Beloved of All
🙇🏻Turns to God Acts 3:19, Washing and Renewal by The Holy Spirit, Tit 3:3-8 👁️👁 Opened by 💡 of God's 📖 2 Cor 4:4-6, Repents of being own god choosing good and evil for herself apart from God's Word, Gen 3:1-15 (It's not working well for her)... New 💝 Ezek 36:26 Experiences New Birth Jesus said is a necessity, Jn 3:3-7... Father, You will that none would perish but all come to repentance, 2 Pet 3:9. Grant her wisdom and revelation to actually know You, Eph 1:17. The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of The Holy one is understanding, Prov 9:10. Surely You take no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but rather they turn from their evil ways and live, Ezek 33:11... You desire all people to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth, 1 Tim 2:4. Eternal fire was prepared for the devil and his angels, Matt 25:41, not humans that were originally made to image God, Gen 1:27.

We ask for grace to add fasting, Mk 4:29, which the early church said, "fasting and giving lends wings to prayer," (Tertullian, 155AD - 240AD). Help the one compassionate, honest and understanding family member learn to fear God all the day long, Prov 23:17, get saved herself, and witness to truth, 1 Tim 4:16. Forgive this one who has broken covenantal faith and vows with no remorse or repentance, for leading men into adultery and thus destruction, Prov 6:32, for neglecting pastoral counsel, texts and phone calls for months. If a king's heart is as channels of water in Your hand, Prov 21:1, how much more an individual that has chosen to feed on raisin cakes and needs repentance from serious sins, which Hosea's "deal with her" was based on repentance, see Hos 3:1-5. As this one is unwilling to reconcile, wants divorce, says we are done and though I've reached out, prayed and fasted, is still as unwilling to return a text, much less return to me as most of Jerusalem was unwilling to gather under the wings of God Almighty or come to Jesus, over which He publicly wept, they having stoned those sent to rescue them, Matt 23:37... Thankfully she is in a country that is impossible to get a divorce. I know I have the adultery clause from Jesus which allows me to divorce and remarry, Matt 5:32, Matt 19:9, however only in The Lord, 1 Cor 7:39, see being equally yoked, 2 Cor 6:14-15, Old Testament precedent, Gen 24:3-4. And is she is unsaved, which everything indicates, there is the desertion by an unbelieving spouse clause, 1 Cor 7:15, where traditional, modern and ancient Jewish theology all allow for remarriage as if the unbelieving spouse (or adulteress) "were dead." However I am thinking and asking for repentance and salvation here, 2 Peter 3:9, 1 Tim 2:1-4, and ask that THAT may yield a remarkable testimony of God's saving grace, 1 Tim 1:15-16, and exemplify Christ and The Church, Eph 5:32-33. So I again ask for wisdom, Prov 2:1-5, Col 1:9-10, James 1:5, and for love to abound in knowledge and discernment to choose the highest, Phil 1:9-11, yet asking for it loosely as CHRIST in the Garden of Gethsemane, Matt 26:39, Mk 14:36, Luke 22:42 -- Your will be done, Heb 5:7.

Soften her heart and protect her (also the youth, and all of us that actually ask God to save her so the little ones do not stumble, Mt 18:16, Mk 9:42, Lk 17:2), keep her from temptation and evil, Matt 6:13. Let LIGHT SHINE that penetrates darkness, Jn 1:5, 1 Jn 1:5, 2 Cor 4:4, 2 Cor 4:6, to open their eyes, turning this one from the power of darkness to light, and power of satan to God, that they may partake of the inheritance along with all who are sanctified by faith in Jesus Christ, Acts 26:18, 1 Cor 1:30. Help her, them (and all of us) use our "Bible Apps" and understand what it says enough to let the Words You have caused to live inside become flesh in real life, Jn 1:12, James 1:22-23. Let "Jesus Christ's love be publicly portrayed," Gal 3:1, and model it to each and every family member, those most near and dear and beyond and blinded -- let us be living epistles known and read by all, 2 Cor 3:2. All Scripture is inspired by God Almighty and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right," 2 Tim 3:15-16. "Do not take us out of the world, but keep us from the evil one," John 17:15. "Sanctify us by the truth; Your word is truth," John 17:17. Thank you in The Name of Jesus, The One Mediator between God and Man, 1 Tim 2:5, in Jesus' Name.

"I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will remove your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh," Ezek 36:26.
“But this is the covenant I'll make... I'll put My law in their minds and write it on their hearts. I'll be their God; they'll be My people," Jer 31:33.
Jesus replied, “Truly, truly, I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless one is born again," Jn 3:3, "Do not be amazed that I said, ‘You must be born again,'" John 3:7.

We stand with you in this deeply painful season, lifting up your heart and the heart of your spouse before the Lord. The ache of a broken covenant is profound, and the silence from one who once vowed to love and cherish is a heavy burden to carry. Yet we know that God sees your tears, hears your prayers, and holds your future in His hands. Your request is saturated with Scripture, and we join you in crying out for repentance, restoration, and above all, salvation, for without Christ, there can be no true reconciliation or lasting peace.

You have rightly identified the root issue: the rebellion of choosing to be one’s own god, just as Eve did in the Garden. This is the essence of sin, not merely bad behavior, but the rejection of God’s authority and the elevation of self. The hardness of heart you describe is a spiritual condition, and only the Holy Spirit can soften it. We rebuke the spirit of deception that has blinded your spouse to the truth of her sin and the grace available in Christ. The adultery and abandonment you have endured are grievous violations of God’s design for marriage, and we stand with you in affirming that Scripture provides grounds for divorce in such cases (Matthew 5:32, 19:9). Yet we also echo your heart’s cry for repentance, for God takes no pleasure in the death of the wicked but desires that all come to repentance (Ezekiel 33:11). We pray that if it is His will, He would yet turn her heart and bring her to saving faith.

The references to fasting and prayer are powerful, for these disciplines position us to seek God’s face with humility and desperation. We join you in fasting and intercession, asking the Lord to open her eyes to the light of the gospel and to break the chains of darkness that bind her. The enemy has blinded the minds of unbelievers (2 Corinthians 4:4), but God is able to shine His light into the darkest places. We declare that no heart is too hard for Him to soften, no mind too closed for Him to open. We pray for a supernatural work of conviction, that she would see her sin as God sees it and turn to Christ for forgiveness and new life.

We also lift up the family members involved, particularly the one you described as compassionate and honest. May they fear the Lord and walk in wisdom (Proverbs 23:17), and may they be bold witnesses to the truth in love. The youth in this situation must also be protected from stumbling, for Jesus warned that it would be better for a millstone to be hung around one’s neck than to cause a little one to sin (Matthew 18:6). We pray for their spiritual protection and for their hearts to be tender toward God.

Your desire to see this situation yield a testimony of God’s saving grace is beautiful and aligns with His heart. Paul’s words in 1 Timothy 1:15-16 remind us that Christ came to save sinners, and your spouse’s story, should she repent, could be a powerful display of His mercy. Yet we also recognize the reality of her current hardness. You have sought wisdom, and we join you in asking the Lord to grant you discernment to know His will in this season. Whether He calls you to wait in hope or to move forward in freedom, may you walk in obedience and peace.

We rebuke the spirit of bitterness that seeks to take root in your heart. The pain is real, but the Lord calls us to forgive as we have been forgiven (Colossians 3:13). This does not mean excusing sin or pretending it did not happen, but releasing the offender to God’s justice and trusting Him to be your defender. We also rebuke the lies of the enemy that may whisper condemnation or doubt. You are not abandoned, and your prayers are not in vain. The God who wept over Jerusalem (Matthew 23:37) weeps with you now, and He is working even in the silence.

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this marriage and the souls involved. Lord, You see the brokenness, the hardness of heart, and the pain that has been inflicted. We ask You to move in power, to soften the heart of this spouse, and to draw her to Yourself. Break the chains of deception and sin, and let Your light shine into the darkness. If it is Your will, restore what has been broken, but if not, grant wisdom and peace to walk in obedience.

Father, we pray for salvation, for this spouse to be born again, to receive a new heart and a new spirit (Ezekiel 36:26). Let her see Jesus as the only way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). Protect her from the evil one and keep her from further temptation. We also pray for the family members involved, that they would fear You, walk in truth, and be bold witnesses to the gospel.

Lord, we ask for Your protection over the youth in this situation. Guard their hearts and minds, and let them see Your love and faithfulness even in the midst of pain. For the one who has been wronged, we pray for healing, strength, and wisdom. Help them to forgive as You have forgiven, and to trust You with their future. Whether You call them to wait or to move forward, grant them peace and clarity.

We declare that no situation is beyond Your reach, and no heart is too hard for You to change. Let Your will be done, and let Your name be glorified in this situation. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who reconciles us to God and to one another. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and fasting, trusting that He is at work even when you cannot see it. Cling to His promises, and remember that He is close to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). If the Lord leads you to move forward in freedom, do so with confidence in His provision and grace. But if He calls you to wait, do so with hope, knowing that He is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20). You are not alone in this journey.

We’ve been holding this request before the Lord with you, and we want to sit with you in the ache of it, the long silence, the unreached heart, the years of hoping and fasting that seem to have changed nothing yet. What we hear in your words isn’t just a husband asking for his wife’s return; it’s a brother in Christ asking, “How do I keep loving when every door stays shut?” That kind of persevering love, even when it’s worn and weary, is not unnoticed.

You’re already doing the heavy lifting of prayer and fasting, and we don’t want to add to your load with too many “do more.” But we’d gently suggest you not carry this alone. Find one or two steady, spiritually mature friends or a pastor who can pray with you and also help you process the grief and disappointment, because your own soul needs tending too. A divorce recovery or support group at your church could also be a place to grieve well and keep your heart from hardening, regardless of how your wife responds. That isn’t giving up; it’s making sure you’re not running on empty while you stand in the gap.

The insight we keep returning to is this: you can’t generate her repentance, but you can keep your own heart soft and fully his. Your prayer for her salvation and for wisdom for yourself is exactly right. Laying both outcomes, reconciliation or release, into the Father’s hands, as you already did with Jesus in Gethsemane, is the safest place you can be. He will guide the timing and the means, and he will sustain you.

Let’s pray together now.

Father, we lift up this man and his wife to you. You know every hidden thing, every root of resistance, every lie she has believed, and you alone can break through. We ask for her genuine repentance, new birth, and a heart of flesh. Protect her from further evil and from harm. For our brother, grant fresh strength for the wrestling, tears that cleanse, and a clear sense of your nearness. Surround him with wise companions who will carry this weight with him. And we ask that your will be done, in your time and your way, for the glory of Christ and the good of all involved. In Jesus’ name, amen.

The cry of your heart ascends with many a scriptural plea, and it is well that you lay hold of the promises of God; yet let us speak plainly of this repentance you seek. The great error among men is to suppose that repentance is a thing to be wrung out of the natural heart by terror or by the mere force of a changed life. You have spoken of judgments, of broken vows, of a stony heart, and of the necessity of the new birth. Bear this truth upon your soul: the judgments of God, in and of themselves, can never work evangelical repentance. Law and terrors do but harden, all the while they work alone; it is a sense of blood-bought pardon that dissolves the heart of stone. You may fast, you may pray, you may set before her the most fearful consequences of her sin, but unless the Holy Spirit comes with the melting power of Christ’s dying love, all these things will leave her heart as hard as the nether millstone.

You ask for her to have a new heart, and that is the very centre of our hope. A man may reform himself, but how can a man give himself a new heart? The heart, being the motive power of all life, must exert itself before anything can be done; but how could the exertions of an old heart bring forth a new heart? It is God’s own word, “I will take away the stony heart, and give you a heart of flesh.” This is the sovereign act of the Almighty. You do well to plead it, for until the Maker of the heart puts His hand to the work, the creature is helpless. It adds to your comfort that no man ever truly cried for a new heart until he had one, for the cry itself proves a secret work has begun. Therefore, be not utterly cast down if you see no outward sign; the Lord has His set times, and the day in which a soul rejoices in Christ is the day in which God’s power is revealed on its behalf.

Yet let us be faithful with your soul and hers. See that you do not mistake a carnal repentance for the genuine work of grace. Many have a repentance after a fashion. Judgment may produce a repentance that is of the flesh, wherein the depravity of the heart remains the same in essence, though it takes another form. The man changes, but he is not savingly changed; he becomes another man, but not a new man. The sin rules still, only it is called by another name and wears another coat. The repentance you must labor in prayer to see is that which causes her to loathe the sin because it is hateful to the heart of Jesus. This is the repentance which glorifies God, and it sets the sinner ever afterwards craving after holiness. Unless her sorrow for breaking covenant springs from a sight of the crucified Christ whom she has pierced, it is a repentance that needs to be repented of.

And what is the place of this repentance? Preach it not as a condition of salvation, as if she must bring this price in her hand to purchase mercy. There are no conditions of salvation; the least sincere repentance saves the soul, for it and faith are born together as the first marks of the new birth. We have not to preach repentance in the manner of Moses or Jonah, but in the name of Jesus Christ. It means that we are to preach repentance as the gift of God. You are not to seek to draw it up from the depths of the human heart, as water from a well, but to ask Christ to work repentance by His Holy Spirit through belief of the truth. The Holy Spirit, by enlightening the understanding and influencing the affections, produces repentance even in that sterile heart which had never been previously softened. Wherever there is real repentance, it is the sure and infallible token of pardon, not merely a hopeful sign. If her heart is turned from sin, the hand of the Lord has been upon her for good.

Therefore, persist in your supplications, but look away from the dreaded judgments and the brokenness of the creature to the fullness of the Creator. The blessed Giver of all repentance unto salvation must guard you from the false repentances which abound, and give that repentance which exists unto life. A broken and a contrite heart He will not despise, but that heart is His own handiwork. The divided heart is not broken, but the broken heart is never divided. If He but grants you to see a serious, solemn earnestness take the place of frivolity and trifling, then know the healing has begun. Lay hold of your Lord as Jacob did, and though she seems now as one who refuses to return a text, much less return to you, remember that the God who takes away the stony heart can make her willing in the day of His power. He will come and take away that heart of stone, and on that heart of flesh He will write His law, so that she shall eventually be as though she had never been cast aside. Only believe, and prayerfully wait, for the promise stands sure: “A new heart also will I give you.”

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Truly, you have laid bare a soul in anguish, and you have done well to bring these things to the throne of grace. For when we are in such straits, what else is there but to cry out with tears and fasting? You have asked for your spouse to be turned from darkness to light, from the power of Satan to God, and this is a right and godly petition. For our Master Himself wept over those who would not be gathered, and He declared that with God all things are possible. Do not lose heart, then, as though your prayers were scattered by the wind. For He who commanded us to ask, seek, and knock, has not closed His ear to the brokenhearted. But listen carefully: the salvation of any soul is not a matter of human persuasion, but of divine regeneration. No amount of counsel or witness, however faithful, can replace that new birth which the Spirit alone can work. For as I have often said, when a house is in a ruinous state, one does not merely prop it up, but tears it down to its foundations and builds anew. So God does not repair the old nature, but makes us new by the washing of regeneration and the renewing of the Holy Ghost. This is what you must beg for her, with groanings that cannot be uttered.

And what is the instrument of this new creation? It is the short word of faith. There is no need to go about in a circuit of works and vexations; salvation is held in a few brief words: “If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” This is the word which, like a seed, must fall into a broken and contrite heart. Therefore, pray that her heart of stone be shattered, that godly sorrow may seize her, the sorrow that worketh repentance unto salvation, a repentance without regret. For not all grief is to be shunned; the grief that weeps for sinners, that is pricked at heart for the wandering of others, this is a grief full of delight, a grief that is the ground of joy. Paul burned when others stumbled, and he travailed in birth again until Christ be formed in them. You, too, are travailing for her soul; do not grow weary, for the travail of such prayer is not fruitless.

Yet, consider also the manner of our Lord’s dealings. When He spoke of those whose eyes were blinded, He said, “Lest at any time they should be converted, and I should heal them.” Did He say this in finality? No, but to provoke them, to show them that if they would but convert, He would heal them instantly. So it may be with your spouse. Her hardness is not beyond the reach of His healing hand, if she would but turn. For there is repentance, and it has mighty force. Even one who has plunged into the depths of wickedness may, by a contrite heart, by confession, by alms, and by humility, be restored. No second washing is needed; the one baptism remains. But the sacrifice is once for all; there is no need of another cross. What is needed is the application of the cure: the tears of repentance, the medicine of mercy, the balm of prayer and fasting.

And what of you? You ask for wisdom, and well you should. For the fear of the Lord, that is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. The Saints themselves knew not all things, as Elijah and Samuel discovered. Therefore, humble yourself under the mighty hand of God, and say with your Master, “Not my will, but Thine be done.” You have pondered the permissions of divorce and remarriage, and you know the Scriptures. But I would urge you to fix your eyes more on the height of charity, which hopes all things, endures all things. While she lives, while the door of repentance stands open, stand like the father of the prodigal, scanning the horizon for her return. Let your fasting and prayers give wings to your petitions, that if it be possible, this cup may pass from you both, and a remarkable testimony of saving grace be displayed. But if, in the end, she persists in her desertion, you are not in bondage; the Lord knows how to keep the righteous in peace. Until then, let your own life be a living epistle, known and read by all, that even she, seeing your chaste conduct and fear, may be won without a word.

Above all, do not let bitterness take root, lest you yourself become a castaway. Remit your anger against her, give thanks for all things to God, and continue in the works of mercy, which have power to cleanse every wound. For He who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth, is not willing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance. Let that be your confidence, and let your sorrow be swallowed up in the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge.

You have poured out a cry that is thick with Scripture, and that very fact tells me something about the posture of your heart. You are not merely rehearsing a legal case before God but pleading for something far greater: that a dead soul would live. That is never a misplaced prayer, because the word from our Lord is clear that what is impossible with man remains possible with God. While today is still called today, do not let the offer of grace be treated as an empty thing. The same voice that commanded light to shine out of darkness can pierce the blindness that holds a person captive, replacing the heart of stone with a heart of flesh and writing the law where it can finally be loved and kept.

Yet you must guard your own heart even as you intercede for hers. When pain is this raw and the wrong so deep, it is deceptively easy for a righteous grief to sour into a hardened heart. Scripture pictures the heart as a place that can be squeezed into a narrow, compressed thing by resentment, fear, or self-protection. But the Spirit’s work in us is to enlarge our hearts, as Christ’s was enlarged toward us in our own faithlessness. That does not mean whitewashing sin; it means refusing to let bitterness become a second tyrant. Ask the Lord to circumcise your heart afresh, not the outward flesh, but the inward posture, so that you do not grow numb or brittle in the waiting.

Your reference to spiritual adultery is biblically sound. Turning from the living God to any other object of ultimate trust is the essence of the prophecy and the warning. So when a marriage covenant is broken by an unfaithful spouse, it mirrors that deeper rupture. And precisely because God takes that rupture so seriously, He is able to redeem it. The same prophet who had to deal with a faithless wife was commanded to love her still, pointing toward a restoration that only grace could accomplish. That is a hard road, and only Christ can walk it in you. Yet it is the road that most vividly portrays the gospel to a watching world and to the one who has wandered.

If she remains unwilling, unresponsive, and hardened, you are not without clear guidance. Jesus Himself acknowledged the hardness of the human heart as the reason a concession was given under Moses. The apostle later made plain that when an unbelieving spouse chooses to depart, the one left behind is no longer bound. That is not permission lightly taken; it is the recognition that God does not force a covenant where the other has abandoned it. I hear you already weighing this, but I also hear the deeper hope: that the life which is impossible to men would become a public display of Christ’s mercy. That is a noble desire, and it is worth continuing to set before the throne, even now.

Pray, fast, seek wisdom, and then rest in this: it is God who is at work in you both to will and to work for His good pleasure. You are not responsible to produce a new heart in her, that is His work alone. Your responsibility is to live as a letter known and read by all, showing the steadfast love and holiness that, by God’s kindness, can lead another to repentance. Lay your petition before the Father with the same spirit that gladly said, “Not my will, but Yours be done.” The answer may come in a quiet humbling and a true rebirth, or it may come in the sorrowful release of an unbeliever. In either case, keep your eyes fixed on the only place salvation is found: in the Lord our God, and in Jesus Christ, the one Mediator. Let your heart be open before Him, enlarged rather than pressed down, and trust that He who began a good work in you and in this broken story will complete it for His glory.

We have been deeply moved by your heartfelt prayer request, and we want you to know that we have continued to stand in the gap with you, lifting up every word before our Heavenly Father. Your cry for repentance, renewal, and the salvation of your loved one has been laid upon our hearts, and we have interceded with the same fervency you expressed—asking for God’s light to pierce the darkness, for hearts of stone to be replaced with hearts of flesh, and for the Holy Spirit to bring about the new birth that only He can accomplish.

We have prayed specifically for the softening of hearts, for wisdom and revelation to flood every soul involved, and for the love of Christ to be publicly portrayed in ways that only God can orchestrate. We have asked the Lord to protect the innocent, to bind the work of the enemy, and to open eyes that have been blinded by sin and deception. We have also prayed for you—that you would be filled with supernatural wisdom, discernment, and a love that abounds in knowledge as you navigate this trial, always aligning your heart with the will of the Father, just as Christ did in Gethsemane.

If the Lord has already moved in response to these prayers—if there has been even the slightest shift toward repentance, reconciliation, or the breaking of strongholds—we rejoice with you and ask that you share a praise report so we may glorify God together. But if the battle still rages and the answer seems delayed, we encourage you to post this request again. Let us continue to stand with you in prayer, fasting, and agreement, trusting that our God is faithful to complete the work He has begun.

May the Lord bless you abundantly as you press into Him, seeking His face and His will above all else. May His peace guard your heart, His truth anchor your soul, and His love sustain you through every moment of this journey. We pray all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus. Amen.
