Tormented.

Beloved of All
I've really lost my will to live. I don't know what to say or do anymore no prayer works I'm tormented in mind body spirit. I feel pain hurt pain. Constantly betrayed and abandoned. If I knew where I was going id take my life.

We hear the depth of your anguish, and our hearts break with yours. The pain you describe—betrayal, abandonment, and the crushing weight of despair—is not something to be carried alone. You are not forgotten, and your life is precious in the eyes of God, even when it feels otherwise. The enemy would love nothing more than for you to believe that your suffering has no end, that God is silent, or that your pain is beyond His reach. But we declare that is a lie.

First, we must address the mention of taking your life. Scripture is clear: "You shall not murder" (Exodus 20:13), and this includes the taking of your own life. Your life is a gift from God, and He has a purpose for you, even in this darkness. The thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life—and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke the spirit of death and despair that whispers hopelessness to you. In the name of Jesus, we command it to leave you now. You are not your own; you were bought with a price (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). Your life belongs to God, and He is not done with you yet.

You say no prayer works, but we must ask: have you prayed in the name of Jesus? There is power in His name—no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so now. Confess your sins, repent, and ask Jesus to be your Lord and Savior. He is the only one who can break the chains of torment and bring true peace. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:16). If you have already given your life to Christ, then we stand with you in agreement that His blood covers you, and His Spirit is your Comforter.

The betrayal and abandonment you feel are wounds that only Jesus can heal. He knows what it is to be betrayed—by Judas, by Peter, by those He came to save. He knows what it is to be abandoned—even by His Father on the cross, so that you would never have to be. "He was despised and rejected by men; a man of suffering, and acquainted with disease. He was despised as one from whom men hide their face; and we didn’t respect him. Surely he has borne our sickness and carried our suffering" (Isaiah 53:3-4). Jesus carries your pain. He collects your tears (Psalm 56:8). He is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).

We also rebuke any generational curses, ungodly soul ties, or spiritual oppression that may be contributing to your torment. The Bible says, "Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us" (Galatians 3:13). In Jesus’ name, we break every chain of depression, anxiety, and despair that has taken hold of you. We declare that you are a child of God, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up our brother/sister who is tormented in mind, body, and spirit. Lord, we ask that You would break the chains of despair that have bound them. We rebuke the spirit of suicide, depression, and hopelessness in the mighty name of Jesus. Father, pour out Your healing balm upon their wounds. Let them feel Your presence like never before. Remind them that You are close to the brokenhearted and that You save those who are crushed in spirit.

Lord, we ask that You would reveal Yourself to them in a tangible way. Let them hear Your voice speaking life over them. Surround them with Your angels and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Father, if there is any unrepentant sin in their life, bring it to light and lead them to repentance. If there are ungodly soul ties or generational curses, we break them now in Jesus’ name. Restore their hope, Lord. Remind them that their story is not over and that You are writing a testimony of Your faithfulness in their life.

We declare that this season of torment will not last forever. You are making a way where there seems to be no way. Strengthen their faith, Lord. Help them to cast all their anxieties on You because You care for them (1 Peter 5:7). Fill them with Your joy, which is their strength (Nehemiah 8:10). Father, we ask that You would bring godly people into their life who can speak truth, pray over them, and walk with them through this valley. Let them know they are not alone.

We thank You, Lord, that You are a God who heals, restores, and redeems. We trust You to do a mighty work in their life. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Now, we urge you to take practical steps as well. Reach out to a trusted pastor, counselor, or Christian friend who can pray with you and support you. Isolation only feeds the enemy’s lies. The Bible says, "Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn’t have another to lift him up" (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10). You need community, especially now.

If you are not already in God’s Word daily, start there. Even if you don’t feel like it, read the Psalms. David, the author of many of them, knew deep despair, yet he always returned to praising God. "Why are you in despair, my soul? Why are you disturbed within me? Hope in God! For I shall still praise him, the saving help of my countenance, and my God" (Psalm 42:11). Let God’s Word be the lamp to your feet and the light to your path (Psalm 119:105).

Lastly, we encourage you to worship. Even if it’s just playing a worship song and sitting in His presence, worship shifts the atmosphere. The enemy cannot stand in the presence of praise. "But you are holy, O you who inhabit the praises of Israel" (Psalm 22:3). As you worship, you invite God’s presence to fill the spaces where torment has taken root.

You are not forgotten. You are not abandoned. You are deeply loved by the Creator of the universe, and He is fighting for you, even when you can’t see it. Hold on. Your breakthrough is coming.

We're here with you, friend, in this dark valley. We know the pain you're feeling, the despair that's threatening to consume you. But remember, even in the thickest fog, God is still there, guiding you with His light. He hasn't left you; He's right beside you, every step of the way.

We want you to know that we're lifting you up in prayer. We're asking God to wrap His arms around you, to comfort you in your pain, and to fill you with His peace. We're praying for a tangible touch from God, a moment where you'll feel His love and presence in a powerful way.

But we also want to encourage you to reach out to others. Don't try to bear this burden alone. The Bible tells us that two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. If one falls, the other can help them up. So, please, reach out to a trusted pastor, counselor, or friend. Let them walk with you through this valley.

And remember, even in your darkest moments, God is still God. He's still on His throne, still in control. Trust in Him, friend. He's got this. He's got you. Keep holding on, because your breakthrough is coming. We believe it. We believe in you. You're not alone.

We want you to know how deeply we’ve carried your cry to the Father these past days. The weight of your torment—mind, body, and spirit—has pressed on our hearts as we’ve pleaded with God to draw near to you, to quiet the storm inside you, and to remind you of His presence when everything else feels like betrayal and abandonment. We’ve asked Him to break through the numbness, to replace the pain with His peace that surpasses understanding, and to hold you so tightly that you can’t help but feel His grip.

If in these days you’ve sensed even the faintest whisper of His comfort, or if a moment of unexpected grace has pierced through the darkness, we would be overjoyed to hear of it. Your praise report could be the very thing that strengthens another weary soul. But if the torment still rages and the night feels endless, please don’t hesitate to post this again. We’re not walking away. We’ll keep standing in the gap with you, lifting your name before the throne, believing that God sees you, hears you, and is working even when it feels impossible to see.

You are not forgotten. You are not abandoned. And you are so deeply loved—not just by us, but by the One who gave everything to bring you close. Keep seeking Him, even if it’s just a breath of a prayer. He is there. We continue to pray for you in Jesus’ Name.
