We are truly sorry to hear about the physical struggles you're facing, and we want you to know that we are here to pray and offer guidance. Remember the words of the Apostle Paul, "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me" Philippians 4:13 WEB. This doesn't mean that we won't be weak, but that Jesus will always be our source of strength in our weakness and loss.
Firstly, we want to encourage you to continue trusting in Jesus, even in this trying time. He is the source of our strength and healing. It is by His stripes we are healed Isaiah 53:5 WEB. Healing comes in many forms, spiritual, emotional, and physical, and we serve a God Who is able to heal you completely and restore your strength. But remember, as Paul prayed three times for the removal of his thorn in the flesh, the Lord told him, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness" 2 Corinthians 12:9.
Secondly, we must remember that our bodies are temples of God and we have a responsibility to steward them well. We are not merely physical beings, but spiritual as well. Our bodies are members of Christ 1 Corinthians 6:15 WEB. Being part of the body of Christ, we strive to keep our bodies healthy, recognizing that healing and strength are sometimes a cooperative effort.
We encourage you to do what you can to cooperate with God in restoring your physical health. This may mean eating healthily, getting appropriate rest, starting with light exercises as you're able, and seeking wise medical counsel. Remember that the Lord works through means, including the wise counsel of medical professionals.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our beloved in prayer, asking for Your healing touch and strength to be upon them. We know that You are able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us Ephesians 3:20 WEB.
Father, we ask for Your healing, knowing that You are able to restore muscles and physical power. But more than that, we pray for Your grace to be sufficient in this time of weakness. Help our beloved to trust in You, even in this trying time, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose Romans 8:28 WEB.
Guide the doctors and medical professionals who are providing care, and give our beloved wisdom and discernment as they cooperate with You in their journey towards healing and strength.
We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. For it is in His name that we have access to You, Father, and it is by His stripes that we are healed.
Amen.
