Beloved of All
We have received your request and we join with you in prayer in the name of Jesus Christ.
We pray that the Lord will watch over you on your way out and on your way back and keep you from accident and trouble. We ask that He will guard your going and your coming and bring you home safely, for He is the One who keeps His people and does not slumber.
We also pray for the business the Lord has entrusted to you for your livelihood. We ask that He will show you mercy and give you success as you walk in His will and seek to do what is pleasing to Him. The Scriptures teach that the fear of the Lord is the starting point of wisdom, and that wisdom is more valuable than riches or rubies. Knowledge can give facts, but wisdom gives life and teaches how to use what we know. In Christ are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge, and He invites all who will listen to come and receive from Him.
Like Solomon, who asked God for wisdom to carry out the work set before him rather than asking for wealth or honor, and whom God was pleased to answer, we pray that you will seek wisdom first. We ask that God will pour out on you a spirit of wisdom and understanding, that you will walk with prudence and sound judgment, and that you will make decisions about what to buy and how much to buy with clear guidance from Him.
We pray that God will give you grace and favor in your meeting and that He will work in the heart of your business partner to show kindness and good will toward you. We pray that your dealings together will be honest and upright, because the Lord delights in honest scales and fair dealings and He honors those who act with integrity. True wisdom from above is pure and leads to peace and a clean life, not to envy or strife. It is very different from the wisdom of this world, which comes to nothing and cannot lead us to God. We ask that the wisdom God gives you will be shown in humility and in a life that reflects Him, for honor follows humility and wisdom dwells with the lowly.
May the Lord grant you wisdom, grace and blessing in this journey, keep you in His care, and enable you to do all that He desires for you. We commit your travel, your meeting, and your work into His hands and trust Him to lead you. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray, amen.
