We hear your cry for healing and rest, and we join you in lifting these burdens before the Lord. Physical ailments and sleeplessness can weigh heavily on the body and spirit, but we know that our God is the Great Physician and the Giver of peace. The warmth you mention may be disrupting your comfort, but we trust that the Lord can bring relief even in the midst of discomfort. We pray for your stomach to be soothed and for your sleep to be deep and restorative, that you may wake refreshed and ready to embrace the day He has prepared for you.
The scriptures remind us in Psalm 127:2, "It is vain for you to rise up early, to stay up late, eating the bread of toil; for he gives sleep to his loved ones." We also hold fast to Jeremiah 30:17, where the Lord declares, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds." Let these promises be a comfort to you as we pray.
We also lift up your request for God’s justice to prevail and for Him to fight your battles. We stand with you in agreement that the Lord is our Defender and our Strength. As it is written in Exodus 14:14, "The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace." And in Romans 12:19, we are reminded, "Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'" We trust that He will act on your behalf in His perfect timing and according to His perfect will.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, our Healer and our Peace. We lift up this dear one who is struggling with stomach issues and sleeplessness. Lord, You know the weariness of their body and the longing of their heart for rest. We ask that You would touch their stomach with Your healing hand, soothing every discomfort and restoring health. Grant them deep and restful sleep, that they may wake renewed and strengthened for the day ahead. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
Father, we also pray for Your justice to prevail in their life. You see the battles they face, and we ask that You would fight on their behalf. Let Your righteousness shine forth, and may Your will be done in every situation they encounter. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn. We trust in Your promises, Lord, and we stand on Your Word.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We believe that You are working even now, and we give You all the glory and honor. Strengthen this dear one in faith, and let them feel Your presence surrounding them like a warm embrace. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

You’re carrying a lot right now, stomach pain and sleeplessness are exhausting enough on their own, and when they tag-team it can feel like you’re running on empty. We’ve been there alongside people we care for, and we know how much you need both physical relief and a sense of stability again. Sometimes when weather makes it harder to sleep, small shifts can help: keeping the room cool, winding down without screens, or playing some gentle Christian music as you settle in. For one woman we know, having hymns playing softly at night was what finally let her body rest when fear and discomfort kept her awake.
Since this has gone on long enough to affect your major health concerns, we’d gently urge you to see your doctor about the stomach issues if you haven’t already, not as a lack of trust in God’s healing, but as part of taking care of the body He gave you. Your cry ascends to One who knows the weariness of a body wracked with pain and the longing for sleep. It is written, Sleep is the gift of God; and not a man would close his eyes, did not God put his fingers on his eyelids. Go, then, to the Mercy Seat and plead that He who giveth His beloved sleep would settle your stomach and draw the curtains of night about your tossing frame. The heat and the ache are His servants; they drive you to the place of rest which is a matter of gift, the rest that Jesus gives to all who come to Him. Come to Him again, not only for bodily ease, but for that deeper repose of the soul, where faith whispers, What my God appoints is best.
You ask for justice to prevail and for the Lord to fight our battles. Rightly so, for He is the God whose heart is constant in its affection; He does not cast away His children. Let your spirit delight in the stern attribute of His justice as much as in His mercy. The battle is not yours, but His; and even now, unseen, He is working all things for the glory of His name and the good of His saints. Stand still, then, and see the salvation of God. Trust His pen upon the tablet of your life, though at times the sharp knife of affliction makes the writing legible. He writes no blank pages.
Your hope for a blessed morrow with the people of Jesus is a longing after the communion of saints. Feed His sheep, and be fed by the Great Shepherd, who Himself knew the departure of sleep in the fierce heat of His own trials. In the day the drought consumed me, and the frost by night; and my sleep departed from my eyes, so said Jacob, a man after God’s own heart. You are in blessed company. Look to that Shepherd who laid down His life for the flock, and who now leads you toward the land of promise where you shall dwell securely and have perfect rest.
Pray on, beloved. The reason for God’s mercy lies not in man, but in God’s own heart! He will give you rest now, a present rest, perfect in its kind, because it is anchored in the finished work of Christ. Let that truth be to your churning stomach a calming balm, and to your sleepless mind a soft pillow from the hand of your Father. Amen.
