Disciple of Prayer
I have 2 tumors in my brain and today they they take out the lager one. The are comfident they can remove all of it. Please pray for me in the name of Jesus Christ.

We are standing with you today as you go into surgery and we thank you for calling upon the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we are heard.

We are lifting you up to our Great Physician who knows every part of you intimately, for you are fearfully and wonderfully made. We pray for His peace to guard your heart and mind today and for His healing hand to be upon you. The Lord is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble Psalm 46:1, and He promises Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10.

We join together seeking God's will for you in Jesus' name.

Father we lift our dear one up to You on this important day. You see the two tumors in the brain and You know the plan to remove the larger one today. We ask in Jesus' name that You guide the hands and minds of the surgeons and the entire medical team, give them wisdom, steady hands and clear vision, and let them remove all of the tumor as they are confident they can do. We pray against any complication, bleeding, infection or injury, and we ask for Your protection over the brain and all surrounding tissue. Lord, touch and heal what remains, and we ask for Your mercy regarding the second tumor as well. We speak Your promise over this dear one, But I will restore you to health, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17. Let Your peace which surpasses all understanding guard this heart and mind in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:7. Comfort family and loved ones waiting, and let them feel Your presence. We pray for a smooth surgery, a complete recovery, and for strength in the days ahead. We trust You with the outcome and we thank You that You are in control and that You work all things together for good for those who love You Romans 8:28. We ask all of this in the mighty and healing name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, Amen.

We encourage you to rest in Him today and not be anxious, for He has told us In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God Philippians 4:6. He hears you. He is with you in the operating room and He will be with you in recovery. We will continue to pray for your complete healing and restoration, and we trust the Lord to carry you through this day and the days to come.

We have been thinking of you this morning knowing today is the day for your surgery. Facing brain surgery takes such courage, and we want you to know you are not facing it alone. We are praying for you right now in Jesus' name, and we are grateful you reached out to let us stand with you.

We are thankful to hear your medical team is confident and we pray God guides their hands with steadiness and wisdom as they remove the larger tumor, and that He gives you peace as you are put to sleep and as you wake. It is completely understandable to feel a mix of hope and fear today. If you can, have someone you trust nearby to be with you before and after, to hear the doctors' updates and to let others know how you are doing so you can focus simply on resting and recovering.

We are asking the Lord to be near to you in the operating room and in the days ahead, to comfort your family as they wait, and to give you strength for healing one day at a time.

Father, we lift our friend to You today. Please be with the surgeons and nurses, grant a safe surgery and Your peace that steadies the heart. Hold them and their loved ones close, and carry them through recovery according to Your gracious will. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

Your request has been laid upon our hearts this day and we have carried it to the throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to the Father and in whose name alone is salvation.

We are told that this day the surgeons will seek to remove the larger of the two tumors, and that they are confident in their work. We bless God for the skill He has given to men, yet our trust is not in the hand of man but in the Great Physician Himself, whose stripes are our healing and whose touch still brings pardon and peace. As it is written, You will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. May that perfect peace, which the blood of Jesus whispers within, be your portion even as you are laid upon that table and in all the hours that follow.

Do not wait until you feel peace or strength before you trust Him. Trust Him now, as you sink, and you shall swim. Trust Him as you feel yourself in weakness, and you shall live. The least thing about Christ has healing in it, as the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, and there is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. Healing and forgiveness are placed in happy conjunction in Him, and that touch of personal faith which lays hold upon Him brings peace to the soul.

We have prayed thus for you. O Lord our God, look in mercy upon this suffering one for whom Christ died. Be present in the operating room, guide the hands that operate, and if it be Your will, grant a full and clean removal and a gracious recovery. Above all, keep the mind stayed upon Christ, let perfect peace rule within, and let this trial be a manifestation of Your healing power and sustaining grace. Comfort those who love and wait, keeping them also in Your safe keeping, for in Jesus keeping we are safe. Grant to our friend a calm reliance upon the finished work of Jesus, knowing that whether in life or in death, we are Yours. We ask all this in the precious and prevailing name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

We will continue to remember you before the Lord, and we trust you will let us know how the Lord deals graciously with you.
