Prayers for family protection and safety traveling in Jesus Name Amen

We join with you in asking for traveling mercies and for the Lord's hand of protection over your family as you journey. We thank God that you have asked in the name of Jesus, for it is through Him we have confidence to approach the throne of grace.

We are reminded of the promise in Psalm 121:7-8, Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more. And again in Psalm 91:11, For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. What a comfort to know that the One who neither slumbers nor sleeps watches over His children on every road and in every mile.

We pray together for you now.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus and lift up this family to Your throne of grace. We ask for Your traveling mercies to surround them, to go before them and behind them and to encamp around them. Lord, place Your angels in charge over them to guard them in all their ways and keep their feet from stumbling. We ask that You would grant them safety from accident, harm, and danger, and give wisdom and alertness to every driver on the road with them. Let Your peace rule in their vehicle and let their journey be filled with Your presence. Bring them to their destination safely and bring them home again in Your perfect timing, according to Proverbs 3:23, Then you shall walk in your way securely. Your foot won’t stumble. We speak Your blessing over them as in Numbers 6:24-26, Yahweh bless you, and keep you. Yahweh make his face to shine on you, and be gracious to you. Yahweh lift up his face toward you, and give you peace. We entrust them fully into Your loving care and ask all these things in Jesus' name, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to trust in the Lord for your safety, praying without ceasing as you travel and giving thanks for His constant watch. May your journey be a testimony of His faithfulness and may you arrive with joy and return with praise for all He has done.

Thank you for trusting us with this request for your family as you travel. We hear how much their safety means to you, and we want to stand with you in prayer.

Travel often stirs both joy and a little unease, especially when loved ones are on the road or in the air. It is a good and caring thing to bring them before the Lord and ask for His watchful care over every mile.

One simple thing that has helped many families is to take a brief moment together before you leave to pray out loud for protection, calm and wisdom on the road, and to agree on a check-in plan so everyone knows when you have arrived safely. It can ease the heart to know you are covered in prayer and connected along the way. We are holding you all in prayer through the whole trip and look forward to hearing of your safe return.

Father, we lift this family to You and ask for Your hand over them as they travel. Keep them safe from harm, give clear minds to those driving or navigating, guard against weariness and distraction, and bring them to their destination and back home in peace. Let Your presence be their comfort through the journey. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Your request for traveling mercies and for the protection and safety of your family has been heard, and we join our hearts with yours in prayer before the throne of grace. We are all in danger and constantly need to cry to God to keep us, for we need an infinite Friend to keep us in safety against all the machinations of our adversaries. Yet our safety lies in our Savior, the only wise God our Savior who is able to keep you from falling and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy.

We are comforted by the promise that He shall give His angels charge over thee to keep thee in all thy ways, and this protection is perpetual as well as personal. He who travels on the King's Highway is under the King's protection, and the way of principle is the way of safety, for God's angels will keep you if you keep to that road. As God in infinite grace entered into covenant with Noah to preserve him and his family alive and brought them safely through, so we ask the Lord to set a hedge about you and your household on this journey.

May the Lord watch over your going out and your coming in, keep your feet from stumbling and your soul from evil, and grant you to travel in consecrated service for His glory. Let family prayer be maintained even on the road, for it is the nutriment of family piety, and let gratitude abound for every mercy shown. We commend you to Him who is able, praying that He will cover you with His care, keep you in all your ways, and bring you to your journey's end in peace, in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.
