Your cry for help has been heard and I have brought it before the Lord with care. You speak of being trapped by a disease you fear may be like HIV and by damage to your leg, and you ask where you can find medicine. I understand how heavy this burden must feel, and I want to answer you both with prayer and with honest counsel.

God cares for both soul and body, and He teaches us to provide for the body in a right way, for health and not for excess. As Scripture says to care for bodily infirmities for the sake of health, so seeking a physician and proper medicine is good and wise. The Lord often brings healing through the skill of doctors and through the medicines He has allowed us to discover. I am not a medical doctor and I cannot prescribe or send medicine directly, but I urge you strongly to go as soon as you can to a clinic, hospital, or trusted doctor to be examined. If you are worried about HIV, ask for testing and counseling so you can know the truth of your condition and receive proper guidance. For your leg, let a doctor see the injury so the right treatment can be given. Do not delay out of fear. To seek help is not a lack of faith, but a faithful use of the provision God has given.

I also hear you say that you are good, that your brother is brilliant and rich, and that you have good sleep. Give thanks for sleep, for it is a gift from God that restores the body. Do not measure your worth against your brother's riches or brilliance. Riches do not make one healthy before God, and poverty does not make one forgotten by Him. Life is not a plaything, and our present sufferings are not to be taken lightly, for they remind us to order our ways with seriousness and to seek the Lord while there is time. Just as physicians apply medicine again and again until health returns, so God patiently works on our hearts through His Word, through repentance and prayer, to heal us within. The greatest medicine for the soul is to turn to Jesus Christ, for salvation is through Him alone, and in Him we find forgiveness and hope that remains even when the body is weak.

I am praying for you now. May the Lord have mercy on you and grant you wisdom to seek proper medical care quickly, may He guide the hands of those who examine and treat you, may He ease your pain and fear, and may He grant you peace in your heart and continued rest at night. May He also draw you closer to Himself, so that you trust not in your own goodness but in the grace of Christ, who alone saves, and may He help you walk in health of body and soul for His glory.

If you can, please let someone near you know about your need, a pastor, family member, or trusted friend, so they can help you get to medical care and support you in prayer. You are not forgotten. Continue to seek the Lord and to seek help for your body, and may God grant you healing according to His good will.

Your request has been heard and I am praying for you as you face this illness that sounds like HIV and the damage to your leg and the need for medicine. God sees your struggle and He cares about your body and your spirit and your daily needs like rest at night.

Scripture shows us that God reveals Himself according to our need. When we come to Him for healing He reveals Himself as the Lord our Healer. Whatever need we bring in prayer is what He desires to be for us. He does not only give healing, He Himself is the Healer.

One of the beautiful promises about Jesus is given by the prophet Malachi, that the Sun of Righteousness shall arise with healing in His wings. The picture is like the sunrise, the breaking of a new day after a long night. That promise is fulfilled in Jesus Christ. In Him a new day dawns and healing and hope come with Him. The New Testament shows this fulfilled when Jesus went through the cities of Galilee preaching and teaching and healing the sick. When the crowds pressed upon Him, many came not only to hear His word but to receive help for their bodies. It is written that when the sun was setting, all who had any sick with various diseases brought them to Him, and He laid His hands on every one of them and healed them. The power of the Spirit was upon Him to do this.

I encourage you to seek Jesus Himself, not only relief for the body. Many people in those days wanted healing but were not interested in committing their lives to the Lord. True wholeness comes when we come to the Healer first, trusting Him for forgiveness and new life through faith in Jesus Christ alone, and then trusting Him with our physical needs. To seek only a cure without seeking Christ can leave the heart still empty.

I also encourage you to seek proper medical care as God often provides healing through doctors and medicine. Please go to a qualified clinic or hospital and let a doctor examine your leg and test for this illness so you can receive the right treatment. If your brother is able to help, it is right to humbly ask for his help and counsel, and also to ask others you trust to help you find care. Continue to pray for wisdom to find the medicine you need and for God to provide the way.

I am praying for you now that the Lord our Healer will be near to you, that He will bring comfort to your body, strength for your leg, help in finding true and safe medicine, and peaceful sleep each night. May you know His presence as the One who brings a new day with healing, and may you put your full trust in Jesus for both your present needs and your eternal life.

We have been lifting you up these past few days and bringing your specific needs before the Lord. We have prayed for your healing from the HIV type disease and the leg damage that has you feeling trapped, and for the Lord to provide the medicine you need and to guide you to the right treatment. We have also prayed for your rest, that God would grant you good sleep and peaceful nights as you mentioned, and we remember before God your brother and his life as well.

We continue to ask our Heavenly Father to touch your body with His healing hand, for He is the Lord who heals us according to Exodus 15:26 and He promises to restore health and heal wounds as in Jeremiah 30:17. We pray that He will make a way for you to receive the medicine and care you need and that He will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory as in Philippians 4:19. We also pray that He will grant you sleep in peace as in Psalm 4:8 and Psalm 127:2.
