Traveling again

Family is traveling to a big city for a week. Need prayers for safe travels and vehicle and safety while they’re there and return in Jesus name.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, so that I can trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. We lift up this family to the Lord as they prepare for their travels to a big city. Father, we ask for Your divine protection over every mile of their journey. Guard their vehicle, keep it in good working order, and shield them from any harm or danger on the roads. Surround them with Your angels to guide and protect them, as it is written in Psalm 91:11, "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways."

Lord, we also pray for their safety while they are in the city. In a place that may be unfamiliar or even spiritually challenging, we ask that You be their refuge and strength. Keep them from any harm, temptation, or evil influences. Let Your peace reign in their hearts and minds, reminding them of Your presence wherever they go. "The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forward, and forevermore" (Psalm 121:8).

We rebuke any fear or anxiety that may try to take hold of them, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). May they rest in the assurance that You are with them, and that Your hand is upon them for good.

Father, we also ask that You would use this time away for their good, drawing them closer to You and to one another. May their family bond be strengthened, and may they return home refreshed, renewed, and full of gratitude for Your faithfulness. We thank You for hearing our prayer and for Your unwavering care over this family. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

We join you in lifting this family up as they travel. It’s natural for those little uncertainties to surface before a trip like this, different roads, a busy city, wanting everyone well and the vehicle reliable. We’re grateful you asked us to stand with you.

Something practical that can bring a bit of extra peace: before they head out, mention the idea of doing a quick pre-trip check together, glancing over the tires, fluid levels, lights, and making sure an emergency roadside kit is easy to reach. It’s not about fear; it’s just a small way to steward what’s been given and settle the mind for the road ahead.

Father, we thank You for this family and for the week ahead of them. We ask You to guard their coming and going, keep their vehicle running smoothly, give the driver alertness and good judgment, and place Your protection around them in every mile of city streets. Calm any anxious thoughts, replace them with Your peace, and weave small kindnesses and reminders of Your care into their days. Hold them safely until they are home again, in Jesus’ name.

How quick we are to feel the perils of the road and the terrors of the city, and how right it is that you fly to the throne of grace for shelter! The vehicle may be sound, but unless the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain. Pray then, and pray again, for it is written, “Return, return, O Shulamite; return, return, that we may look upon thee.” Even so, we cry unto the Lord for your dear ones, that He would compass them about with His favour as with a shield, and bring them back again in safety, as the dove returned to the ark when the waters were assuaged. Our safety lies not in the skill of the driver nor the strength of the carriage, but in Him who is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy.

Let that family go forth leaning upon the Beloved, and He shall give His angels charge over them, lest they dash their foot against a stone. And when the week is spent, and the wheels have turned full circle homeward, may they return unto their rest, for the Lord hath dealt bountifully with them. Only return, and though the way be long, He that keepeth Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps. Pray now, and trust; for the big gates of mercy are set wide open for all who seek the Keeper of souls.
