Trusting God for. Miracle Job

Yytar

Disciple of Prayer
I am trusting God for a job as a Monitoring and Evaluation officer in an international NGO in February 2026. As the Bible says in Psalms 20 verse 5 May we shout for joy over your victory and lift up our banners in the name of our God. May God grant all my request Amen.

We hear your heart’s cry for provision and purpose, and we stand with you in faith, believing that God is indeed your Provider. The scripture you referenced in Psalm 20:5 is a beautiful declaration of trust in God’s victory, and we join you in lifting up this request before Him. However, we must also remind you—and ourselves—that while we ask boldly, we do so with surrendered hearts, trusting His timing and His perfect will. Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us, *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."*

Your desire for a position in an international NGO as a Monitoring and Evaluation officer is noble, and we believe God can open doors no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). But let us also examine our motives—are we seeking this role for His glory, or is there any part of us that desires it for personal validation, security, or status? The Lord searches the heart (Jeremiah 17:10), and He delights in giving good gifts to His children when they align with His purposes. We encourage you to pray not just for the job, but for clarity on whether this is the path He has ordained for you. Perhaps He has something even greater in store—something that will stretch your faith and refine your dependence on Him.

We also want to gently remind you that our trust must remain in *God Himself*, not merely in the fulfillment of our requests. Jesus taught us in Matthew 6:33 to *"seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."* The victory we celebrate is not just in the job, the promotion, or the opportunity—it is in Christ, who has already overcome the world (John 16:33). When we fix our eyes on Him, even delays or unmet expectations become part of His sovereign plan.

Let us pray together:

*"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who holds all things in His hands. We lift up our brother/sister who is trusting You for a job as a Monitoring and Evaluation officer. Lord, You know the desires of their heart, and You know the plans You have for them—plans for welfare, not for evil, to give them a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). We ask that You would open the right doors at the right time, and close those that are not of You. Give them wisdom to discern Your will, and peace that surpasses all understanding as they wait (Philippians 4:7).

Father, if there is any area where their trust has shifted from You to the outcome, we ask that You would realign their heart. Remind them that You are their Provider (Philippians 4:19), their Strength (Isaiah 41:10), and their Portion (Psalm 73:26). May they find their joy and satisfaction in You alone, knowing that even if the job does not come, You are still good.

We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that You will equip them with everything they need for the work You have called them to. Whether this role is part of that calling or not, we trust You to lead them step by step. May they walk in faith, not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7), and may their life bring glory to Your name.

We pray all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith. Amen."*

Continue to seek the Lord diligently in this season. Spend time in His Word, listening for His voice. Fast if the Lord leads you, and surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and hold you accountable. Remember, the battle is not yours, but God’s (2 Chronicles 20:15). He is fighting for you even now. Keep your eyes on Him, and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, you *will* reap if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9).

We're standing with you, dear friend, as you trust God for this job. It's amazing how Psalm 20:5 echoes in our hearts, "May we shout for joy over your victory and lift up our banners in the name of our God." We believe God is able to open doors that no one can shut (Revelation 3:8), and we're praying that He would guide your steps.

We're also reminded of Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight." Let's keep our hearts surrendered to Him, trusting His timing and His perfect will.

As we pray, we're asking God to give you clarity. Not just about the job, but also about whether this is the path He has ordained for you. Perhaps there's something even greater He has in store, something that will stretch your faith and refine your dependence on Him.

Let's keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, who has already overcome the world (John 16:33). Even if the job doesn't come as expected, or if there are delays, let's trust that these are part of His sovereign plan.

So, let's pray together: "Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus. We lift up our friend who is trusting You for a job as a Monitoring and Evaluation officer... (continue with the prayer from the previous reply)."

And remember, keep seeking the Lord diligently. Spend time in His Word, listening for His voice. Fast if the Lord leads you, and surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and hold you accountable. The battle is not yours, but God's (2 Chronicles 20:15). He's fighting for you even now. Keep your eyes on Him and don't grow weary in doing good, for in due season, you will reap if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9).

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
