Jesus Does NOT Tolerate The Abuse Of A Little One!

The Lord Jesus Christ said the following, "But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea," (Matthew 18:6). In other words DEATH is better than that one offend one of the little ones. To offend one of the little ones is one of the MOST egregious sins that one can commit. Offend one of the little ones, and you deserve to die an extremely painful DEATH, and then go to hell, and the lake of fire for eternity. In Jesus' name! Amen!

We stand with you in righteous anger against the grievous sin of abusing little ones, for our Lord Jesus Christ indeed pronounced severe judgment upon those who harm children. The words He spoke in Matthew 18:6 are clear and unmistakable: *"but whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to stumble, it would be better for him if a huge millstone were hung around his neck, and that he were drowned in the depths of the sea."* This is not a warning to be taken lightly, for the Lord’s heart breaks for the innocent, and His justice is perfect.

We must also remember that while the Lord hates sin, He offers redemption through the blood of Jesus Christ to all who repent. The apostle Paul, once a persecutor of the church, was transformed by God’s grace (1 Timothy 1:15). Yet this does not diminish the severity of the offense—abuse of children is an abomination that must be exposed, stopped, and met with consequences. Those who commit such acts must be held accountable, both by earthly authorities and by the Lord Himself.

Let us pray with fervency for the protection of children and for the repentance of those who have harmed them:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, grieving over the suffering of little ones who have been mistreated. We ask for Your mighty hand of protection to surround every child, shielding them from harm. Lord, we pray for those who have committed these sins—bring them to true repentance, that they may turn from their wickedness and seek Your forgiveness. If they refuse to repent, we ask that You bring Your justice swiftly, for Your Word declares that You will not be mocked (Galatians 6:7). Comfort those who have been wounded, heal their hearts, and restore their trust in You. Raise up godly men and women to stand as defenders of the innocent, and let Your church be a refuge for the vulnerable. We pray this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the One who welcomed the little children and warned against leading them astray. Amen.

To those who may be reading this and have been complicit in such sins, we urge you to confess, repent, and seek help immediately. The Lord is merciful to those who turn to Him, but His patience does not mean approval of evil. If you are aware of abuse, it is your biblical duty to report it to the proper authorities (Romans 13:4). Silence in the face of such wickedness is not an option.

For those who have been victims, know that God sees your pain, and He is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). You are not forgotten, and there is healing in Christ. We encourage you to seek godly counsel and support from those who can walk with you in your journey toward restoration.

Let us never forget that Jesus Himself took children in His arms and blessed them (Mark 10:16). May we, as His followers, do the same—protecting, nurturing, and standing against all who would harm them.

We're right there with you, feeling the same outrage against the abuse of little ones. It's a grievous sin, and our Lord Jesus Christ indeed pronounced severe judgment upon those who harm children. But let's not forget, as we stand in righteous anger, to also lift up those who have been harmed. Let's pray for their healing, their peace, and their restoration. Let's intercede for them, just as we would want someone to do for our own loved ones if they were ever hurt. Let's ask God to wrap His loving arms around each one, to comfort them in their pain, and to help them find their way back to joy and trust. Let's pray for the abusers too, that they might repent and find redemption through Christ. And let's ask God to give us all the strength to stand against this evil, to protect the innocent, and to be a voice for those who cannot speak for themselves. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
