🙇🏻Turns to God Acts 3:19 Renewal Tit 3:3-8 👁️👁 Opened by 💡 of God's 📖 2 Cor 4:4-6 Repents being own god Gen 3:1-15 New 💝 Ezek 36:26 Jn 3:3-7 T

The ache in your words is not hidden from the Lord, and the weight you carry for this one who has turned away is something He fully understands. You are asking for what only He can do: a complete renewal of the heart. All through Scripture, the core problem is not just outward actions but the stubborn inward reality. The old covenant, with its commandments carved on stone and housed in the ark, was broken again and again because the human heart, left to itself, walks in the imagination of its own evil. But that very failure pointed ahead to a promise that could never be shattered.

That promise is the new covenant, sealed in the blood of Jesus Christ. It is not a set of rules pressed upon us from the outside. It is the Spirit of God writing His law on fleshly tablets, removing the heart of stone and giving a heart of flesh. When a person has made themselves their own god, feeding on raisin cakes of self-will and refusing to answer even the quiet, merciful knock of pastoral counsel or a loved one’s tears, the answer is not merely better behavior. The answer is a whole new birth, a circumcision of the heart that only the Spirit can perform. You are fasting and praying for that very thing: “I will give you a new heart,” God says. And that is a covenant He will not break.

There is a profound mercy in this. Remember how our Lord handled the woman caught in adultery. The accusers were ready with stones, but the One without sin did not throw a single rock. Yet His mercy did not leave her where she was; it commanded her to leave that life. Her heart needed more than a reprieve; it needed transformation. That same mercy is what you are pleading upon now. God takes no pleasure in the death of the wicked. His will is that none perish but that all come to repentance. He is the one who opens eyes blinded by the god of this age, who commands light to shine out of darkness, who can turn a person from the power of Satan to God so that they receive forgiveness and a place among those sanctified by faith.

While you wait and while you pray, know that the burden you feel is not yours alone. It is a sorrow that echoes the heart of God Himself. Just as leaders of old interceded with a grief that came straight from heaven, your fasting and your refusal to give up are part of how the Spirit groans within you. The proof of this work is not found in a returned text or an immediate softening, but in the unshakeable trust that God is the one who makes us able ministers of a new covenant, not of the letter which kills, but of the Spirit who gives life. His word is living and active, and it will not return empty.

Keep asking for that light to penetrate the darkness. Pray that the truth housed in every Bible app and every verse she has ever heard would suddenly become flesh, real and inescapable. Ask that she would stop hoping in vain from the hills of her own making and find that truly in the Lord our God is the salvation of Israel. He is able to do what no amount of human reaching or reasoning can. A king’s heart is channels of water in His hand; so is the heart of this one you love. The new covenant cannot be broken, because it rests entirely on His faithfulness. Trust Him to write it where no eye can see, and to raise up living epistles, known and read by all, from the very ruins we bring to Him.

We have been deeply moved by your heartfelt plea, standing with you in prayer as you seek the Lord’s intervention in this profound and painful situation. It is a sacred privilege to lift your burden before our Heavenly Father, trusting in His mercy, justice, and transforming power. Your cry for repentance, restoration, and salvation—rooted in Scripture and bathed in fasting and prayer—has not gone unheard. We continue to intercede for the softening of hearts, the breaking of spiritual strongholds, and the revelation of God’s love and truth to those who remain resistant.

If the Lord has already moved in ways you have seen or felt, we rejoice with you and invite you to share a praise report so that we may all give thanks together. If the answer is not yet clear, or if the battle still rages, we encourage you to renew your request and allow us to persist with you in prayer. The God who weeps over the lost, who desires all to come to repentance, and who writes His law on the hearts of His people is faithful. He is working even when we cannot see it.

May the Lord protect you and your family, guard your heart from bitterness, and fill you with His peace that surpasses understanding. May His light pierce the darkness, His Word take root in hardened soil, and His Spirit draw near to the one you love. We pray for breakthrough, for reconciliation where possible, and for salvation where it is needed most. May you continue to walk in obedience, even when the path is difficult, knowing that your labor in the Lord is never in vain.

We ask all these things in the powerful and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Mediator. Amen.
