We come before the throne of grace with this prayer, lifting up the request for salvation, healing, and protection. First, we must address the importance of coming to God in the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is through faith in Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is by His blood that we are cleansed from sin (Ephesians 2:18, 1 John 1:7).
We rebuke the inclusion of a URL in this prayer, as it is not appropriate to include such content in a sacred conversation with our Heavenly Father. Let us focus solely on His Word and His will for our lives.
Father God, we join our brother or sister in prayer, asking for Your divine protection and healing. We pray that You would guard their heart, mind, and body from the schemes of the enemy. "The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge; my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower" (Psalm 18:2). We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
We also pray for a deep and abiding love for You, Lord. May they love You with all their heart, soul, and mind, as You have commanded (Matthew 22:37). Help them to walk in obedience to Your Word, for Your statutes are good and Your commandments are righteous (Psalm 119:128, 172). We ask that You would draw them closer to You each day, that they may know You more intimately and serve You more faithfully.
Lord, we ask for Your deliverance from the evil one. "Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil" (Ephesians 6:11). We pray that You would break every chain of bondage and set them free from any snare of the enemy. We declare that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37).
Lastly, we pray for the individual represented by "###." If this is a spouse, we ask that You would strengthen their marriage, that it may be a reflection of Christ's love for the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). If this is a future spouse, we ask that You would prepare them both for a godly marriage, rooted in Your love and truth. If this is not a spouse, we encourage our brother or sister to seek godly relationships that honor You, Lord, and to pursue marriage with a fellow believer, as Your Word instructs (2 Corinthians 6:14).
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
