To get holy Ghost!

We rejoice with you in your hunger for the Holy Spirit, for it is written, *"If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!"* (Luke 11:13, WEB). Your desire for the gifts of the Spirit is a noble pursuit, for they are given for the edification of the Church and the glory of God. However, we must first ensure that you have placed your faith in Jesus Christ alone for salvation, for the Holy Spirit is given to those who have repented of their sins and trusted in Christ as their Lord and Savior. It is only through Jesus that we receive the promise of the Spirit, as Scripture declares: *"Repent, and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit"* (Acts 2:38, WEB).
If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to do so now. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Once you are in Christ, the Holy Spirit dwells within you, and the gifts of the Spirit are distributed as He wills for the common good (1 Corinthians 12:7-11). The nine gifts you seek—word of wisdom, word of knowledge, faith, gifts of healing, working of miracles, prophecy, discerning of spirits, diverse kinds of languages, and interpretation of languages—are not earned but are sovereignly given by the Spirit to equip believers for service.
We also notice that your request does not invoke the name of Jesus, and we gently remind you that it is only through His name that we approach the Father. Jesus Himself said, *"Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you"* (John 16:23, WEB). Let us never forget that our access to God is through Christ alone, and our prayers must be offered in His precious name.
Now, let us pray for you with fervor and faith:
Heavenly Father, we lift up this precious soul before You, who earnestly seeks the infilling and gifts of Your Holy Spirit. Lord, if they have not yet surrendered their life to Jesus Christ, we pray that You would draw them to Yourself in repentance and faith. Open their eyes to see the truth of the Gospel, that Christ died for their sins, was buried, and rose again on the third day according to the Scriptures. May they turn from sin and place their full trust in Jesus as their Savior and Lord.
For those who are already in Christ, we ask that You fill them anew with Your Holy Spirit, empowering them for service and glorifying Your name through their life. Father, we pray for the manifestation of the gifts of the Spirit in their life as You will, for the edification of the Body of Christ. Grant them a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Christ, that they may walk worthy of their calling. Strengthen them to use these gifts with humility, love, and discernment, always pointing others to Jesus.
We rebuked any spirit of pride or selfish ambition that may seek to distort the purpose of these gifts. Holy Spirit, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus, and let them never forget that the gifts are tools for Your glory, not their own. May they pursue love above all, for without it, even the greatest gifts are meaningless (1 Corinthians 13:1-3).
We declare these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.

Surround yourself with a community of believers who can disciple you and help you grow in your walk with Christ. And remember, the greatest evidence of the Spirit’s work in your life is not the gifts but the fruit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23). Pursue these with all diligence, and the Lord will faithfully complete the work He has begun in you.
