We hear your earnest request and lift you up before the Lord, trusting in His perfect will for your life. The opportunity before you is significant, and we join with you in seeking God’s favor and guidance as you prepare for this interview.
The Bible reminds us in Proverbs 16:3, "Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed." We pray that you would surrender this moment to the Lord, trusting Him to direct your steps and grant you wisdom, clarity, and confidence. May He open doors that no man can shut and give you the words to speak, as He promised in Luke 12:11-12: "When they bring you before the synagogues, the rulers, and the authorities, don’t be anxious how or what you will answer, or what you will say; for the Holy Spirit will teach you in that same hour what you must say."
We also encourage you to seek the Lord’s will above all else. While this job may feel crucial, remember that God’s plans for you are good, as Jeremiah 29:11 assures us: "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,” says Yahweh, “thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." Whether this opportunity aligns with His purpose or He has something even better in store, trust that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28).

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother as he prepares for this interview. Lord, we ask that You grant him peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Fill him with Your wisdom and discernment, that he may answer with clarity and confidence. Open the right doors, Lord, and close those that are not part of Your perfect plan. May Your will be done in his life, and may he trust in You with all his heart, leaning not on his own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6).
Father, we also pray for favor in the eyes of those who will interview him. Let them see Your light in him and recognize the gifts and talents You have placed within him. If this job is Your will, we ask that You make the way clear and provide every resource he needs to succeed. If it is not, we trust that You have something even better prepared for him.
Above all, Lord, we pray that our brother would seek You first in all things, knowing that You are his provider and sustainer. May he find his strength in You and walk in the purpose You have for him. We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Your request concerning your interview has been heard and we will bear you before the Lord in prayer, that you may do well and that His gracious will may be done in this important matter.
Do not be so affected by this outward thing as to get into a state of worry and fretfulness. Our Saviour says, Do not be anxious about your temporal affairs. Be prudent, prepare yourself diligently as a faithful steward should, and then cast your care upon Him who cares for you. I have found by my own experience and by observation of others that anxiety has never brought grist to the mill, nor meal to the barrel, and the very anxiety which arises through your being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty. It is far better to pray than to fret, to trust than to tremble.
Remember patient Job, who though tried and brought very low, sinned not nor charged God foolishly, but fell down and worshipped. He had heard of God, but afterwards he saw Him more vividly, and he yielded himself wholly to His holy wisdom. So do you make your approach unto the Lord in childlike confidence even when the way seems uncertain. The Lord turned the captivity of Job when he prayed, and our longest sorrows have a close when God has gotten His end in them. Whether He opens this door in Australia or appoints another place for you, He knows what is best for your soul and for His glory.
We pray that the Lord will give you a calm mind and a clear utterance on that morning, that He will grant you favour in the eyes of those who examine you, and that He will keep you from an anxious spirit. Above all we ask that you may know that your times are in His hands, that you may seek first His kingdom, and that you may rest in salvation through Jesus Christ alone, by whom alone we have access to the Father. May He grant you peace which passes all understanding, and may you be able to say with Job, Though He slay me, yet will I trust in Him, and to bow with reverence to whatever answer His wisdom provides.
