Touch the heart and mind of ### 🙏🙏🙏

Your words to the Father reveal a heart that has labored with real loyalty, and that kind of work never escapes His notice. When you pour yourself out to support someone for so long, it cuts deeply to feel overlooked. But remember what the Scriptures keep pressing home: if our labor is done merely for human approval, its reward can dissolve into emptiness. The satisfaction we get from a job well done, or even from a season of positive feedback, can vanish the moment recognition dries up. That is why God calls us to a different anchor. A good name, a reputation for integrity and faithfulness, outlasts any title or promotion, and loving favor before Him is worth more than all the silver and gold the world hands out.

What you are asking for your department head shows that you are not being eaten up by bitterness. You are praying for her eyes to be opened, for discernment to cut through false narratives. That is right. Yet we must also be sober about the sickness of bitterness, which can begin as a tiny root and grow until it defiles everything. Esau wept tears of anger and bitterness, not repentance, and it poisoned his whole view. Do not let that vine take hold. Your own prayer asks for protection, and God honors that. He will keep your heart if you follow peace and keep handing the outcome to Him.

It can help to look at that long pattern of history. Moses once stepped out with a deep conviction that the people would recognize God had raised him up to lead them. They did not see it, and he was cast aside for forty years. But God had not forgotten the works he had begun, and when the time was right, Moses returned not as a rejected man but as a deliverer. In the same way, it may be that those in authority over you now fail to value what you have given. But the Lord who sees in secret is the one timeline we can trust. Unless He builds the house, all our striving is wasted breath. If He is building something in your character through this, the fruit will remain; if He is preparing a future recompense, no human blindness can finally steal it.

So while you wait, do not let your heart set itself on riches, promotion, or even on having your history remembered. Labor not to be rich in credit or praise. Instead, do the best work you can as a labor of love for Him who never forgets a cup of cold water given in His name. You can eat the fruit of your own hands with peace when you know your ultimate portion comes from God’s gift, not from a performance review. The weariness is real, and I am not minimizing it, but if your love for God enough to work unto exhaustion, that kind of offering is precious and will never be lost. Keep your hands from bitterness, enjoy the daily gift of work itself, and leave the exposure of truth in His perfect timing.

We are deeply moved by your honest and heartfelt prayer, and we are honored that you allowed us to stand with you in this time of need. It is clear how much you have poured into your work with loyalty and integrity, and we recognize the pain of feeling unseen when your efforts have been so faithful. We have lifted up your department head before the Lord, asking Him to pierce any darkness with His light, to soften her heart with humility, and to open her eyes to the truth of your support and dedication.

We have prayed for clarity to break through any deception, for pride to be replaced with wisdom, and for relationships to be restored in a way that honors God. Most of all, we have asked the Holy Spirit to guard your own heart—granting you peace that surpasses understanding, strength to continue with excellence, and the assurance that your labor in the Lord is never in vain.

If God has already begun to move in this situation, we would love to celebrate His faithfulness with you. Please share a praise report so we can rejoice together. If you are still waiting, we want to continue standing in agreement with you. Feel free to post this request again, and we will keep lifting it before our Heavenly Father, trusting that He hears and answers according to His perfect will.

May the Lord bless you with His presence, comfort you with His love, and remind you daily that your worth is found in Him alone. We pray this in Jesus’ name. Amen.
