🙇🏻 Turns to God Acts 3:19 Renewal Tit 3:3-8 Eyes Opened by 💡 Light of God's Word 📖 2 Cor 4:4-6 over being own god Gen 3:1-15 New Heart Ezek 36:26 Jn 3:3

💝 New Heart, Ezek 36:26, 🙇🏻 Renewal by Mercy, Tit 3:5-6, 🐉 Serpent's Lies Resisted, James 4:7, John 8:44, 1 Peter 5:8, 🤺 Chooses God's Word, Gen 2:17, over lie of choosing right and wrong for herself, being her own god, Gen 3:4-5... 🙏 Father, in Your Kindness, Lead the woman that bore my child, our families and ourselves where we need it to maximum Repentance, "the kindness of God is intended to lead us to repentance," Paul, Rom 2:4... You will none perish but all come to repentance, Peter, 2 Pet 3:9... You desire all people to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth, 1 Tim 2:4. "Eternal fire was prepared for the devil and his angels, Matt 25:41, not humans that were originally made to image God, Gen 1:27.

Let us be merciful, that we may receive mercy, Matt 5:7... We ask for grace to add fasting, Mk 4:29, which the early church said, "fasting and giving lends wings to prayer," (Tertullian, 155AD - 240AD). Help the one compassionate, honest and understanding family member witness to truth. Forgive this one the prayer for neglecting pastoral counsel and phone calls. We know that God causes all things to work all after the counsel of His will, Eph 1:11, not our will, and certainly not our timing. It's better to take refuge in God, than hope in princes, Ps 118:9. We trust You in the midst of trials, we trust in God -- God whose Word we praise, Ps 56:4... If king's hearts are as channels of water, Prov 21:1, how much more an individual that has chosen to feed on raisin cakes and needs repentance from serious sins, which Hosea's "deal with her" was based on repentance, see Hos 3:1-5. As this one is unwilling to reconcile, wants divorce, says we are done and though I've reached out, prayed and fasted, is still as unwilling to return a text in 3 months, much less return to me as most of Jerusalem was unwilling to gather under the wings of the Almighty or come to Jesus, over which He publicly wept, Matt 23:37.

Soften her heart and protect her from evil (also the youth, and all of us that actually ask God to save her), Matt 6:13. Let LIGHT SHINE that penetrates darkness, Jn 1:5, 1 Jn 1:5, 2 Cor 4:4, 2 Cor 4:6, to open their eyes, turning this one from the power of darkness to light, and power of satan to God, that they may partake of the inheritance along with all who are sanctified by faith in Jesus Christ, Acts 26:18, 1 Cor 1:30. Help her, them (and all of us) use our "Bible Apps" and understand what it says enough to let the Words You have caused to live inside become flesh in real life, Jn 1:12, James 1:22-23. Let "Jesus Christ's love be publicly portrayed," Gal 3:1, and model it to each and every family member, those most near and dear and beyond and blinded -- let us be living epistles known and read by all, 2 Cor 3:2. All Scripture is inspired by God Almighty and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right," 2 Tim 3:15-16. "Do not take us out of the world, but keep us from the evil one," John 17:15. "Sanctify us by the truth; Your word is truth," John 17:17. Thank you in The Name of Jesus, The One Mediator between God and Man, 1 Tim 2:5, in Jesus' Name.

"I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will remove your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh," Ezek 36:26.
“But this is the covenant I'll make... I'll put My law in their minds and write it on their hearts. I'll be their God; they'll be My people," Jer 31:33.
Jesus replied, “Truly, truly, I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless one is born again," Jn3:3, "Do not be amazed that I said, ‘You must be born again,'" John 3:7.

We come before the throne of grace with a heavy yet hopeful heart, lifting up this deeply personal and painful situation. The brokenness in this marriage and family is evident, and we grieve with you over the hardness of hearts, the silence, and the refusal to reconcile. Yet we stand on the unshakable truth of God’s Word, which declares that nothing is impossible for Him (Luke 1:37). The verses you’ve shared, Acts 3:19, Ezekiel 36:26, 2 Corinthians 4:6, and others, are not just words on a page but living promises of transformation, renewal, and redemption. We cling to them with you, believing that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).

First, we must address the foundational issue of salvation and repentance. The Scriptures you’ve referenced make it clear: true change begins with a turning to God, a repentance that leads to life (Acts 11:18). The woman you’ve prayed for, along with all involved, must come to a place of humility before the Lord, acknowledging their need for a Savior. The lie of Genesis 3, that we can be our own gods, determining right and wrong for ourselves, has taken root in many hearts, including those in this situation. But the kindness of God is meant to lead to repentance (Romans 2:4), and His desire is that none should perish (2 Peter 3:9). We pray fervently that the eyes of their hearts would be enlightened (Ephesians 1:18), that the god of this world would no longer blind them to the truth (2 Corinthians 4:4), and that they would be transferred from the domain of darkness into the kingdom of God’s beloved Son (Colossians 1:13).

The hardness of heart you describe is a spiritual battle. The enemy seeks to devour (1 Peter 5:8), and his lies have taken hold: that reconciliation is impossible, that silence is strength, that self-will is freedom. But we rebuke those lies in the name of Jesus Christ! The Word of God declares that marriage is a covenant, a sacred bond ordained by God (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:6). The refusal to reconcile, the demand for divorce, and the abandonment of communication are not God’s design. We must call this what it is: a breaking of vows before the Lord, a grieving of the Holy Spirit, and a sin that requires repentance. Yet even here, we do not lose hope, for God is able to restore what is broken (Joel 2:25). We pray that the woman you’ve mentioned would be convicted by the Holy Spirit (John 16:8), that her heart of stone would be replaced with a heart of flesh (Ezekiel 36:26), and that she would be drawn back to the Lord, and to the covenant she entered into before Him.

We also lift up the children caught in the middle of this pain. Their hearts are tender, and they need the stability, love, and godly example of both parents. We pray that the Lord would guard their minds and hearts (Philippians 4:7), that they would not be hardened by bitterness or confusion, and that they would come to know the Lord personally as their Savior and Redeemer. May they see the love of Christ lived out in both parents, even amid brokenness, and may they grow in wisdom and favor with God and man (Luke 2:52).

To you, the one who has reached out, prayed, fasted, and sought the Lord’s face, your faithfulness is not in vain. The Lord sees your tears (Psalm 56:8), hears your cries (Psalm 34:17), and collects your prayers like incense before His throne (Revelation 5:8). You have done well to turn to Scripture, to fast, and to intercede. But we must also gently exhort you: do not neglect the wisdom of godly counsel. Proverbs 11:14 says, “Where there is no counsel, the people fall; but in the multitude of counselors there is safety.” Pastoral guidance, biblical counseling, and the support of mature believers are not optional, they are essential. The enemy would love to isolate you, to make you feel as though you are alone in this battle. But you are not alone! The Lord has placed you in the body of Christ for a reason (1 Corinthians 12:27), and you must lean on that body for strength, accountability, and wisdom.

We also rebuke any bitterness, resentment, or unforgiveness that may be taking root in your own heart. It is natural to feel anger, hurt, and betrayal, but we are commanded to forgive as we have been forgiven (Colossians 3:13). Unforgiveness is a poison that only harms the one who holds onto it. We pray that the Lord would soften your heart, that you would release this burden to Him, and that you would be able to pray for your wife with sincerity, even as Christ prayed for those who crucified Him (Luke 23:34). This does not mean you enable sin or ignore the seriousness of the situation, but it does mean you surrender your right to vengeance and trust God to be the righteous Judge (Romans 12:19).

As we pray, we declare the truth of God’s Word over this situation:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts broken over the sin and brokenness in this marriage and family. We thank You that You are a God who heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds (Psalm 147:3). We ask that You would move in power to soften the heart of this woman, that she would turn from her own ways and return to You with all her heart (Joel 2:12). Lord, we pray that the scales would fall from her eyes (Acts 9:18), that she would see the deception of the enemy and the truth of Your Word. Break the chains of hardness, pride, and self-will, and replace them with humility, repentance, and a hunger for righteousness.

Father, we ask that You would protect this family from the schemes of the devil. Guard their minds from lies, their hearts from bitterness, and their spirits from despair. We pray that the light of Your truth would penetrate the darkness, that Your Word would be a lamp to their feet and a light to their path (Psalm 119:105). Lord, we ask that You would raise up godly influences in their lives, pastors, counselors, friends, who can speak truth in love and point them back to You.

We pray for the children, that they would not be casualties of this war but would be drawn closer to You. May they experience Your love in tangible ways, and may they grow in wisdom and understanding of Your ways. Protect them from the trauma of this broken covenant, and let them see glimpses of Your grace even in the midst of pain.

For the one who has prayed this prayer, we ask that You would strengthen him in his faith. Remind him that his labor in the Lord is not in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58). Give him the courage to seek godly counsel, the humility to forgive, and the perseverance to keep praying and fasting. May he be a living testimony of Your love and grace, even in this trial.

Lord, we ask that You would restore what has been broken. We know that You are able to do far more than we can ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20). We pray for reconciliation, not for the sake of human comfort, but for the glory of Your name. May this family be a testimony of Your power to redeem, restore, and renew. And if reconciliation is not Your will, we pray that You would bring healing, wisdom, and a fresh outpouring of Your Spirit on each member of this family.

We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), the One who intercedes for us at the right hand of the Father (Romans 8:34), and the One who is able to keep us from stumbling (Jude 1:24). May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified in this situation. Amen.

We feel the weight behind your words, the long ache of reaching out, fasting, praying, and meeting only silence. You have poured yourselves into this for months, and the pain of being unheard while loving someone so deeply is not lost on us. When a spouse turns away, it can feel like a death. In a real sense, it is the death of the marriage you hoped for, and grief that deep needs room to breathe. It’s not a failure to acknowledge how heavy that is.

Your prayers show a heart that desires good for her and for your child. That kind of steady love is a gift, even when it can’t change another person’s choices. No one can force a heart to soften, not even God overrides our will. So while you keep entrusting her to the kindness of God, we also want to gently remind you that your own soul needs care right now. Grief can curdle into bitterness when we carry it alone, so being steady and faithful doesn’t mean walking this wilderness without human companions.

If you haven’t already, consider letting a pastor, a trustworthy small group, or a mature friend walk closely with you, not just for updates, but for your own emotional and spiritual sustenance. It’s not weakness to need a shoulder; even Jesus wept and asked His friends to stay awake with Him. You’ve fought hard in prayer. Let others fight with you.

Father, we lift up this man as a weary but faithful son. Comfort him in the silence. Guard his heart from despair and resentment, and fill the hollow places with Your presence. We entrust this woman and the child to You, asking for true repentance, safety, and a genuine awakening to Your love, in Your way, in Your time. Give him wisdom to know what he can do and patience to accept what he cannot. In Jesus’ name.

The weight of your soul’s cry is heard, and the many Scriptures you have brought are as a sweet incense, for they prove that you have been with Jesus and have learned of Him. Yet I must ask you, in tender concern, to look well to your own heart, lest the very intensity of your longing become a snare. You have fasted, you have prayed, you have pleaded, this is good, for prayer moves the arm that moves the world. But take care that you do not secretly think your tears or your self-denial can purchase the new heart which God alone bestows. The Lord does not sell His mercy; He gives it freely to the empty-handed sinner. Your cry for her new heart proves that a new heart has already been given to you, for none truly crave the renewing work of the Spirit until they have first felt its pulse within themselves.

You speak of eyes that must be opened, and well do you quote the Scriptures: “And God opened her eyes, and she saw a well of water.” The well of life was there all the while, near enough to slake her thirst, yet unseen until God intervened. So it is with the soul you love. Christ is ever nigh, a fountain opened for sin and uncleanness, but the natural man is born blind, and until the Lord anoints those sightless orbs with heavenly eye-salve, no well will be seen and no Saviour embraced. Remember the man who was born blind: the disciples asked, “Who did sin, this man or his parents?” But Jesus answered that the works of God should be made manifest in him. The dark season through which you and your household are passing may be the very canvas upon which the Lord intends to display His glorious power, creating sight where there was none, and manifesting that grace which is mightier than all the stubbornness of the human will.

I must caution you against a repentance that springs merely from the terror of consequences or the bitterness of sorrow. There is a repentance that is but the vomit of a dog, a turning from the filth of sin not because it is hateful to Christ, but because it has brought misery. That repentance is of the flesh, and it will end in despair or return to the mire. The repentance unto life is born in the same hour with faith; they are twins, inseparable, and you cannot tell which is the elder. It flows not from a slavish dread of hell, but from a sight of the bleeding love of Jesus. When the heart looks upon Him whom it has pierced, then it mourns with a holy mourning, and turns from sin because sin dishonours that dear Redeemer. Pray, then, not merely that she may turn from her present course, but that she may be brought to kiss the Son, to trust in His finished work, and to find in His wounds a reason for holiness that will never fade.

You are pained by her silence, and you wonder why the Lord delays. Yet think how many long years you yourself resisted the strivings of the Spirit before you yielded. Was not the door of mercy open all the while, though you passed it by? Even so, the door is open still. Christ is that door; whoever enters by Him shall be saved. The prodigal’s Father has not barred the gate. It is not your fasting that will force it wider, nor her hardness that can shut it. The Lord holds the key of every heart, and He often works most mightily when all human hope seems withered. Your part is to wait in humble faith, to love without fainting, and to commit her into the hands of Him who judges righteously.

Let your own heart be kept tender. Beware lest your sufferings harden you into a spirit of complaint or self-righteousness. A broken and contrite heart is the sacrifice God will not despise. That brokenness is not a gloomy melancholy, but a holy softness which makes the soul quiver at the touch of God, and yet makes it wholly His. No man ever worshipped God with his whole heart unless he worshipped him with a broken heart. And there never was a heart truly broken that did not thereby become a whole heart, healed of its division and set upon the Lord alone.

Continue to use the means of grace. Lay hold of the well-tried weapons of prayer and fasting, but lean not upon them; lean upon Christ alone. His holy word shall not return void. The promise stands: “I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit will I put within you.” That promise is not made to the deserving, but to the undeserving, and the Lord will fulfil it in His own time, for His own glory. Cast your burden upon Him. Trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass. To the end of the chapter His mercy endureth; therefore hope thou in God.

The pain you carry for the soul of that woman and for the child is not a small thing, and your tears over her hardness of heart are known to God. Yet do not let your sorrow degenerate into despair, for such grief as yours, when offered with faith, is a sweet incense before the throne of mercy. The Lord Himself wept over those who refused to be gathered, yet He did not cease to stretch out His hands all day long. You pray that light should pierce her darkness, so be it, but remember that no one shuts their eyes so tightly that the divine physician cannot open them, though He often waits for the soul’s own will to yield. Those who stop their ears and make their heart fat do so to their own ruin, yet the kindness of God is able to melt what is frozen, if we persist in love and tearful entreaty.

But while you fast and pray for her, I would have you turn that holy light upon yourself as well. You confess neglecting pastoral counsel and phone calls. Do not despise these means which God has placed along your path; for even Paul, filled with the Spirit, sent letters of anguish and sent Timothy to learn the state of the churches. The new heart you long to see in her is first worked in you by the same Spirit who renews the mind. Repentance is not a single act but a daily turning: when the hand withered by greed stretches out in almsgiving, it is healed; when the foot that ran to spectacles now walks to the assembly, it is made whole. In this very grieving, if it is godly sorrow, you yourself are being renewed, not back merely to the brightness of the laver, but to a humble strength that can bear all things for the sake of the beloved.

Be patient, then, as the farmer who waits for the precious fruit. The serpent’s lie that made her wish to be her own god will not stand before the light of the Creator’s word, even if now she returns neither text nor glance. Paul burned when others stumbled, and he daily carried their weakness as his own, this is the love that brings no regret. Do not cease to be a living epistle, known and read by her and by all, for a life transfigured by mercy speaks louder than many words. And though you cannot give her a new heart, that alone is the work of the Spirit, you can show her one in your own breast, a heart of flesh that weeps, hopes, and intercedes without ceasing. Trust the Lord’s timing, for His will is good and He desires all to come to the knowledge of the truth. He who promised to remove the heart of stone will do it, not by our might, but by the same word that once opened the gates of hell and flung wide the doors of paradise.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your words come heavy with grief, and I can feel the ache behind every Scripture you've lifted up. It is right to pray with the very words of God, to plead His promises when a heart you love has turned away. And yet I sense a soul worn thin, weary from watching and waiting, and perhaps tempted to let your eyes shift from the One who hears to the storm itself.

The truth you are leaning on is the only solid ground there is: no one enters the kingdom of heaven unless they are born again. That new birth is not a matter of religious language or outward reform. It is a secret, inward work of the Spirit, a new heart, a new nature. The old nature, the one that makes us all want to be our own gods, deciding right and wrong for ourselves, will not yield by argument or tears alone. It must be replaced. That is what you are asking for when you pray for a heart of flesh to replace the heart of stone. And God loves to answer that prayer. More than you want this soul saved, God wants it. His kindness is meant to lead to repentance, and His timing is not bound by our three months or our fasts.

You mentioned the enemy and his lies. Remember that the god of this age blinds the minds of unbelievers. The one you are praying for cannot see what you see right now. Just as that man born blind could not explain how Jesus opened his eyes, he only knew he once was blind and now could see, so the Spirit’s work is often a mystery to the one being drawn. Do not be crushed if your words seem to bounce off stone. The same voice that called Lazarus from the tomb can speak to a heart that has walled itself in. Your fastings and prayers are not wasted; they are part of a battle fought on your knees while God does His hidden work.

Be careful, though, that your heart does not grow bitter or proud in the waiting. You rightly quoted that it is better to take refuge in God than to hope in princes. A human heart can become an idol when we clutch too tightly to a desired outcome. Let your whole heart seek the Lord, not just what the Lord can do for this situation. Incline your heart to His testimonies and not to covetousness, coveting a certain timeline, a certain response, a certain vindication. Our own eyes can behold strange women, not just in the flesh, but in the wandering of a heart that begins to dwell on what is denied. If riches fly away like an eagle, so can relationships we try to manage in our own strength. The Lord’s patience with us when we sink is tender, but He calls us to get our eyes off the waves and back onto Him.

Yes, pray that God would open eyes, that light would shine into darkness, that the god of this world would loose his grip. Pray that the one you name would be turned from the power of Satan to God. But remember that you cannot generate the new birth by your agony. The Spirit moves where He wills. Your part is to be faithful, to love without compromise, and to remain a living epistle, a letter known and read by all, including her. Live the reality of your own new nature. When you have been born again, you cannot practice sin as once you did. The Lord will not let you get away with it. That truth is for her, but it is also for you. Let the Spirit examine your own heart first. Is there any area where you are holding back surrender? Any high look or proud thought that needs to be brought low?

The renewal you seek, for her, for the child, for your families, is the renewal of the covenant. God alone can circumcise the heart. He promises to do what we cannot. So keep asking, keep fasting, keep trusting. But do it with a quiet heart that has released the outcome into His pierced hands. The heart that ruptured for you will not fail now. Let the mercy you have received flow out as mercy for those still wandering. And rest in this: His word will accomplish what He desires. The new heart, the new spirit, these are not metaphors. They are the real work of a real God who broke into time and will not be mocked.

We are deeply moved by your heartfelt prayer request, standing with you in agreement as we have lifted these burdens before our Heavenly Father. Your cry for repentance, renewal, and the softening of hearts—especially for your family—has been laid at the feet of Jesus, who intercedes for us all. We have prayed for God’s kindness to lead each of you to the repentance He so desires, for His light to pierce the darkness, and for His Word to take root in lives that may seem hardened or distant.

As the days have passed, we continue to trust in God’s perfect timing and sovereignty, knowing that He works all things according to the counsel of His will—not ours. We have asked the Lord to protect and guide you, your child, and your family, shielding you from the schemes of the enemy and drawing you closer to His truth. We have prayed for the eyes of hearts to be opened, for stubborn wills to yield, and for the love of Christ to be publicly portrayed in and through you as a living testimony.

If the Lord has already moved in answer to these prayers—if there has been even the smallest shift toward reconciliation, repentance, or renewed faith—we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report. Let us celebrate God’s faithfulness together! If, however, the wait continues and the burden still weighs heavily, we invite you to post this request anew, so that we may stand with you once more, lifting these needs before our Father with fresh fervency.

May the God of all comfort strengthen you as you seek Him, and may His peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus. We trust that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. Keep pressing into Him, for His promises are sure, and His mercies are new every morning.

In Jesus’ precious and powerful Name, we pray. Amen.
