To Offend A Little One Is Worthy Of DEATH!

To offend a little one is worthy of DEATH according to what the Lord Jesus Christ said in Matthew 18:6. In Jesus' name! Amen!

We are deeply grieved by the gravity of the words spoken by our Lord Jesus Christ in Matthew 18:6, where He declares, "but whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to stumble, it would be better for him if a huge millstone were hung around his neck, and that he were drowned in the depths of the sea." This is not a warning to be taken lightly, for the Lord holds the innocence and faith of children in the highest regard. To lead a child astray, to corrupt their purity, or to hinder their walk with God is a sin of unimaginable weight. The Lord’s words here are a sobering reminder of the responsibility we bear toward the little ones in our care—whether they are our own children, the youth in our churches, or the vulnerable in our communities.

We must examine our own lives and ask: Are we living in a way that sets a godly example for the children around us? Are we teaching them the ways of the Lord, or are we, even unintentionally, leading them toward sin? The world is filled with influences that seek to corrupt the minds and hearts of the young—through media, education, and even the words and actions of those they trust. We must be vigilant, standing as a barrier between the lies of the enemy and the precious souls entrusted to us. If we have failed in this duty, we must repent and seek the Lord’s forgiveness, asking Him to restore what has been broken.

Let us also remember that the "little ones" Christ speaks of are not only children in age but also those who are young in faith. New believers, those who are weak in their walk, or those who are easily swayed by the world are equally vulnerable. To cause such a one to stumble—whether through false teaching, ungodly counsel, or our own hypocrisy—is a serious offense before God. We must be careful with our words, our actions, and our influence, ensuring that we are building up the body of Christ rather than tearing it down.

Father God, we come before You with heavy hearts, acknowledging the weight of Your words in Matthew 18:6. We ask for Your forgiveness for the times we have failed to protect the little ones, whether through our actions, our neglect, or our silence. Lord, we repent of any way in which we have led others astray, especially the young and the vulnerable. Cleanse us of our sins and renew a right spirit within us. Give us the wisdom and strength to be faithful stewards of the souls You have placed in our care. Help us to live in a way that points them to You, that they may grow in faith, purity, and love for You.

We pray for the children and young believers in our midst, that You would surround them with godly influences and protect them from the snares of the enemy. Strengthen their faith and give them discernment to recognize and reject the lies of this world. For those who have already been led astray, we ask that You would draw them back to Yourself, healing their hearts and restoring their innocence. Lord, raise up men and women who will stand in the gap for the little ones, who will teach them Your ways, and who will model Christlike love and holiness before them.

We also lift up those who have been guilty of causing others to stumble. Father, we know that Your grace is sufficient for all sin, and we ask that You would bring conviction, repentance, and restoration to their lives. Help them to see the gravity of their actions and to turn away from sin, seeking Your face with humility and contrition. May they find forgiveness in You and be used by You to build up rather than tear down.

Lord, we ask that You would expose any darkness in our homes, churches, and communities that seeks to harm the little ones. Give us the courage to confront sin and to stand for righteousness, no matter the cost. May Your name be glorified in all that we do, and may we never be a stumbling block to those who look to us for guidance. We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Good Shepherd who laid down His life for the sheep. Amen.

We've been reflecting on Matthew 18:6, and it's truly sobering. It's a stark reminder of the responsibility we bear towards the little ones, both in age and in faith. Let's not just read these words and move on, but let them sink deep into our hearts and guide our actions.

We need to be vigilant, not just against obvious threats, but also against subtle influences that can lead our children and young believers astray. The world is full of lies, and we must stand firm as a barrier against them. We should be teaching our children not just what to believe, but also how to discern truth from falsehood.

But it's not just about our children. We must also consider those who are young in their faith or easily swayed. We must be careful with our words, actions, and influence, ensuring we're building up the body of Christ rather than tearing it down.

Let's pray for ourselves, that we would be faithful stewards of the souls entrusted to us. And let's pray for our children and young believers, that they would grow in faith, purity, and love for God. Let's also pray for those who have caused others to stumble, that they would find forgiveness and restoration in God's grace.

In Jesus' name, we ask all these things, Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We are deeply moved by your burden for the protection and sanctity of the little ones, as our Lord Jesus Christ so powerfully declared in Matthew 18:6. It is a sacred responsibility to stand guard over the innocent, and we have joined our hearts with yours in prayer, lifting up this matter with urgency and reverence before the throne of grace.

We are grateful you entrusted this weighty concern to us, and we have faithfully interceded, asking the Father to intervene with His mighty hand—shielding the vulnerable, exposing darkness, and bringing justice in accordance with His perfect will. If the Lord has already moved in response to these prayers, we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report so we may rejoice together in His faithfulness. If the answer has not yet come, or if the battle continues, we invite you to post this request again so we may persist in prayer, standing firm beside you until the victory is won.

May the Holy Spirit strengthen you as you remain steadfast in seeking God’s heart for His children. We pray this in the powerful name of Jesus, our Savior and Defender. Amen.
