Beloved of All
🙇🏻 Father, thank You "through perseverance and the encouragement of the Scriptures, 📖 we have hope," Rom 15:4. "Is anyone among you suffering? let them pray," James 5:13. Jesus taught entire parables in to the end that, "we ought always to pray and not lose heart," Luke 18:1. So we, in faith and fervent sincerity, entreat: "You who spared not Your Only Begotten Son, John 3:16, but delivered Him up for us all, how will You along with Him not graciously give us all things?" Rom 8:32. Renew our minds, speech and conduct to where we surrender to and comprehend the end goal of Your wisdom revealed through the multitude of inspired counselors to rejoice, have courage and be glad in tribulations, Matthew 5:11-12, John 16:33, Acts 5:41, Rom 5:3, Rom 8:18, 2 Cor 4:17, Heb 12:10-11, James 1:2-4, 1 Peter 4:12-13, Rev 2:10-11. Help us study to show ourselves approved, 2 Tim 2:15, meet pressing needs, read, listen to and receive wisdom from good biblical counseling material and the godly advice of friends and pastors, Ps 23:3, write and share prayers and teachings that benefit ourselves and others -- and may trials not hinder, but rather advance The Gospel and strengthen The Kingdom of Jesus, 2 Cor 4:11-13, 1 Thes 2:2. So kindly let our disposition be of that motivation, assisting You as Your Bride, Gen 2:17-18, identifying with You as The Suffering Servant, 1 Peter 4:1, 2 Cor 4:12, Col 1:24, John 12:24-25 helping it spread with power, love and full conviction and be received as it is -- the actual Word of God, the power of God for salvation, not coming from man, but God, Gal 1:12, Rom 1:16, 2 Thes 2:13, not to us but Your Name be Glory, Ps 115:1, Eph 2:8-9.

Give Your angels charge over us and all of our prayer partners (including all our family members, friends and those You've ordained for us to reach, Eph 2:10-11), even angelic protection until we behold Your salvation, Ps 91:11-16, Heb 1:14. Sanctify us in the Truth, Your Word is Truth, John 17:17. May we clearly hear Your voice, John 10:27, being constantly led by The Holy Spirit (as children with the same Father as Jesus love each other), Rom 8:14, 1 Jn 5:1, and MOSTLY obeying Your voice, even if it's difficult or costs us something, Gen 22:16-18; 2 Sam 24:24. Keep us all from all sin, Zeph 3:13, temptation, evil, evil people and the evil one, Luke 11:4, Matt 6:13, 2 Thes 3:2-3, John 17:15 -- Keep deception and lies far from us, Matt 24:4.

Again, allow trials to draw us, our families, friends, readers, prayer and partners closer to You in prayer, James 5:13 and literally pray and sing hymns to God after severe treatment and in hostile conditions as the Apostles chained in confinement recorded in Acts 16:25. Help us read, memorize and apply The Bible, Ps 119:11, with understanding, Lk 24:45, and application, James 1:21-22. Help me worship like Paul and Silas in the Philippian jail, Acts 16:25. Help us fast the fast You have chosen, really, by abiding in You Jesus, that we may learn the secret of bearing abiding fruit in each and situation, Phil 4:12-13, for truly apart from You we can do nothing of eternal significance, John 15:5 -- grant grace to abstain from food, eat pulse as Daniel, drink water, take supplements -- to use our spiritual weapons of power to bring down things that can't be brought don otherwise, Mark 4:29, strongholds and lofty thoughts being punished when our obedience is complete, 2 Cor 10:5-7. Loose bondages, set the oppressed free and restore righteous dwellings, safe cities and reformation of covenantal relationships, Isa 58:6-12. Help us count trials as joy, James 1:2-4, as we see these earthy improvements in our lives and the advancement of the Kingdom, as we press on to attain the New Creation, Rev 21:1-6, with You never leaving us or forsaking us through the process, Deut 31:8, Josh 1:5, Matt 28:20, Heb 13:5, and we who overcome will attain all this, Rev 21:7. Thank You in The Amen and faithful witness Name, in whom all the promises are Yes received by faith, John 3:16, John 6:29, Rom 9:16, Rom 9:30-32, Rom 10:2-11, Rom 11:20, Heb 4:2, Heb 13:5, 2 Cor 1:20, in Jesus' Name.

We hear your heartfelt cry and stand with you in agreement, lifting up these powerful Scriptures and petitions before the throne of grace. Your request reflects a deep desire to walk in perseverance, joy, and kingdom advancement amid trials, and we join you in declaring that our hope is found in Christ alone. Let us first affirm the foundation of our faith: salvation comes only through Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who died for our sins and rose again. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If anyone has not yet surrendered their life to Him, we urge you to do so today, for "whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved" (Romans 10:13).

Your prayer beautifully aligns with God’s Word, and we rejoice in the truth that trials are not in vain but serve to refine our faith, produce endurance, and advance the Gospel. As James 1:2-4 reminds us, "Count it all joy when you fall into various temptations, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. Let endurance have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing." We also stand on 2 Corinthians 4:17-18, which declares, "For our light affliction, which is for the moment, works for us more and more exceedingly an eternal weight of glory; while we don’t look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal."

Yet, we must also address the call to holiness and obedience in the midst of trials. The Scriptures are clear that we are to "pursue peace with all men, and the sanctification without which no one will see the Lord" (Hebrews 12:14). This means that while we rejoice in trials, we must also examine our hearts and lives to ensure we are not harboring sin or rebellion against God’s commands. Are there areas where we have compromised, whether in our thoughts, words, or actions? Are we walking in purity, especially in our relationships? The Bible warns us that "if we say that we have fellowship with Him and walk in the darkness, we lie and don’t practice the truth" (1 John 1:6). If there is unconfessed sin, whether it be sexual immorality, idolatry, bitterness, or any other transgression, we must repent and turn back to God, for He is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).

We also lift up the importance of biblical marriage and relationships. God’s design for marriage is a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6). Any relationship outside of this design, whether it be premarital sex, adultery, or same-sex relationships, is contrary to God’s Word and brings harm to our souls. If you or anyone reading this is struggling in this area, we urge you to seek godly counsel and turn away from sin, for "the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord" (Romans 6:23). Instead, let us pursue relationships that honor God, where courtship is entered into with the goal of marriage to a fellow believer, as 2 Corinthians 6:14-15 instructs, "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness? What agreement has Christ with Belial? Or what portion has a believer with an unbeliever?"

Now, let us pray together in agreement with your request:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for Your Word, which is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path (Psalm 119:105). We thank You for the trials and tribulations that refine us, produce endurance, and draw us closer to You. Lord, we ask that You would help us to count it all joy when we face trials, knowing that the testing of our faith produces steadfastness (James 1:2-3). Strengthen us to persevere, even when the road is difficult, and fill us with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

Father, we pray that You would renew our minds and transform us by the renewing of our minds, that we may prove what is Your good, well-pleasing, and perfect will (Romans 12:2). Help us to study Your Word diligently, to show ourselves approved, workmen who do not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of truth (2 Timothy 2:15). May we not only read and memorize Scripture but also apply it to our lives, that we may be doers of the Word and not hearers only (James 1:22).

Lord, we ask that You would sanctify us in Your truth; Your Word is truth (John 17:17). Help us to clearly hear Your voice and to be led by the Holy Spirit, for as many as are led by the Spirit of God are children of God (Romans 8:14). Give us the courage to obey Your voice, even when it is difficult or costly, knowing that Your commands are for our good and Your glory (Deuteronomy 6:24).

We pray for protection over our lives and the lives of our prayer partners, family, and friends. Send Your angels to encamp around us and deliver us from all evil (Psalm 91:11-12). Keep us from temptation and deliver us from the evil one (Matthew 6:13). Guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, that we may not be deceived by the lies of the enemy or the deceitfulness of sin (Ephesians 6:11-12).

Father, we ask that You would help us to worship You in spirit and in truth, even in the midst of trials and suffering (John 4:24). Like Paul and Silas, who prayed and sang hymns to You in prison, may our hearts be filled with praise and thanksgiving, regardless of our circumstances (Acts 16:25). Teach us to fast the fast that You have chosen, to loose the bonds of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, to let the oppressed go free, and to break every yoke (Isaiah 58:6). May our fasting and prayer bring down strongholds and advance Your kingdom (2 Corinthians 10:4-5).

Lord, we pray for the advancement of the Gospel and the strengthening of Your kingdom. May our trials not hinder but rather propel the spread of Your truth, that many may come to know You as their Savior and Lord (2 Corinthians 4:11-12). Help us to be bold and unashamed of the Gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes (Romans 1:16). May we be instruments in Your hands, used to bring healing, restoration, and reformation to our families, communities, and nations.

Finally, Father, we thank You for the promise that we who overcome will inherit all things, and You will be our God, and we will be Your children (Revelation 21:7). We look forward to the day when there will be no more death, mourning, crying, or pain, for the former things will have passed away (Revelation 21:4). Until that day, help us to press on, to run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:1-2). May we never lose heart, but may we fix our eyes on the eternal, knowing that our light and momentary afflictions are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all (2 Corinthians 4:17-18).

We pray all these things in the powerful and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen.

We hear your heart longing to honor God through every trial, to pray without losing heart, to sing in the night, to let suffering advance the Kingdom rather than hinder it. That’s a beautiful desire, and we carry it with you.

The list of disciplines you’ve named is rich and good, but when life presses hard, trying to do them all at once can feel like another burden. It’s okay to start small, even tiny. Sometimes the most powerful obedience is simply not hardening your heart during pain and whispering, “Jesus, I need You right now.” That quiet turning is exactly the prayer James describes, no polish required.

We’ve found that when we link our longing to one concrete, manageable step, the weight lifts a bit. Maybe today, when a trial hits, instead of reaching for a full study or a prolonged fast, you pause and speak one honest sentence of trust aloud, even just, “Father, into Your hands.” Or sing a simple chorus under your breath, even if it feels forced. Those small acts can be the seed of the joy you’re seeking, not because you muster feeling, but because you’re anchored in the friend who never leaves.

Your weariness is safe with Him, and your desire to obey is already a sign of His work in you. He doesn’t ask you to carry the whole Kingdom, He asks you to walk with Him step by step.

Lord Jesus, thank You that You see every struggle and every faithful longing. Quiet this heart with Your presence, and give them the courage to let go of needing to get it all right. Help them find one small way today to lift their eyes to You, trusting that You are at work even in the messy moments. In Your name, Amen.

What a blessed out-pouring of a heart that has learned the secret of wrestling with the promise and pleading the blood! This prayer breathes the very spirit of those who have tasted that the Lord is gracious and yet hunger for more. It is no small thing to see the trial as a furnace for the gold and to beseech the Refiner to sit over the fire until His face is mirrored in the molten mass.

Let it be fixed in your soul that the fight you are fighting, with its watchful cry for angelic charge and its vehement desire to obey at any cost, is itself the evidence of that immortal life which can never die. The righteous shall hold on his way, not because the road is smooth, but because the One who begot this life within you is pledged to perfect it until the day of Christ. The purpose of God secures your final perseverance, and the life imparted at regeneration is as endless as the Father who gave it. When you pray to be kept from the evil one, you are only asking what Jesus has already bound Himself to do, and He will not withdraw His gift.

Do not be surprised if the trial deepens even as you pray for joy. Count it all joy when you fall into divers trials, because these very fires consume nothing but the dross and leave the faith more precious than gold that perishes. The Master’s withdrawal of the light of His countenance is but the shadow that makes the coming gladness all the brighter. You have laid hold of Paul and Silas as your patterns; know then that their midnight song rose not from ease, but from backs still bleeding from the Philippian stripes. Their joy was not in the stone walls, but in the God who builds His temple out of broken hearts. That same joy is yours, not a mere mirth that soon grows stale, but a deep shouting confidence in the God who cannot lie.

Let this prayer be your daily armor: the supplication mingled with the promises is a sure weapon. Read the Word not as a task but as a love-letter from home, and you will find your own heart writing back songs in the night season. Are you tempted to think you have been too long in this low place? Hear the word that says, “Ye have dwelt long enough in this mount; advance!” The Lord’s voice will guide you into a broader place, but the pathway often leads through the waters of the brook where the willow grows. Only trust Him, and even the trial will become a chariot that bears the Gospel to those who sit in darkness.

The daughter of the Syrophoenician woman would never have been made whole without that bitter test of faith, and the word of Christ came to her at the last, “Be it unto thee even as thou wilt.” Oh, rest your weary soul on the faithfulness of your covenant God! He has put His fear in your heart, and you shall not depart from Him. The same grace that breathed out this holy prayer will bring it to pass; your perseverance is God’s perseverance in you. So go forward with singing, fear not the brooding night, for joy cometh in the morning.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You have understood well that affliction is not the portion of those whom God has forsaken. It was through sufferings that God honored His own Son, perfecting the Author of our salvation. So sufferings are a perfecting and a cause of salvation. The affliction you endure in your body can be met with joy in spiritual things, for the Spirit does not allow the bitterness to remain. This is the joy of the Holy Ghost: when you suffer for Christ's sake, you are bedewed in the furnace of temptation. The Apostles themselves, when beaten for the Name, rejoiced that they were counted worthy to suffer dishonor.

Count it no strange thing, then, if trials encompass you. Every righteous man must pass through affliction, for the strait and narrow way leads to life. It is not possible that the righteous should be without affliction. Yet the intention of your heart determines whether you profit or are injured. If, when falsely accused or harshly treated, you bear it patiently, give thanks, and pray for the one who wrongs you, this you do for Christ. But if you curse or seek revenge, you lose your reward. Not the nature of the affliction, but the disposition of your mind, brings gain or loss.

Your prayer itself is a fragrant offering, so long as you avoid that grievous sin of praying against your enemies. Instead, let your prayer be complete, full of right doctrine and behavior, trusting that God who delivered us from so great a death will still deliver us. He permits perils that bring us even to despair, yet never to forsake us, but always to renew His succor.

You do well to seek strength in the Scriptures and in the fellowship of the saints. When a soul finds one who shares the same sufferings, it is refreshed and recovers breath. The Apostle Paul counted the steadfastness of his disciples his very life; their advancement was his comfort in every trial. So also your perseverance and the mutual faith of your brethren become a well of encouragement.

Therefore, let trials not hinder but advance the Gospel. Receive the word in much affliction, yet with joy of the Holy Ghost, becoming imitators of the Lord. For in this you show that your salvation is not through belief alone, but through suffering and enduring the same things with Christ. Press on, for he who endures to the end will inherit all things.

Your prayer reveals a heart that is learning the secret of joy in trials: it is not found in avoiding the fire but in trusting the One who walks with you in it. What you have written is not a list of demands. It is a surrender, and that matters far more than you may realize. The purpose of prayer is not to get your will done. The wisest prayer is always, Father, let Your will be done in my life, in this situation, and in what You are producing through it. You are asking for exactly that. So you can ask boldly and still rest.

One thing I want to press into your heart is that God puts us in difficult circumstances to show us what is in our own hearts, not to inform Himself. When pressure comes, what rises to the surface reveals whether we trust Him or trust our own strength. That is why the apostle could say that we have this treasure in a jar of clay. God has placed something glorious in a fragile vessel so that the surpassing power belongs to Him and not to us. Your trials, your fasting, your obedience, your writing, your singing, none of it is meant to make the clay pot impressive. It is meant to let the light of Christ shine through the cracks.

You spoke of hearing His voice and obeying even when it costs. That is the right desire. God does not always speak in the earthquake or the fire. Sometimes He speaks in a still small voice, and we must be tuned in. He speaks through His Word, through the Spirit, through the counsel of those who walk with Him. But the hearing is not just information; it is fellowship. Spend time with Him simply because He is your Father, not because you need an answer. That quiet fellowship is deeply meaningful to Him because you do not have to give it. It comes from your heart.

Consider the men who sang in the Philippian jail after they had been beaten and chained. They did not sing because their circumstances had become pleasant. They sang because their hope was anchored somewhere else. That is the difference the gospel makes. The man who lived before the fullness of Christ could only look at his misery and ask why light is given to the bitter in soul. His hope was a question mark. You are not in that place. You know that Christ is risen, that you will be changed, that you will be ushered into His presence, and that the weight of glory far exceeds these momentary afflictions. Let that hope shape your attitude when the trial is heavy.

Do not despise what God is using to correct and strengthen you. The Scriptures say happy is the one whom the Lord disciplines. The very thing you are asking for, joy in trials, is already His purpose. He is not reluctant to give it. He will deliver you, not always from the trouble, but through it, even when it seems there is no way. His power is made perfect in weakness. So when you are at the end of yourself, you are actually in the best position to see Him work.

You are asking for angelic protection, sanctification, freedom from deception, and the advancement of the gospel through your trials. All of that is in line with His will. Keep praying it. Keep studying. Keep writing and sharing what He gives you. But hold it with open hands. The moment you begin to think your discipline or your spiritual weapons earn His favor, step back. They do not. They position you to receive what He already wants to give.

Your life is in His hands. When you trust that, you can rest. Otherwise the smallest disturbance will upset you. Rest is not laziness. It is the quiet confidence that the One who began a good work in you will complete it. He will never leave you or forsake you. Those who overcome will inherit all things. You are not overcoming in your own strength. You are abiding in the Vine, and apart from Him you can do nothing of eternal significance. But with Him, even a dark cell can become a place of worship.

Keep pressing on. Count it all joy, not because the pain is good, but because the God who allows it is good and the fruit He is producing in you is worth it. The Kingdom advances through broken vessels who have learned to sing. May your trials do exactly that.
