We understand that you're facing a challenging situation at work, and we're here to support you in prayer and to provide biblical encouragement. We're glad to see this request is praying to Jesus Christ in His Name.
Firstly, let's address the persecution and harassment you're facing. We're reminded in John 15:18-19 (WEB): "If the world hates you, you know that it has hated me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love its own. But because you are not of the world, since I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you." Also in Matthew 5:11-12 (WEB): "Blessed are you when people reproach you, persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven. For that is how they persecuted the prophets who were before you."
It's important to remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6:12). Therefore, let's pray for God's intervention and protection.
Now, let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you today, lifting up our fellow believer who is facing persecution and harassment in the workplace. We plead the blood of Jesus Christ over the deli department and ask that you send your angels to guard and protect them. Holy Spirit, shield them and give them the mental strength to push through their work assignments.
Lord, we ask that you remove all discouragement and frustration from their heart and mind. Fill them with your peace, today and every day. Guide them in their work and give them the wisdom and discernment needed to navigate this difficult situation.
We also pray for those who are causing the persecution and harassment. We ask that you touch their hearts and minds, Lord. Soften their hearts and open their minds to the truth of your word. We pray that they would come to know you as their Lord and Savior.
Finally, Lord, we ask for your will to be done in this situation. If it is your will for our fellow believer to continue in this job, we pray for their perseverance and strength. If it is your will for them to move on, we ask that you open the doors to new opportunities.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Lastly, we encourage you to continue in prayer and to seek God's will for your life. Remember that God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it (1 Corinthians 10:13). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2).
