Dear Jesus,

I come before You today asking for Your divine protection over my son. Please go before him wherever he goes and bring him safely back home to his family.


Lord, send Your angels to surround him, protect him, guide him, and keep him safe from all harm and danger. Give him grace and favor everywhere he goes, and let Your presence be with him at all times.


Your Word says that no weapon formed against him shall prosper, and I declare that no weapon, harm, danger, or evil will rise against him or prevail over him, in the mighty name of Jesus.


Father, I ask You to remove every obstacle and open every door for the business he is going to carry out. May everything go smoothly and successfully according to Your will. Give him wisdom, discernment, favor, and protection throughout the entire process.


Please watch over him on his journey, protect him on the road, and guide every step he takes. Bring him safely back home to his family, healthy, protected, and blessed.


I place my son completely in Your hands, Lord, trusting in Your love, Your power, and Your protection.

We join you in lifting up your son before the throne of grace and we agree with you for his traveling mercies, protection, and safe return home to his family.

What a beautiful and faith filled prayer you have prayed over him. We stand with you in declaring the promises of God over his life and his journey. We are comforted to know that the Lord Himself watches over His children wherever they go.

We are reminded of the assurance in Psalm 121:7-8 that Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forevermore. And in Psalm 91:11-12 it says For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won't dash your foot against a stone. We claim this protection over your son, that the Lord would indeed command His angels to surround him, guide him, and keep him safe from all harm and danger on the road and in every place he sets his foot.

We also agree with your declaration from Isaiah 54:17 that No weapon that is formed against you will prevail. We pray that no weapon, no scheme of the enemy, no accident or evil will prosper against him, but that the favor and presence of God will go before him and behind him.

We also lift up the business he is going to carry out. We pray that the Lord would remove every obstacle, open every door according to His perfect will, and grant your son wisdom, discernment, and favor throughout the entire process. We pray as Proverbs 3:5-6 teaches, that he would trust in Yahweh with all his heart and not lean on his own understanding, and in all his ways acknowledge him, and he will make his paths straight.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty and precious name of Jesus, and we place this beloved son completely in Your hands. Lord, we ask that You go before him wherever he goes. We encourage you to continue to trust the Lord and to rest in His peace while your son is away, knowing that he is in the care of our faithful Shepherd who never slumbers nor sleeps. We are moved by your love for your son and the way you have placed him fully in Jesus' hands as he travels for business. It is a beautiful thing to cover a child in prayer, whatever his age, and to ask the Lord to go before him and bring him home.

Waiting while someone we love is on the road can leave our hearts restless, even when we trust God. One small thing that has helped other parents is to agree on a simple check in time with their son, a quick text when he arrives or before he heads home, so you are not left wondering. And when worry rises between those moments, it can help to turn that very worry into a brief prayer, handing him back to the Lord again.

We join you in trusting God's care over him, for his safety, his decisions, and the work before him, and we also pray for peace for you as you wait.

Father, we lift this dear son to You. Watch over him on every mile, give him wisdom and favor in his business, and guide his steps. Keep him from harm and bring him home healthy and well to his family in Your timing. And give his mother Your quiet peace as she trusts You. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Your prayer for your son has been laid before the Lord and we join our hearts with yours in asking for His keeping power over him.

It is a sweet and right thing for a parent to place a child in the hands of God, for there is no safer shelter than to abide under the shadow of the Almighty. As it is written, He shall cover thee with His feathers, and under His wings shalt thou trust. There is not only protection from danger vouchsafed there, but a sense of home and of tender nearness, for the Lord spreads His wings over His own as a mother over her young, and His love and faithfulness are our shield. When a man walks in the way of the Lord and commits his journey to Him, he may rest that he is safe, and that nearness to God is blessedness indeed.

We are reminded also that we sail in the good ship of Providence with a Captain who has foreseen and foreordained all things from the beginning even unto the end. An earthly captain cannot promise an absolutely safe passage, for he knows not what may occur upon the voyage, but our God knows the end from the beginning and every hour and every place of difficulty is secure to the faithful servant who rests beneath the wings of the eternal God. Therefore we need not venture upon a single day without first seeking Divine protection, and having sought it, we may go forward in quiet confidence.

We will pray with you now to that end.

O Lord our God, we thank Thee for Thy innumerable mercies which we cannot count, and for the sure mercies of David which Thou hast given us in Christ Jesus our Lord, in whom there is salvation and real and everlasting mercy. We place this son before Thee and ask that Thou wouldst go before him and be his rear guard. Send Thy holy angels to encamp around him, to guide and to keep him from all harm and danger, and let Thy presence be his continual companion.

We plead Thy promise that no weapon formed against Thy people shall prosper, and we ask that Thou wouldst frustrate every evil design and keep him from all harm according to Thy perfect will. Grant him wisdom and discernment in every matter of business set before him, remove obstacles where it pleaseth Thee, open doors that no man can shut, and cause all things to go smoothly and successfully as seemeth good in Thy sight. Give him favor with those he meets, and keep his heart stayed upon Thee.

Watch over his going out and his coming in, guard his steps upon the road, preserve him in health and safety, and bring him again in peace to his family, that his return may be with rejoicing and thanksgiving to Thy name. We place him completely in Thy hands, trusting not in our own care but in Thy love and Thy power and Thy faithful protection, through Jesus Christ our Lord, in whose precious name we pray. Amen.

Your prayer for your son is heard with joy and I join my heart with yours in bringing him before the Lord. It is a beautiful and faithful thing to place your child in the hands of God whenever he must travel far from home.

I pray with you that the Lord will go before him and come behind him, that He will keep him on every road and guard every step he takes. May the Lord command His angels to watch over him, to protect him from harm and danger, and to guide him in wisdom and peace. May no weapon formed against him prosper, and may every plan of the enemy be brought to nothing by the power of Jesus Christ.

I also join you in asking for favor and wisdom for the work he is going to do. May God remove every obstacle that is not of Him, open every door that is according to His will, and grant your son clarity, discernment and grace in every conversation and decision.
