We join with you in lifting up this heartfelt cry to our Heavenly Father, who hears the prayers of His children and acts on their behalf. Your love for your daughter and your desire to walk in God’s will are evident, and we stand with you in agreement, knowing that nothing is too difficult for our Lord. We praise you for invoking the name of Jesus in your prayer, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and receive salvation, grace, and victory. As Scripture declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). Your faith in calling upon Jesus is the foundation of your request, and we rejoice that you have placed your trust in Him.
Your prayer reflects a deep longing for protection, justice, and restoration, and we turn to God’s Word for assurance in these areas. The Lord is your shield and your strong tower, a refuge in times of trouble. *"The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge; my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower"* (Psalm 18:2, WEB). He sees the manipulation and lies of your ex and will expose them in His perfect timing. *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is from me,” says Yahweh"* (Isaiah 54:17, WEB). Trust that God is working behind the scenes, even when you cannot see it. He will vindicate you and protect your daughter, for He is a God of justice who loves mercy and faithfulness.
We also hear your prayer for reconciliation with someone you care about, asking God to bless your love so you may meet again. Here, we must pause and gently remind you of the importance of aligning all relationships with God’s design. If this person is someone you are romantically interested in, we encourage you to seek the Lord’s will above all else. Scripture is clear that relationships should honor God, and if marriage is the goal, it must be between a man and a woman who are both believers in Christ. *"Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"* (2 Corinthians 6:14, WEB). If this relationship has involved any form of intimacy outside of marriage, we urge you to repent and seek God’s forgiveness, for *"the body is... for the Lord, and the Lord for the body"* (1 Corinthians 6:13, WEB). Sexual immorality—including fornication—is a sin that grieves the Holy Spirit, and God calls us to flee from it (1 Corinthians 6:18). If this is a past relationship, pray for God’s will to be done, whether that means restoration in a godly way or surrendering it to Him for His greater purpose in your life.
If this person is not a believer, we must lovingly but firmly remind you that a relationship with an unbeliever will only lead to heartache and spiritual compromise. Your first love must always be Christ, and any relationship that draws you away from Him is not from God. *"A wife is bound by law for as long as her husband lives; but if the husband is dead, she is free to be married to whoever she desires, only in the Lord"* (1 Corinthians 7:39, WEB). This principle applies to all believers—our romantic relationships must be *"in the Lord."* Pray for this person’s salvation if they do not know Christ, but do not pursue a relationship that would dishonor God.
As for your daughter, we lift her up to the Lord, asking that He would surround her with His angels and keep her safe from all harm. *"He will command his angels concerning you, to guard you in all your ways"* (Psalm 91:11, WEB). We pray that God would give you wisdom as her mother to raise her in the fear and admonition of the Lord, teaching her His ways from a young age. *"Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it"* (Proverbs 22:6, WEB). May your home be filled with the peace of Christ, and may your daughter grow to love and serve Him with all her heart.
We also pray for your ex, that God would soften his heart and convict him of the harm his actions are causing. May the Lord reveal Himself to your ex in a powerful way, bringing him to repentance and a change of heart. *"Or do you despise the riches of his goodness, forbearance, and patience, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance?"* (Romans 2:4, WEB). While we pray for his heart to be transformed, we also ask that God would blind the schemes of the enemy and render any legal or personal attacks against you powerless. The Lord is your advocate, and He will fight for you as you trust in Him.
Finally, we pray for your path forward—that God would send godly people into your life to encourage, support, and guide you. Ask the Holy Spirit to give you discernment to recognize those who are sent by Him and to avoid those who would lead you astray. *"Beloved, don’t believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are from God"* (1 John 4:1, WEB). May the Lord open doors of opportunity for you and your daughter, providing for your every need according to His riches in glory. *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:19, WEB).

Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our sister and her precious daughter. Lord, You are the God who sees, the God who hears, and the God who acts on behalf of Your children. We thank You that You are a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble, and a Father to the fatherless. We ask that You surround this mother and her child with Your divine protection, placing a hedge of thorns around them that no enemy can penetrate. Let no weapon formed against them prosper, and let every tongue that rises against them in judgment be condemned. Expose the lies and manipulation of her ex, Lord, and bring his schemes to nothing. Soften his heart, Father, and convict him of the pain he is causing. May he come to repentance and turn away from his harmful ways.
We pray for wisdom and discernment for our sister as she navigates this season. Guide her steps, Lord, and lead her in the path of righteousness for Your name’s sake. Provide for her and her daughter in every way—spiritually, emotionally, physically, and financially. Open doors of favor and opportunity, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
Father, we also lift up the desire of her heart regarding this relationship. If it is Your will, Lord, bring restoration in a way that honors You. But if this relationship is not aligned with Your Word, we ask that You give her the strength to surrender it to You completely. May her heart be fully devoted to You first, and may any relationship in her life draw her closer to You, not away. If this person does not know You, Lord, we pray for their salvation, that they may come to the knowledge of the truth and be saved.
We declare Your promises over her life—promises of protection, provision, and peace. You are her Provider, her Protector, and her Prince of Peace. We ask that You fill her home with Your presence, that it may be a safe and holy place where Your name is honored. Bless her with godly friendships and mentors who will speak life into her and her daughter. Give her the courage to forgive, the strength to stand firm, and the faith to trust You in all things.
Lord, we ask that You take the wheel of her life, as she has requested. May she surrender every area to You—her fears, her desires, her past, and her future. Let her walk in the confidence that You are working all things together for her good and Your glory. We rebuked every spirit of fear, anxiety, and doubt in Jesus’ name, and we declare that she is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves her.
