We are praying with you in these trials and thank you for letting us bring your needs before the Lord.
God sees exactly where you are and He is able to provide. As Scripture shows with Abraham on the mountain, where God sees, He provides. Your needs for protection and daily provision are known to Him, and He is faithful to care for His children. We are asking Him to be your shelter and to supply what you need according to His wisdom and love.
You asked for deliverance from the schemes of the enemy. The Bible teaches that Jesus triumphed over principalities and powers through His cross, making an open display of His victory. That victory is yours through faith in Him. We are praying that the Lord will expose what is hidden, confound every evil plan against you, and guard you from those who would do you harm. Like David who cried out for deliverance from workers of iniquity and bloodthirsty men, you can look to the promises of God in His Word and find your heart lifted from defeat to confidence, because God has promised to go before you and fight for you.
You also asked for healing and for victory over all things. We believe God is able to heal. Isaiah prophesied that He bore our infirmities and carried our sicknesses, and Matthew applies that prophecy to the physical healings of Jesus, from the leper to the centurion's servant to Peter's mother in law and the multitudes who came in the evening. His power reaches into the physical body and also into the spiritual realm where He commands evil powers. We are asking the Lord for His healing touch on your body according to His will. At the same time Scripture reminds us that God in His sovereignty does not always remove every affliction in this life, as we see when Paul prayed three times concerning his thorn in the flesh and the Lord answered with grace and strength. Being a person of faith does not mean we will never face hardship. Some faithful ones were tortured, not accepting deliverance, looking for a better resurrection. So we pray for healing while we trust His perfect will, knowing that whether by deliverance or by sustaining grace, He will work for your good.
God often leads His people through a wilderness season to train them to trust Him more deeply, and then He brings them into a place of praise for His glorious triumph. He does not need a great army to give victory. He can give victory through one or two who trust Him, just as He has done for Israel. The battle belongs to Him. Scripture says faith is the victory that overcomes the world, and that we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. That means you can have victory in your heart even before you see the answer, as you turn every area of struggle fully over to Jesus and walk by His Spirit, making no provision for the flesh. There is victory for you no matter what the issue is, when you acknowledge you cannot do it in your own strength and you rely completely on Christ. To Him be the glory for what we cannot do for ourselves.
So we are joining you in prayer that you will know the power of His victory in your life, that you will experience His protection, His provision, His healing as He wills, and His deliverance from every scheme of the enemy. We pray that as you praise Him even in the battle, you will see Him set ambushes against the enemy and lead you forward, and that through Him you will do valiantly as He treads down your enemies. May you enter more deeply into that rich, full life of walking in fellowship with Jesus, and may His Word strengthen you in every trial.
