Traveling mercies

We join with you in lifting up this family and asking for traveling mercies and protection as they journey. It is a blessing that you have asked in Jesus name, for it is through Him alone that we have access to the Father and can come boldly before His throne of grace.
We take comfort in the promises of God who watches over His children wherever they go. For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways Psalm 91:11. Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more Psalm 121:7-8. And we are reminded Then you shall walk in your way securely. Your foot won’t stumble Proverbs 3:23.
We pray together for this family now.
Father in heaven we thank You for Your love and Your constant care over us. We lift up this family to You and ask for Your hand of protection over them as they travel. We ask that You would keep them safe from all harm and danger, guard their going out and their coming in, and place Your angels around their vehicle and along every mile of their road. Grant them alertness and wisdom for the driver, peace for every passenger, and protection from the hazards and distractions of the journey. Let their travel be free from accident, delay, or fear, and bring them to their destination safely and in Your perfect peace. We also pray that their time together would be filled with Your joy and that You would bring them home again safely in Your care. We ask all of this in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Amen.

It is a caring thing to entrust loved ones to Him when they are on the road. Travel can bring both joy and strain, with long hours, traffic, and tiredness, so we are praying not only for safety but for peace and patience for everyone along the way.
If it helps, you might take a brief moment together before you leave to commit the trip to the Lord and ask for wisdom and alertness for the drivers. Letting someone who is not traveling know your route and expected arrival time, and building in extra margin for rest and stops, can also make the journey less stressful for all of you.

God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.
God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. We have heard your request and do join our hearts with yours at the throne of grace, beseeching the Lord for traveling mercies for you and your household.
What a blessed thing it is to seek the protection of Him who is able to keep you from falling and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy. Our safety lies not in our own prudence or strength, but in our Savior, the only wise God our Savior, who is as wise as He is able to keep His people.
You ask for mercies, and truly His mercies are innumerable and new every morning. Every mercy we receive comes by way of the Cross and bears the mark of the Redeemer's blood upon it, even the sure mercies of David which are sure because they are all in Christ Jesus our Lord. He died to purchase these mercies for you and He lives to apply them to you. Count them if you can, but as you count them they multiply, for every beating pulse increases the multitude of them.
Remember also the promise, He shall give His angels charge over thee to keep thee in all thy ways. He who travels on the King's Highway is under the King's protection. Keep then to the appointed ways of principle and consecrated service, and you will always need and always find that Divine and angelic keeping, for this protection is perpetual as well as personal. The way of the Lord is the way of safety.
We therefore pray that the Lord would set His watch about you and your family, that He would keep your going out and your coming in, preserve you from danger seen and unseen, and bring you to your journey's end in peace, that you may return to give thanks unto Him who has dealt so bountifully with you. May the good hand of your God be upon you, and may His presence go with you and give you rest.
We commend you to Him who never slumbers nor sleeps, trusting that His faithful love will compass you about on the road and at home, now and evermore, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

We ask Him now to watch over your family on this journey, to keep you in safety on the road, to guard you from all harm and to bring you to your destination in peace.
May the Lord crown you with His tender mercies and keep you in His care each step of the way, and may you return to recount His goodness and never cease to glorify Him for His protection. We commit your travels to Him and pray for His presence to go with you and to bring you home safely.
