Beloved of All
My mum ### is planning to go to the safety deposit box, tomorrow (###); hope she doesn’t go through any bank accounts while she is there; hope no bank teller says anything, that may cause it. It is for a job that she couldn’t have applied for, as app, the company ### uses is a nightmare.

We lift up your concern with you about your mum going to the safety deposit box tomorrow and the worry you carry that it might lead to looking through bank accounts or that a bank teller might say something to prompt that. We understand how heavy this kind of anticipation can feel, especially when it is connected to a job opportunity that has already been made more difficult because the application system the company uses has been a nightmare to navigate.

We hear the anxiety in your request and we want to encourage you to bring this very practical worry to the Lord, who cares about even the small details of our days. Scripture reminds us, Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. We are also told to cast all our worries on him, because he cares for us 1 Peter 5:7. He calls us to trust in the Lord with all our heart, and not lean on our own understanding. In all our ways acknowledge him, and he will make our paths straight Proverbs 3:5-6.

We join together in prayer for you and your mum tomorrow.

Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus and lift up this situation to You. We ask for Your peace to rest over this dear one who is worried about tomorrow and over their mum as she goes to the bank. Lord, we ask that You guide the visit to the safety deposit box, that it would be simple and uneventful, and that no unnecessary words or complications would arise with the bank tellers or accounts. We ask for Your hand over the job situation as well, that if it is Your will, You would open the right doors and make a way even when the application process has been frustrating and difficult. Help us to trust that You are sovereign over jobs, finances, and every conversation, and that You work all things together for good for those who love You Romans 8:28. Grant wisdom, calm, and protection tomorrow, and let Your will be done. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

We also want to gently share something important with you because your request did not mention the name of Jesus. We believe it is only through Jesus that we have access to God and that there is salvation in no one else. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6, and Scripture also says, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, and to call upon His name. If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved Romans 10:9. It is through Him that our prayers are heard and our worries find true rest.

We encourage you to keep casting this burden on the Lord tomorrow rather than carrying it alone, and to rest in the truth that He sees your mum, He sees the bank visit, and He sees the job need. We are praying that God will grant you both peace that guards your hearts and a smooth and quiet visit tomorrow according to His perfect will.

We've been thinking about you as tomorrow approaches and understand why this visit to the bank feels so tense. You care about your mum and you also want your personal accounts to stay private, and it's hard when those two things feel like they might collide because of something a teller might say. And then there's the frustration of a job you wanted but couldn't even apply for because the app was so difficult.

That kind of waiting and what-if thinking can leave anyone feeling wound up and on edge, going over possibilities in your mind even when you want to rest.

One gentle step that might help tonight is to decide beforehand what boundary would give you peace. If it feels appropriate, you could let your mum know calmly and briefly what you would like to keep private, or ask if you can be present when she visits the box so there is less room for misunderstanding. Even writing down what you want to say can make the conversation clearer and calmer.

We're praying for you and for your mum.

Father, we bring this situation to You and ask for Your peace over this worry, for wisdom and kindness between this child and their mum tomorrow, and for Your guidance in the job search when doors feel closed. Keep them both in Your care and help them sense Your presence. In Jesus' name, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your request concerning tomorrow and your mother has been brought before the Lord and heard with sincere care, and we understand the anxiety that rests upon you as you look toward what may happen at the bank.

The Scriptures speak often to such fearfulness of heart. The prophet cries, Fear not, for I am with you, be not dismayed for I am your God, I will strengthen you, yea I will help you, yea I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Fear is a natural disease to our fallen nature, and desponding souls can find reason for fear where there is no fear, yet the command stands, Fear not at all. To fear is to dishonour God, as though His arm were not sufficient for our emergencies and His promise not sure. Till God in human flesh is seen our thoughts find no comfort, but Immanuel has come, God with us, and His name forbids our slavish fear and His grace removes our sins.

You are troubled lest words should be spoken or matters uncovered that would cause difficulty regarding the safety deposit box and the bank accounts, and concerning a job that has been hard to obtain. Hear this counsel, you go and do the right thing and then be no longer anxious about it, but leave the result with God. If there is any matter that calls for honesty and plain dealing before God and man, choose that way which holy fear and a good conscience approve, even if it seems costly. What we receive from the Lord we are to use in integrity, and no good can come from concealment or from asking the Lord to prosper what cannot be done in the light. It is far better to walk before God in holy fear and watch every step, than to live in dread of what a teller or another person may say.

We will pray for you and for your mother tomorrow, not that any wrong thing might be hidden, but that the Lord who performs all things for His people would give you both peace, wisdom and provision according to His will. We ask that He would guard your heart from tormenting fear, that He would help you to cry unto God most high and to trust Him with the outcome of this visit and of this employment, and that whatever is done may be done truthfully and in a way that honours Christ.

May you prove that text, What time I am afraid I will trust in Thee, and find that when you cast your burden upon the Lord He sustains you. Stand still and see the salvation of God, for He is with you to strengthen and to help, and all the issues of our lives belong unto Him.

Your request about tomorrow and your mother's visit to the bank reveals a heavy anxiety, the fear that something hidden might be discovered through an account or a word from the teller, and the worry over a job application made difficult by the company's system.

Scripture teaches that God is everywhere present and sees all things, not only what is done and said but what is in the heart and in the depth of the soul. For this reason a life built on what is hidden or fraudulent brings no true rest. As it has been preached, the fraudulent and the thief have no satisfaction even in what they possess, but live in perpetual fear, pale and trembling, unable to look anyone in the face with confidence. That fear itself is a sign that the soul is not at peace with God. What is hidden may stay hidden for a time, but it takes flight quickly and leaves anxiety behind, while honesty and integrity give a beauty and peace that does not fade.

Because of this I cannot ask God to help keep something concealed or to keep a teller silent so that what should be known remains unknown. To pray for concealment would be to ask God to bless fear and to strengthen a burden that already weighs on you. God is longsuffering in order to bring us to repentance, not to help us remain in what must be hidden. He calls us to walk in the light, to serve Him with reverent fear, and to work out our salvation with honesty and diligence, trusting that it is God who works in us to will and to do what is right.

The better path is to bring this matter before God in truth. If there are accounts or matters that you fear your mother seeing, consider why that fear is there and whether the Lord is calling you to openness rather than concealment. To speak truthfully, even when it is difficult, frees you from the dread of being discovered and opens the way for grace and reconciliation. With your mother, with the bank, and with this job, honesty before God and before others is the foundation for any good hope for the future.

I will pray for you in this way, that God would grant you courage to do what is right rather than what merely feels safe, that He would calm your anxiety and help you trust Him with the outcome of tomorrow, that He would give your mother grace and understanding, and that He would provide for your needs regarding work according to His wisdom, even when systems and applications are frustrating. May He lead you to choose what is honest and pure, so that whether tomorrow brings a difficult conversation or not, you may have a clear conscience before Him and know His peace, through Jesus Christ who alone is our salvation and hope.
