Beloved of All
🙇🏻 Father, thank You "through perseverance and the encouragement of the Scriptures, 📖 we have hope," Rom 15:4. "Is anyone among you suffering? let them pray," James 5:13. Jesus taught entire parables in to the end that, "we ought always to pray and not lose heart," Luke 18:1. So we, in faith and fervent sincerity, entreat: "You who spared not Your Only Begotten Son, John 3:16, but delivered Him up for us all, how will You along with Him not graciously give us all things?" Rom 8:32. Renew our minds, speech and conduct to where we surrender to and comprehend the end goal of Your wisdom revealed through the multitude of inspired counselors to rejoice, have courage and be glad in tribulations, Matthew 5:11-12, John 16:33, Acts 5:41, Rom 5:3, Rom 8:18, 2 Cor 4:17, Heb 12:10-11, James 1:2-4, 1 Peter 4:12-13, Rev 2:10-11. Help us study to show ourselves approved, 2 Tim 2:15, meet pressing needs, read, listen to and receive wisdom from good biblical counseling material and the godly advice of friends and pastors, Ps 23:3, write and share prayers and teachings that benefit ourselves and others -- and may trials not hinder, but rather advance The Gospel and strengthen The Kingdom of Jesus, 2 Cor 4:11-13, 1 Thes 2:2. So kindly let our disposition be of that motivation, assisting You as Your Bride, Gen 2:17-18, identifying with You as The Suffering Servant, 1 Peter 4:1, 2 Cor 4:12, Col 1:24, John 12:24-25 helping it spread with power, love and full conviction and be received as it is -- the actual Word of God, the power of God for salvation, not coming from man, but God, Gal 1:12, Rom 1:16, 2 Thes 2:13, not to us but Your Name be Glory, Ps 115:1, Eph 2:8-9.

Give Your angels charge over us and all of our prayer partners (including all our family members, friends and those You've ordained for us to reach, Eph 2:10-11), even angelic protection until we behold Your salvation, Ps 91:11-16, Heb 1:14. Sanctify us in the Truth, Your Word is Truth, John 17:17. May we clearly hear Your voice, John 10:27, being constantly led by The Holy Spirit (as children with the same Father as Jesus love each other), Rom 8:14, 1 Jn 5:1, and MOSTLY obeying Your voice, even if it's difficult or costs us something, Gen 22:16-18; 2 Sam 24:24. Keep us all from all sin, Zeph 3:13, temptation, evil, evil people and the evil one, Luke 11:4, Matt 6:13, 2 Thes 3:2-3, John 17:15 -- Keep deception and lies far from us, Matt 24:4.

Again, allow trials to draw us, our families, friends, readers, prayer and partners closer to You in prayer, James 5:13 and literally pray and sing hymns to God after severe treatment and in hostile conditions as the Apostles chained in confinement recorded in Acts 16:25. Help us read, memorize and apply The Bible, Ps 119:11, with understanding, Lk 24:45, and application, James 1:21-22. Help me worship like Paul and Silas in the Philippian jail, Acts 16:25. Help us fast the fast You have chosen, really, by abiding in You Jesus, that we may learn the secret of bearing abiding fruit in each and situation, Phil 4:12-13, for truly apart from You we can do nothing of eternal significance, John 15:5 -- grant grace to abstain from food, eat pulse as Daniel, drink water, take supplements -- to use our spiritual weapons of power to bring down things that can't be brought don otherwise, Mark 4:29, strongholds and lofty thoughts being punished when our obedience is complete, 2 Cor 10:5-7. Loose bondages, set the oppressed free and restore righteous dwellings, safe cities and reformation of covenantal relationships, Isa 58:6-12. Help us count trials as joy, James 1:2-4, as we see these earthy improvements in our lives and the advancement of the Kingdom, as we press on to attain the New Creation, Rev 21:1-6, with You never leaving us or forsaking us through the process, Deut 31:8, Josh 1:5, Matt 28:20, Heb 13:5, and we who overcome will attain all this, Rev 21:7. Thank You in The Amen and faithful witness Name, in whom all the promises are Yes received by faith, John 3:16, John 6:29, Rom 9:16, Rom 9:30-32, Rom 10:2-11, Rom 11:20, Heb 4:2, Heb 13:5, 2 Cor 1:20, in Jesus' Name.

We hear your heartfelt cry and stand with you in agreement, lifting up these sacred truths before the throne of grace. Your prayer is steeped in Scripture, and we rejoice in the way you cling to God’s promises even in the midst of trials. The Word declares, "For our light affliction, which is for the moment, works for us more and more exceedingly an eternal weight of glory; while we don’t look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal" (2 Corinthians 4:17-18). This is the perspective we must hold fast to, trials are not in vain, but are shaping us for an eternal weight of glory that far outweighs any suffering here.

We also affirm your desire to advance the Kingdom, for Jesus Himself taught that the Gospel must be preached to all nations before the end comes (Matthew 24:14). Every trial, every hardship, can be redeemed for His glory when we surrender it to Him. The apostles rejoiced that they were counted worthy to suffer dishonor for the Name (Acts 5:41), and we too must see persecution, opposition, and even personal struggles as opportunities to display the power of Christ in us. "For to you it has been granted on behalf of Christ, not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer for His sake" (Philippians 1:29). This is a high calling, and we must walk in it with courage.

Yet even as we rejoice in suffering, we must also guard our hearts against sin, deception, and the schemes of the enemy. You rightly pray for protection from evil, for the enemy prowls like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8). We must be sober and vigilant, putting on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18) so that we may stand firm. Trials can either draw us closer to God or drive us into bitterness, fear, or compromise, let us choose the former, knowing that "the testing of your faith produces endurance. Let endurance have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing" (James 1:3-4).

We also lift up your desire to study, memorize, and apply Scripture. This is essential, for "Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path" (Psalm 119:105). Without the Word, we are easily led astray. We encourage you to meditate on it day and night (Joshua 1:8), for it is the sword of the Spirit (Ephesians 6:17) and the means by which we renew our minds (Romans 12:2). Let us not be hearers only, but doers of the Word (James 1:22), for faith without works is dead (James 2:17).

Your prayer also touches on fasting and spiritual warfare. Fasting is a powerful tool when done with the right heart, "Isn’t this the fast that I have chosen: to release the bonds of wickedness, to undo the straps of the yoke, to let the oppressed go free, and that you break every yoke?" (Isaiah 58:6). It is not about earning God’s favor, but about humbling ourselves before Him, seeking His face, and aligning our hearts with His will. When combined with prayer, fasting breaks strongholds and releases God’s power in ways that nothing else can.

We also stand with you in declaring that trials must advance the Gospel, not hinder it. Paul and Silas sang hymns in prison, and the jailer and his household were saved (Acts 16:25-34). Joseph endured betrayal and slavery, yet God used it to save nations (Genesis 50:20). Whatever you are facing, God can use it for His glory if you surrender it to Him. "And we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose" (Romans 8:28).

Finally, we affirm your longing for the New Creation, where there will be no more tears, pain, or death (Revelation 21:4). This hope sustains us in the midst of trials, for we know that our labor in the Lord is not in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58). Until then, let us press on, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer. We thank You for Your Word, which is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path. We thank You for the trials You allow, knowing that they produce endurance, character, and hope. Lord, we surrender every struggle, every hardship, and every opposition into Your hands, asking that You use them to advance Your Kingdom and draw us closer to You.

Father, we ask for angelic protection over us, our families, and all those You have called us to reach. Guard us from the evil one, from deception, and from every scheme of the enemy. Sanctify us in Your truth, for Your Word is truth. Help us to hear Your voice clearly, to be led by Your Spirit, and to obey You even when it is difficult.

Lord, we ask for grace to study Your Word diligently, to memorize it, and to apply it in every area of our lives. May we be doers of the Word and not hearers only. Teach us to fast with the right heart, seeking Your face and breaking every yoke of bondage. Empower us to worship You in spirit and in truth, even in the midst of trials, just as Paul and Silas did in prison.

Father, we declare that no trial is wasted, You will use it for Your glory and for the advancement of Your Kingdom. Help us to count it all joy when we face trials, knowing that the testing of our faith produces endurance. Strengthen us to press on toward the goal, the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

We thank You, Lord, that You are with us always, even to the end of the age. We thank You that You never leave us nor forsake us. We thank You that all Your promises are "Yes" and "Amen" in Christ Jesus. May we walk in faith, trusting in Your goodness, Your power, and Your perfect plan for our lives.

We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

What a beautiful and fervent prayer you’ve lifted before the Lord. The longing to see trials become a doorway for deeper intimacy with God and the advance of the gospel is something we share with you. There’s a profound mystery in what you’ve described: when we choose to pray and sing in the middle of hardship, like Paul and Silas in that jail, something shifts in us. It’s not that the pain disappears, but that our worship anchors us in the reality that God is near and still at work, even when we can’t see it. That kind of surrendered praise can turn a prison into a sanctuary.

One thing that might help keep this perspective alive is to continue what you’re already doing: writing out your prayers and the Scriptures that are sustaining you. Not only does it clarify your own heart before God, but those words may become a well of encouragement for others who are struggling. Sharing what you’ve written with a trusted friend or in a small group can become a quiet yet powerful way to strengthen the body of Christ, just as you’ve done right here. Handwritten prayers have a way of speaking with tenderness long after we first pour them out.

We’re glad to be your prayer partners in this.

Father, thank you for this dear one’s heart that longs to honor you even in affliction. Help them to sense your nearness when they sing, to hear your voice when they study your Word, and to find joy not in the trial itself but in the fellowship it deepens with you. Keep them from discouragement, and use every hard place to produce a harvest of righteousness in their life and in the lives of those they touch. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Your prayer rises like incense before the throne, laden with holy desire. It is well when a soul so thirsts after righteousness that it weaves Scripture into every breath, for the Word of God is the sword of the Spirit and the staff on which faith leans. You have asked to count it all joy when falling into divers trials, and herein you have laid hold of a truth most precious. Trials are not accidents; they are appointed. The Captain of our salvation was made perfect through suffering, and shall the soldier be at ease while his Lord wore thorns? Count it joy, not because the cross is light, but because the weight of it presses you closer to Christ. When the fire blazes, it burns up nothing but the dross, and the gold comes forth all the purer. So early in our pilgrimage we see reason to rejoice, for the trial is a proof of faith, and the proof of faith worketh patience.

You have entreated that tribulation might advance the kingdom. This is a noble ambition, worthy of a heart that has tasted that the Lord is gracious. The apostles sang in the Philippian jail, and their chains became a chariot for the gospel. So shall it be with you. When we suffer with that blessed Suffering Servant, the very stones cry out, and the life of Jesus is made manifest in our mortal flesh. Be not dismayed if the way is hedged with thorns; the night of weeping will soon give place to a morning of joy. You have prayed for final perseverance, and herein you touch a doctrine that was the master thought which drew my young heart to the Saviour. He who began a good work in you will perform it until the day of Christ. The righteous shall hold on his way, not because they are strong, but because the everlasting covenant is ordered in all things and sure. The life imparted at regeneration is an incorruptible seed, and He that gave it will not withdraw His gift. Rest in that iron cable of election and special redemption; it will hold when all else gives way.

Yet take heed, for this same perseverance is not a couch for sloth but a spur to holiness. The promise is that they shall not depart from God, and that is perseverance in sanctity. You have sought to fast, to pray, to hear the Shepherd’s voice, these are the very footprints of the flock. Obey that voice, even if it costs you dearly, like the patriarch on Moriah or the king at Araunah’s threshingfloor. The secret of bearing abiding fruit is first to abide; apart from Him you can do nothing, but in Christ you shall bring forth much fruit. You have asked that trials not hinder but advance the gospel, and so they shall, for the weakness of the saints is often a platform for the display of divine power.

Now, as one who has often dwelt long in a low place, I whisper to your heart: advance! There are higher reaches yet to be gained. He who brings you through the fire will lead you to the mount of spices. The brightness of His countenance may be veiled for a moment, but the trial that drives you to seek Him with stronger cries is a mercy in disguise. When you find no path, then you learn to trust; when the sea roars, then you see the rod stretched out. Be not content with yesterday’s manna; press on toward the inheritance that is incorruptible and undefiled and that fadeth not away. You are come to the blood of sprinkling that speaketh better things than that of Abel. Therefore, lift up the hands that hang down and the feeble knees. Should sorrow flood your spirit, remember that joy is a fruit of the Spirit from the root of trust in God. Sometimes we cry for joy, and sometimes we sit in mute adoration; both are the language of the redeemed.

Angels have charge over you; the sealed ones cannot perish. Keep reading, keep singing, keep spreading the savor of His name. The kingdom is not meat and drink, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Ghost. When you are sifted, you shall yet come forth as gold, and the trial of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perisheth, shall be found unto praise and honor and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ. To Him be glory forever.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You have asked for joy in trials and that the very sufferings might serve the gospel. This is a noble prayer, for it seeks the heart of the kingdom. Indeed, the kingdom of God is not meat and drink, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. When you set your mind on this, no outward affliction can steal that joy; it is rooted in what cannot be shaken.

Do not measure your state by the presence or absence of hardship, but by the steadfastness of your faith and the love you bear the brethren. The blessed Paul counted it life itself when the disciples stood fast in the Lord: “Now we live if ye stand fast.” In all his distress and affliction, their faith became his comfort. So also your trials become a share in his sufferings, and through your perseverance the gospel advances and the saints are strengthened. You are made a fellow-worker unto the kingdom, for those who partake of the trials become partakers of that kingdom.

Pray at all seasons, watching with all perseverance, and make supplication for all the saints, as you have begun. Ask boldly for utterance to open your mouth and make known the mystery of the gospel. Even mean and contemptible instruments of trial are to be endured with fortitude, for the Lord rewards each according to his works. Let your good be charity, unity, and peace, not disputation or anxiety over things that pass away. If you have found that pearl of great price, you have already sold all to possess it; let no fleeting trouble darken the joy of your purchase. Stand fast, then, and be comforted: your prayer is being answered, for the very longing for joy in tribulation is the work of the Spirit within you.
