now. The devil, the ruler of the darkness of this world, seeks to persuade you that your life cannot be fruitful unless you have a platform. He has nothing in Christ, and nothing in you if you cling to Christ. But if you set your joy on a TV spot as a birthday present, you risk staining your soul with a spot and wrinkle, for even small desires held too tightly can defile the purity He cleansed with His blood.

I do not say your wish is evil in itself. I say: examine whether you would serve Him with all lowliness if the answer is no. Seek first the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace, peace with your parents, patience with your present labor, meekness with those who harassed you. Guard against bitterness. If then, in His time and for His glory alone, He opens a door, let it be without frantic clamoring. Offer to Him a broken spirit, and let the TV spot or the hidden life be as He wills. Pray instead: “Lord, make me truly poor in spirit. Let me tremble at Your words more than I tremble at being forgotten. Give me to love You whether I am a zookeeper or a puppeteer, known or obscure.” That is the drop of water that will never run dry. May He grant you this, and through it, the only happiness that endures. Amen.
