We join you in thanksgiving for the blessings God has already poured out and we lift up your request for traveling mercies and for your family before the throne of grace together in Jesus' name.
We are grateful you prayed in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that our prayers are heard. As it is written, There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, 1 Timothy 2:5.
We pray for your safety as you travel to and from the hospital to see your son. We ask the Lord to guard your going out and your coming in and to place His hand of protection over every mile. We claim His promise that Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more, Psalm 121:8, and that For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways, Psalm 91:11. We pray for alertness, for protection from harm and for peace as you travel, and that the Lord would also be present with your son in the hospital, bringing comfort, healing and strength according to His perfect will. We ask God to guide the hands of those caring for him and to surround him with His presence.
We also lift up the silent needs of your family that remain unspoken. We take comfort that our Father knows what we need before we ask and that even when we do not have words, the Spirit intercedes for us. As Scripture says, In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don't know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can't be uttered, Romans 8:26. We ask the Lord to meet each hidden need, whether it be for health, provision, reconciliation, or spiritual encouragement, and to pour out His peace upon your household.
We encourage you to continue to cast every care upon Him, for He cares deeply for you and your family. Remember the promise, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:6-7, and casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you, 1 Peter 5:7.
We pray together, Heavenly Father, thank You for Your mercy and Your steadfast love. We ask for traveling mercies for our dear one as they go to and from the hospital, keep them safe from all danger and bring them home in peace. Lay Your healing hand upon their son and comfort him in his time of need, and let Your will be done in his body and spirit. We lift up every silent need in this family, You know each one by name, and we ask You to provide, to heal, to restore and to draw each heart closer to You. Grant this family Your peace that passes understanding and let them feel Your nearness in every moment. We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus, Amen.
