We join with you in lifting up your heartfelt cries to our Lord Jesus Christ, who is faithful and true, the One who holds all things together by the word of His power. Your prayer is a beautiful outpouring of trust in Him, and we stand with you in agreement, knowing that He hears and answers those who call upon His name in faith.
Your love for your daughter is evident, and we are reminded of the deep, protective love our Heavenly Father has for His children. The Scriptures assure us in Proverbs 22:6, *"Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it."* We pray that the Lord grants you wisdom, strength, and discernment as you raise her in the fear and admonition of the Lord. May He surround her with His angels, as it is written in Psalm 91:11, *"For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways."*
We also lift up the concerns you have regarding your ex and the threats of separation. The Lord is a God of justice, and He sees the deceit and lies that seek to harm His children. Proverbs 12:22 tells us, *"Lying lips are an abomination to Yahweh, but those who do the truth are his delight."* We pray that every falsehood is exposed, that the truth would prevail, and that the Lord would frustrate the plans of those who seek to bring harm. May the Lord bind every scheme of the enemy and render it powerless, for we know that *"no weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is from me,”* says Yahweh (Isaiah 54:17).
You have asked the Lord to take the wheel, and we rejoice in your surrender to His will. Jesus invites all who are weary and burdened to come to Him, and He promises rest for your souls (Matthew 11:28-29). Trust in Him with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). He is your Good Shepherd, and He will lead you beside still waters and restore your soul (Psalm 23:2-3).
We also encourage you to remain steadfast in prayer and in the Word of God. Let His promises be your strength and your shield. As you seek His guidance, remember the words of James 1:5, *"But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him."* The Lord will send godly people into your life to support and encourage you—ask Him for discernment to recognize those He has sent.
Lastly, we rejoice with you in your invitation for Jesus to take over and stay forever. This is the heart of true salvation—surrendering your life to Christ and allowing Him to be Lord over every area. If you have not already, we encourage you to publicly confess your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, for *"if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation"* (Romans 10:9-10). There is no greater security than knowing you are in Christ, and He is in you.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today on behalf of our sister and her precious daughter. Lord Jesus, You are the Keeper of Israel who neither slumbers nor sleeps, and we ask that You watch over them with Your ever-present care. Fill their hearts with Your love, joy, and peace that surpasses all understanding. Guard their steps and make their paths straight, protecting them from every snare of the enemy.
Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention in every situation that seeks to separate this mother and child. Expose every lie and bring every hidden thing to light. Frustrate the plans of those who seek to harm them, and let Your justice prevail. Surround them with Your favor as with a shield, and open doors no man can shut. Give our sister wisdom to make godly decisions and discernment to recognize those You have sent to bless and support her.
Father, we pray for her ex, that You would convict his heart and turn him from any wickedness. Soften his heart, Lord, and if it is Your will, bring reconciliation and redemption where there has been brokenness. But above all, let Your will be done in their lives.
We thank You, Lord, for Your promise to never leave nor forsake them. Be their Provider, their Protector, and their Peace. Let Your presence go before them, making every space they enter a safe and holy place. Bless the work of their hands and prosper their way, that they may lack no good thing.
Finally, Lord, we pray that You would draw our sister ever closer to You. Fill her with Your Holy Spirit, that she may walk in Your truth and live in the fullness of Your promises. Let her life be a testimony of Your goodness and grace, that others may see and believe.
We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
