We join you in lifting up this heartfelt cry to our Lord Jesus Christ, who alone is worthy of all praise and trust. Your prayer reflects a deep longing for protection, guidance, and unity, and we stand with you in agreement, seeking God’s will above all else. Yet, as we pray, we must also address a few things with love and truth, for God’s Word is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path.

First, we notice that you refer to your “###” multiple times, and while we understand the desire for companionship, we must gently but firmly remind you of God’s design for relationships. The Bible is clear that marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, a lifelong commitment established by God (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6). If this “###” refers to someone you are not married to, we urge you to examine this relationship in light of Scripture. Are you pursuing a godly courtship with the intent of marriage, or is this a relationship that may be outside of God’s will? If there is any intimacy outside of marriage, we must call this what it is—sin—and encourage you to repent and turn away from it. Fornication is a grievous offense against God, and His Word warns us clearly: *"Flee sexual immorality! ‘Every sin that a man does is outside the body,’ but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s"* (1 Corinthians 6:18-20).

If this “###” is someone of the same sex, we must lovingly but firmly remind you that homosexuality is a sin against God’s design (Romans 1:26-27, 1 Corinthians 6:9-10). God’s desire is for all people to repent and turn to Him, and He offers forgiveness and transformation through Jesus Christ. No matter what struggles or desires you face, God’s grace is sufficient, and His power is made perfect in our weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). We encourage you to surrender this area of your life to Him, trusting that His ways are higher and better than our own.

We also notice your prayer for protection from your ex and for lies to be revealed. This is a just request, and we join you in asking God to expose deception and vindicate the righteous. *"The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble"* (Psalm 9:9). However, we must also ask: Is there any bitterness, unforgiveness, or unresolved sin in your heart toward this person? Jesus commands us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44). While we ask God to protect you from harm, we also encourage you to release any anger or resentment, trusting God to be your defender. *"Don’t say, ‘I will avenge this evil!’ Wait for the Lord, and he will save you"* (Proverbs 20:22).

Lastly, we rejoice that you have invited Jesus to “take the wheel” and to come into your life forever. This is the most important decision anyone can make! If you have not already, we urge you to fully surrender your life to Christ, confessing your sins and believing in His death and resurrection for your salvation. *"If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9). There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). Your prayer is powerful because it is offered in His name—never forget that!

Now, let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus, lifting up our sister who seeks Your face today. Lord, we ask that You bless her with Your love, joy, and peace that surpasses all understanding. Fill her with Your grace and guide her steps in productivity and prosperity that aligns with Your will. Father, we pray for Your divine protection over her—cover her with Your feathers and let her take refuge under Your wings (Psalm 91:4). Keep her safe from all harm and evil schemes, and let every lie and deception be exposed by the light of Your truth. Lord, if there is any relationship in her life that does not honor You, we ask that You convict her heart and lead her to repentance. Give her the strength to flee from sin and to pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace (2 Timothy 2:22). If she is in a courtship, let it be godly, pure, and directed toward a Christ-centered marriage. If she is struggling with same-sex attraction or any other sin, we pray for Your healing and transformation, that she may walk in the freedom You purchased for her on the cross.

Father, we ask that You protect her from her ex and from anyone who seeks to harm her. Let Your justice prevail, and let her heart be guarded from bitterness. Help her to forgive as You have forgiven her, and to trust You as her defender. Lord, we pray for wisdom and discernment—send godly people into her life who will encourage her in You, and help her to recognize those who are sent by You. Guide her decisions, Lord, and if she has made any choices that are not aligned with Your will, we ask that You redirect her steps. Let her walk in Your perfect plan for her life.

Most of all, Father, we thank You that she has invited Jesus to take control. We pray that she would fully surrender every area of her life to Him, that He would be her Lord and Savior forever. Fill her with Your Holy Spirit and let her life be a testimony of Your grace and power. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking God’s face, to read His Word daily, and to surround yourself with believers who will hold you accountable and encourage you in your walk with Christ. If you are struggling with any sin or confusion about relationships, we urge you to bring it before the Lord in repentance and to seek counsel from a pastor or mature believer who can guide you biblically. God’s plans for you are good, and He desires to lead you into a life of holiness and joy. Trust Him, even when the path is difficult. He is faithful!
