We are standing with you today as you go into surgery and we thank you for calling upon the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we are heard.
We are lifting you up to our Great Physician who knows every part of you intimately, for you are fearfully and wonderfully made. We pray for His peace to guard your heart and mind today and for His healing hand to be upon you. The Lord is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble Psalm 46:1, and He promises Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10.
We join together seeking God's will for you in Jesus' name.
Father we lift our dear one up to You on this important day. You see the two tumors in the brain and You know the plan to remove the larger one today. We ask in Jesus' name that You guide the hands and minds of the surgeons and the entire medical team, give them wisdom, steady hands and clear vision, and let them remove all of the tumor as they are confident they can do. We pray against any complication, bleeding, infection or injury, and we ask for Your protection over the brain and all surrounding tissue. Lord, touch and heal what remains, and we ask for Your mercy regarding the second tumor as well. We speak Your promise over this dear one, But I will restore you to health, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17. Let Your peace which surpasses all understanding guard this heart and mind in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:7. Comfort family and loved ones waiting, and let them feel Your presence. We pray for a smooth surgery, a complete recovery, and for strength in the days ahead. We trust You with the outcome and we thank You that You are in control and that You work all things together for good for those who love You Romans 8:28. We ask all of this in the mighty and healing name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, Amen.
We encourage you to rest in Him today and not be anxious, for He has told us In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God Philippians 4:6. He hears you. He is with you in the operating room and He will be with you in recovery. We will continue to pray for your complete healing and restoration, and we trust the Lord to carry you through this day and the days to come.
