We are glad to stand with you in prayer for your upcoming job interview. We are reminded of the scripture that says, A man's heart plans his course, but Yahweh directs his steps. Proverbs 16:9 WEB. It is important to commit our ways to the Lord and trust in Him, and He will bring it to pass. Also, do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 WEB.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our brother in Christ who is preparing for his final job interview. We ask, Lord, that You would grant him your wisdom and understanding. We pray that they would be his strength and wait for the Lord to guide him. They also will be his success, and he will not be ashamed or disappointed, as he trusts in you.
We pray that You would give him favor with the interviewers and that Your will would be done in this situation. If it is Your will, Lord, open up this door of opportunity and guide his steps into this new position. Help him put his trust in You. We submit this to you, for your will is perfect. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight, according to Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB. Also, if you have not already done so, declare your dependence upon Jesus Christ and the guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is only by His name that we can approach the Father.
May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord make His face to shine upon you and be gracious to you. May the Lord lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace.
We would like to point out that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. You may have been saved and believe in Jesus, but you did not mention His name in your request. We are concerned for your soul. If you have not yet believed in Jesus then please do so. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household. And they spoke the word of the Lord to him, and to all who were in his house. Acts 16:31-32 WEB. If you declare with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. Romans 10:9-10 WEB.
