We come before the throne of grace with your request, lifting you and your family up in prayer. First, we want to affirm that we are praying in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). It is only through Him that we have access to the Father, and it is by His blood that we are reconciled to God (Ephesians 2:13, 18).
Father God, we thank You for this dear one who has come to You in faith, believing in Your power to restore, heal, and provide. We pray for the deepening of the bond between them and their loved one, that no scheme of the enemy or influence of the world would ever drive a wedge between them. Your Word declares that what You have joined together, let no man separate (Matthew 19:6). We stand on this truth, Lord, and ask that You would knit their hearts together in love, unity, and mutual respect, all for Your glory.
We rebuke any spirit of confusion, division, or negativity that may seek to disrupt their peace or their family. The enemy comes only to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that unwanted influences, whether people, circumstances, or spiritual attacks, will have no place in their lives. Instead, we pray for Your hedge of protection around them, that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
Lord, we ask that You would go before them today, removing any obstacles or delays that could hinder their progress. Grant them wisdom, strength, and favor as they tackle their tasks, that they may accomplish much for Your kingdom and their good. May their work be fruitful, their steps ordered by You, and their hearts filled with peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.
We also lift up the request for healing and long life for their loved one. You are the God who heals us (Exodus 15:26), and we trust in Your power to restore health and vitality. We pray that You would extend their days together, that they may enjoy the fullness of life You intend for them, walking in Your purposes until the day they are called home to be with You.
Father, we know that You are a God who meets our needs according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). We ask that You would move mightily on their behalf today, providing for the specific need they have laid before You. Give them faith to trust in Your timing and Your ways, knowing that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28).
We also want to gently encourage this dear one to examine the nature of their relationship in light of Your Word. If this connection is one that You have ordained, we pray that it would be built on the foundation of Christ, with both individuals seeking to honor You in all things. If this is a courtship leading toward marriage, we pray that it would be pursued with purity, patience, and a shared commitment to Your design for marriage, a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6). If there has been any sin, such as fornication or impurity, we encourage repentance and a turning away from anything that dishonors You. Your Word is clear: "Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body" (1 Corinthians 6:18). We pray for holiness and righteousness to be the hallmark of their relationship.
Above all, Lord, we pray that You would draw their hearts closer to You. May they seek You first in all things, knowing that when they do, all these other things will be added unto them (Matthew 6:33). Strengthen their faith, deepen their love for You, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
