We hear your cry and we are standing with you in prayer, asking God to bring His power and kindness into every part of this struggle where you feel trapped by this HIV type disease and the damage in your leg. We understand how heavy it feels when it seems like everything is closing in on you, and we want you to know that God sees you, He cares for you, and He is able to deliver and to heal.

The Word reminds us who God is toward those who suffer. Psalm 103:2-3 says Praise Yahweh, my soul, and do not forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. Jeremiah 30:17 says But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. Psalm 34:18 says Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. And Isaiah 41:10 says Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. We cling to these promises with you, believing that God is both willing and able to bring healing to your body and freedom where you feel trapped.

We notice you spoke of God's kindness, and we rejoice that you recognize His kindness, for His kindness leads us to hope. We want to gently share with you that we come to the Father only through Jesus Christ. There is no other way to approach God or to be saved except through Him. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Romans 10:9 says that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. If you have not yet put your trust fully in Jesus as Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so today, to call upon His name, confess your need for Him, and receive His forgiveness and new life. It is in His name that we have confidence to pray and to ask for your problem to be solved according to His perfect will.

We pray together now for you. Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ we lift up our dear one to You. You see the affliction in the body, this HIV type disease and the damage in the leg, and You see the feeling of being trapped on every side. Lord, we ask for Your mercy and Your healing power to rest upon this body. Touch the immune system, touch the leg, restore what has been damaged, and let Your healing flow. We ask for wisdom for doctors and for effective care, and we pray that You would guide every treatment. We rebuke the spirit of fear and oppression that makes this dear one feel trapped, and we ask You to break every chain and to bring freedom, peace, and hope. Let Your kindness be clearly felt today, let Your presence bring comfort and strength, and let Your will be done in solving this problem for Your glory. We ask that You draw this heart closer to Jesus, to know Him as Savior and Healer, and to find rest in His love. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, amen.

We encourage you to continue to seek medical care faithfully while trusting the Lord as your ultimate healer, to stay in His Word daily, and to keep bringing every worry to Him in prayer. You say you are good, and we thank God for the goodness He has placed in you, and we pray He will sustain that goodness and strengthen you day by day. We are praying powerfully with you that God will make a way where there seems to be no way and that His kindness will be evident in your deliverance and healing.

Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. Your cry in this sore affliction has been heard, and we carry your burden to the throne of grace where tender mercy reigns. You speak of being trapped, of a grievous disease like HIV and damage to the leg, and of feeling hemmed in on every side while you desire the kindness of God to rest upon you. The Lord sees you even as the Angel of the Lord saw Hagar by the well in the desert, alone and fleeing, and He puts to you the same home questions, where have you come from and where will you go, for His mercy overtakes the wanderer in the wilderness.

Know this, that all the loving kindness of God is marvelous, and the least mercy from Him is a miracle. Yet there is a false hope in mercy which says, I am good, and therefore God must deliver me, and there is a true hope which confesses, I have sinned and perverted that which was right and it profited me not, and looks alone to mercy through Jesus Christ. Salvation is through Him alone, and apart from His blood there is no peace. Sin is a deeper sickness than any disease of the body, a sickness of the soul which, if left unhealed, brings a man down to the pit. But blessed be His name, there is deliverance from soul sickness even for those who seem to be going down into the pit, for God has provided a ransom in His dear Son.

Take your bodily affliction also in the light of Scripture, the Lord has chastened me sorely but He has not given me over to death. The rod in the Father's hand is not to kill but to cure, and His mercy endures forever. He has delivered us from the power of darkness and translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son, and that deliverance from the power of sin is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin. What you need, and what we plead for on your behalf, is that God who has gone before you with mercy in the past will go before you still, and will not withhold in its season what is truly needed.

We pray now with you, and we ask you to pray with us. O Lord God of tender mercy, show Your marvelous loving kindness. Look upon this afflicted one, trapped and pained in body, and say as in Job, Deliver him from going down to the pit, for Thou hast found a ransom. Forgive sin through the blood of Christ, heal the soul first, and then according to Thy perfect will touch the body and restore the leg. Give repentance where it is needed, faith where there is fear, and contrition that looks wholly to Christ. Let Thy everlasting kindness be felt, for Thou hast said, In a little wrath I hid My face from thee for a moment, but with everlasting kindness will I have mercy on thee, saith the Lord thy Redeemer. Grant that whether Thou art pleased to raise up or to chasten further, this life may yet say, I shall not die but live and declare the works of the Lord, and that all trapping powers of darkness may be broken by Him who alone can save. Amen.
