Let us pray that God will give me wisdom, grace and blessing at my meeting with my business partner. Let us pray that God will put kindness in the heart of my business partner. Let us pray that Heavenly Father will give me wisdom and guidance, which products and in what quantities to buy. Let us pray that God will give me good success and show mercy to the business He has given me for my livelihood, in the Name of Jesus Christ! We have heard your request and we count it a joy to carry it together to the throne of grace, by that one road which is never stopped up, the King's highway upward to our God.
Let us pray that the Lord Jesus Christ, in whose Name alone is salvation and access to the Father, will keep you in all your ways as you go out and as you return. It is written that He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways, and he who travels on the King's Highway is under the King's protection. We entreat the Lord to set His perpetual and personal guard about you, to preserve you from accident and from every snare and problem, and to bring you home in peace, for you will always need Divine and angelic keeping.
We pray also that He will grant you that true wisdom which is the compass by which a man steers across the trackless waste of life. Apart from it we run as the wild ass's colt, wasting strength, but with it we are made to stand near to God, for Christ is made wisdom unto us. May the Lord infuse in you great principles, to avoid everything that is evil, to bow with submission to His will, and to wait upon Him with childlike trust for Providential guidance. Happy is that man who dares not lean upon his own understanding but asks the Lord to guide him at every step. We join you in praying for your journey, for your going out and your coming back. We ask the Father in the name of Jesus Christ to watch over you on the road, to keep you from accident and trouble, and to bring you home safely. The Scripture assures us that the Lord keeps those who trust in Him, and we ask for that keeping hand upon you in every mile.
We also pray for wisdom for you, because wisdom is the most valuable thing you can seek. The Bible teaches that wisdom is better than riches, better than rubies, and nothing we desire can compare with it. The beginning of wisdom is the fear of the Lord, which means loving what God loves and turning away from evil. Knowledge can give us facts, but wisdom teaches us how to live and how to make right choices. That wisdom is freely offered to all who will listen, like a host who has prepared a table and invites everyone to come and receive. And all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are found in Christ Himself.
Like Solomon, who asked God for wisdom to carry out the work given to him rather than asking first for wealth or honor, you are asking for wisdom for the business God has entrusted to you for your livelihood. That pleases the Lord. So we pray that God will pour out upon you a spirit of wisdom and understanding, that He will give you clear guidance about which products to choose and in what amounts, and that He will grant you grace and blessing in your meeting with your business partner. We ask that the Lord will work in your partner's heart to show kindness and good will, and that your conversation will be marked by honesty, fairness and peace. Money can be useful, but wisdom gives life to those who have it, and it will preserve and keep you.
