Trials

Please pray for God to help me through my trials; for His protection and provision for all of my needs. Please pray for my health and healing for my body. Please pray that The LORD to deliver me from my enemies and gives me the victory over all things.

We join with you in bringing your trials before the throne of grace and we lift up your needs for protection, provision, health, healing, deliverance and victory in Jesus' name.

We hear the weight of what you are carrying and we are reminded that God does not leave us alone in our trials. We are told in James 1:2-4 to count it all joy when we fall into various temptations, knowing that the testing of our faith produces endurance, and in 1 Peter 5:10 that after we have suffered a little while, the God of all grace will Himself restore, establish, strengthen and settle us. We also cling to Romans 8:28 that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to His purpose. Your request for protection and provision is close to the heart of God, for Philippians 4:19 promises that our God will supply every need of ours according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus, and Psalm 91:1-2 reminds us that he who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty, and 2 Thessalonians 3:3 assures us that the Lord is faithful, who will establish us and guard us from the evil one. For your health and healing we look to the Lord who is our healer, as Psalm 103:2-3 says to praise the Lord who heals all our diseases, and Isaiah 53:5 declares that by His wounds we are healed, and Jeremiah 30:17 gives His promise that He will restore health to us and heal us of our wounds. For deliverance from enemies and victory we stand on Psalm 34:17 that the righteous cry and the Lord hears and delivers them out of all their troubles, and on Romans 8:37 that in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us, and 1 Corinthians 15:57 that thanks be to God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

We also want to gently encourage you about something we noticed in your request. You asked for God and the Lord to help you, but you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want to share why this is so important, because it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God and it is only through Him that we are saved. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6 that He is the way, the truth, and the life and no one comes to the Father except through Him, and Acts 4:12 teaches that there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved, and 1 Timothy 2:5 tells us there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. To come to God we must believe that Jesus is the Son of God, that He died for our sins and rose again, and we must call upon His name in repentance and faith. It is in His name that our prayers are heard and our victories are secured.

We pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one to You. We ask that You would walk with them through every trial and give them endurance, peace and hope, and that Your presence would be their refuge and strength. We ask for Your divine protection over them and Your faithful provision for every need, spiritual, physical and material, according to Your riches in glory. We lay their body before You and ask for Your healing hand to touch them, to restore health, to ease pain and to bring wholeness as You alone can. We ask that You deliver them from every enemy and from every scheme of the evil one, and that You would give them victory over all things through Christ who loves them. Strengthen their faith, remind them that You hear the cry of the righteous, and let them know the comfort of Your victory in their life. We ask that they would know Jesus more deeply and trust fully in His name for salvation, access and answered prayer. We pray all these things in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, amen.

We hear how much you are carrying right now and we are grateful you reached out to let us pray with you. Walking through ongoing trials can be exhausting, especially when needs for protection, provision and health all press at once. Please know you are not forgotten and you do not have to face this alone.

We are joining you in asking God for His steady help day by day, for His care over your body and for wisdom as you seek answers for your health. Alongside prayer, if you have not already, we encourage you to stay connected with a trusted medical professional for any ongoing health concerns, so they can walk with you in that part of the journey too. It can also help to share one or two of these burdens with a pastor or a trusted friend who can check in and pray with you regularly, rather than carrying everything quietly by yourself.

We are praying for you to sense God's nearness and provision in practical ways, and for strength and peace as you wait on Him.

Father, we lift our friend to You and ask for Your protection, provision and healing according to Your will. Cover them in Your care, meet their daily needs, and give them victory and peace in You as they look to You through these trials. Comfort them, guide their steps, and let them know You are near. In Jesus' name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your cry in the midst of trials has been heard, and we join with you in bringing it before the throne of grace.

It is the lot of the child of God to undergo great spiritual trials, and not superficial trials such as are common to men, but deep and overwhelming trials which come to those who are favorites of Heaven and lean their heads on Jesus' bosom. If the Lord loves you, you will have strange trials, and you may have to go by a weeping cross many times between here and the gates of Heaven. Do not think, because you are upon a dunghill of affliction, that God has forgotten you, or that His ear is shut. The world may say so, and even your own heart may say so, but it is not so. The conduct of the child of God in such depression of spirit is to turn to the Lord Himself. We go rambling round and round to find peace, but we shall find it much better at home in our closets with our God. Seek ye the Lord, ye tried and troubled ones, and ye shall find your troubles stayed and your trials sweetly alleviated. Pour out your heart before Him as Jacob did at the brook Jabbok, and you shall yet find that He can turn the fear and trembling into deliverance.

You have asked for health and healing for your body, and we bring your body and soul together to the great Physician. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. The leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. His very leaves do not wither, and they change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. When the Lord comes and dwells with His people, the Sun of Righteousness rises with healing in His wings. Healing and pardon are placed in happy conjunction, and when Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you. Pardon and healing were one. So we pray that as you look to Christ you may know both forgiveness and healing according to His wise and gracious will, for He alone does the work of true healing, and His touch makes whole.

You have asked for deliverance from your enemies and victory over all things. We have a far richer theme for song than Deborah had when she sang of the overthrow of Israel's enemies, for we have been delivered from worse enemies and saved by a greater salvation. Deliverance from a cruel captivity must be worked by the hand and outstretched arm of Jehovah alone. He makes deliverance effectual and He brings His people forth. This deliverance came when the Lamb was slain, and God has found a ransom. The prisoner ready to be executed hears the word, I have found a ransom, and his deliverance is certain because God Himself has proclaimed it. The King's own Son has borne the penalty, and therefore we do not doubt your deliverance. He who brought Israel forth with silver and gold will bring you forth also, and the gems of your grateful history will be your trials and deliverances.

Let us pray for you now.

O Lord our God, who hears the cries of Thy children, look upon this tried one. Grant protection in danger, provision for every need according to Thy riches in Christ Jesus, and healing for the body as it pleases Thy wisdom. Lay Thy healing hand upon every infirmity, and let the virtue that is in Christ, even in His leaves, flow down to heal. Deliver from the power of enemies, seen and unseen, and give victory over all things through Him who loved us. Keep this soul from despondency, and let it be felt that deliverance must be of free grace only, that all the honor may be Thine. Bring forth good out of trial, and cause this afflicted one to sing songs of deliverance around the well head of Thy mercy. In the name of Jesus our ransom and our healer, Amen.
