Traveling mercies

We join with you in lifting up your family before the throne of grace and asking for the Lord's traveling mercies and protection over every mile of your journey. It is a beautiful thing to call upon the name of Jesus for safety, for we know that our help comes from the Lord who made heaven and earth.
We are reminded of the promises of God for those who trust in Him as they go out and come in. Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forevermore. Psalm 121:7-8. And again, For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. Psalm 91:11. We also cling to the assurance that Then you shall walk in your way securely. Your foot won’t stumble. Proverbs 3:23.
We pray together for you and your family.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, and we thank You for Your loving care over this family. We ask that You place Your hand of protection over them as they travel. Guard them from all danger, accident, and harm, and keep their vehicle and their path secure. Send Your angels to encamp around them and to guide them safely to their destination and back home again. Grant them peace and rest on the journey, keep the drivers alert and refreshed, and let no fear or anxiety trouble their hearts. May this time of travel draw them closer to You and to one another, and may they arrive safely to testify of Your goodness and mercy. We trust You as our refuge and fortress, and we pray all these things in the name of Jesus, believing that You hear us and keep us. Amen.
We encourage you to continue to trust in the Lord with all your heart as you travel, praying without ceasing and giving thanks in all circumstances. Do not be anxious, for God has promised Fear not, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10. Go in peace, knowing that He who watches over Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps, and He watches over you as well.

We are so glad you brought your family before the Lord for traveling mercies. It is a loving thing to cover those you care about in prayer when they are on the road, and we want to stand with you in that.

Your request for traveling mercies and for the protection and safety of your family has been brought before the Lord and we join our hearts with yours in prayer in the name of Jesus Christ, our only Savior.
We are reminded that we all stand in need of keeping, for we are in danger of falling and of many perils by the way, and we constantly need to cry to God to keep us. Our safety lies not in ourselves but in our Savior, for He is able to keep you from falling and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy. What a grand thing it is to feel that His throne might sooner fail than that one of His saints should perish, for His throne itself is established in righteousness.
It is written that He shall give His angels charge over thee to keep thee in all thy ways, and he who travels on the King's Highway is under the King's protection. The way of principle and the way of consecrated service for God's glory is the way of safety, and this protection is both personal and perpetual, for the Lord knows how to preserve His own whether in the home or upon the road. As He entered into covenant with Noah to preserve him and his family alive, so He still watches over the households that seek Him, and we pray that family prayer and trust in Christ may be the nutriment of your piety as you go forth and as you return.
Let us pray together. O Thou only wise God our Savior, we ask in the name of Jesus that Thou wouldst spread Thy hand over this family in their traveling. Keep them in all their ways, guard them from harm and from falling, and bring them to their journey's end in peace. Let them walk in Thy appointed ways, abiding under Thy gracious providence, and grant them gratitude for every mercy shown. Keep their souls even as Thou keepest their bodies, and present them at last faultless before Thy glory with exceeding joy, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
